that is a guess, not really sure how much the dinner was, i guessed on the fries & rice
 
Well i just got home from taking my daughter to the hospital. I feel so bad, i hate when she is sick, She has Pink Eye and Bronchitis so she is on meds, i hope it gets better fast!!

Well my was an OKAY one. I went to school to take me test and then i had to leave early to get my Isabella (my daughter) and i came home and was going to workout to my DVD, well i started it and done the warm up then it started skipping, so i couldnt do the dvd. I would have walked but its rainy and bella is sick. So hopefully i can make it the gym tomorrow, we shall see... So insead me and Isabella took a nice 2hr nap!! Here is what i have eated today:

Brakfast:
SB snack bar (140 cal)

Lunch:
Ham & turkey wrap w/sf jello (220 cal)
salad (80 cal)

Snack:
Fiber one bar (140 cal)

Dinner:
2 tuna wraps (335 cal)

Drinks:
water

Total:
915 cal

Note: Later i'm going to watch the biggest loser and American Idol and eat a SO cake thats about 270 cal??? somthing like that which will put me at 1200 cal.
 
hola...a 2 hour nap, que envidia!!! I haven't done that in so long!! just curious, what eating plan are you following? or is it something you put together yourself?
 
That two hour nap sounds wonderful. I have a bad habit of taking naps that I think will be 45 min, but then the next thing I know it, it's like four hours later....not sure if you would call that a nap! haha!

What are you in school for? I notice you are taking tons of medically related classes. I am a med student so I can relate to all those crappy tests :). Nice job on the 100%....I don't think I've gotten one of those in AGES haha!

Just curious, what tortilla/wraps do you use for your wraps? I'm wondering since your total is 230 cals and I make wraps all the time too!

Hey... i'm not on a eating plan, i just make it up as i go through out the day. I try to stay at 1200-1300 calories a day. I eat snack bars (fiber one, South beach, special k) and like a smart ones dinners or somthing like that for lunch. Then for dinner i find whatever is in the house (mostly chicken, something lite!!). Tammy(Niapage) told me about the diff. bars and the help alot!!!

Hey!! I'm going to school for medical assisting, what are you going for?? Well for the ones that i had for lunch its the south beach lunch kit, for the wraps that i had for dinner i bought them from wal-mart its call Buena Vida for low carb diets, where the mexican cheese is at in the cold section (70 cal. for 1 tortillas) its whold wheat as well!! really good!
 
Ah those tortillas are part of a line from Azteca, right? I use those flat out wraps (I think wal mart may have those as well). They have 90 cal, 9g fiber, 9g protein, but I'm not sure the carb count if you're on a low carb diet :).

I am going to medical school to be a physician. I've worked w/ a lot of medical assistant students and the curriculum seems very similar to me....it's all hard :). So I feel your pain being so busy and all. When do you start doing your clinicals? I started doing that last July and it's just sucked the life right out of me. I literally go to work, come home, read, work out, relax for a very short while, and am back to bed. But then again, I don't have a daughter like you, so I guess I can't complain about not having time! :)

WOW i cant even think about all the work you have to learn. Yeah it is alot that i have to learn, i didnt relize i had to know all this, its like i'm going to school to be a physician..lol..ohh well i like it though! I dont know when i'm starting my clinicals, my school really dont go in order, some people started when i started and are already taking them.. crazy i know..lol.. i cant wait until my externship!! when are you done?? i'm done next year (feb 2009) cant wait!! good luck to you!!
 
well my day has been very STRESSFUL!! i have been studying all day for my test tomorrow..damn 3 test this week.. its been a long week!! Well today it was ok as far as the food..well here goes nothing:

I know I need more fiber, and judging by their name, they must have a pretty good fiber content.

Good luck on the upcoming test! Did you say it was A&P 1? As in Anatomy and Physiology? James had to take parts 1 & 2, and they were rough on him!
 
Hey! I think we both have to know pretty much the same amount.....which is a LOT :). I finish up in May of '09. It seems like it never ends. 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, then another 3-4 years of residency where you work 100+ hours/week and make about $7/hour.....oh it never ends:). But in the end, you and I can both know that we'll be helping ppl :). Do you know what kind of medicine you want to go into? I've been thinking of peds for a long time, and I love it, but still undecided. I start my surgery rotation Monday so we shall see how that goes.....I have a feeling I wont like it :)

I'm in med school too! I'm going for chiropractic. I'm in Anatomy II right now. I didn't do so well on my last lab exam. It was on upper extremity. But i did okay in lecture. Anyway, I'm wondering how you make it through the day on only that much food? I think that would be really hard for me. I have to have a big breakfast. And I usually get hungry before lunch so I have to have a snack. Any tricks or you just get used to it? I'm impressed, by the way.

Hey girl, thanks for stoppin by! yes i love the fiber one bars, they are so good!! I get the oats & caramel kind, there is 9grams of fiber in that bar..i love them. Yes its anatomy & physiology its not that bad, i like it ok, bones are my fav..lol.. its just alot to learn! I have to take 2 also hopefully i will get it next term!

Hey!! Yeah your in school way longer then me. I only have 14 months total! but in the end you will be making a lot more money then me!! i'm not sure where i want to be?? Hello... thats cool, i came across a bit of people in med school! Yeah i like chiropractic, one of my teachers is a chiropractor... good luck with that, speaking of i need to get my back ajusted..lol.. I hope you do good on your next test!!
I just i get use to eating that. I get up at 6am, get me & baby ready and then i eat a bar in the car, then a snack, come home eat lunch, study, snack, dinner, t.v.and snack...lol.. i think they way my schedule is it helps alot. Also the things that i eat fill me up. I wish i had time to cook a big breakfast but i dont, i do on the weekend though!
 
WOW, what a day i have!! WEll i want to start off by telling my grades from my test. Well the test i took on tuesday i made a 91(A).. and the test i took today i made a 100!!!! YAY, i'm so proud of myself!! Well my grandma is watching the baby tonight, so i have enjoyed my free time (i do miss her though!) but i did workout!! i done 30 mins on the treadmill..my legs are hurting, well tomorrow is my weigh-in hope its a good one!! i will post later what i ate....

Well i just got done eating dinner and boy i feel like i'm going to explode!!!! my stomach is hurting, i done good all day except for dinner, i ate to much... ok so here it goes.....

Breakfast:
cereal (200 cal)

Lunch:
SM dinner (260 cal)

Snack:
Candy.. about (300 cal) :(

Dinner:
Cuban chicken bagel (umm so good.... cals?)
bagel w/cream cheese (cals???? should have stoped at the 1st one)

Workout:
30 min treadmill :)

Overall, its not that bad, but next time only 1 bagel.... i know i went well over 1200 cal, but i dont think its over 2000. i will weight in the morning, i hope its some kind of loss!!!! we shall see... have a good night!
