That does sound good, and a bit fancier than mine. I have been thinking about trying the cold oats thing. When I have oats for my breakfast, Rob I usually just soak them overnight in low-fat milk, add berries or stewed fruit & then a dollop of Greek yoghurt on top for extra protein as well as a sprinkle of hemp seeds & a few chopped walnuts for even more protein.
So am I, and they were great. Thanks for the idea.Glad you are defrosting the peaches . Sounds great .
Thanks LaMa, it feels good.Congratulations, it's well-earned!
Oatmeal - porridge, seems we are separated by a common language! And yes, I meant oatmeal
Thanks, I am breaking them in a bit, the boots and my feet.Good looking boots, Rob. Yes- make sure you break them in & wear good socks, maybe 2 pairs to prevent blisters.
Got in an early morning bike ride and watched the sunrise from the bike, a little walking also.
Awesome Rob!Down 4 lbs to 210 this morning, I am happy!
I usually heat mine up in the microwave, sometimes after I add the fruit, sometimes not, but I usually have them hot. That does sound good, and a bit fancier than mine. I have been thinking about trying the cold oats thing.
EXCELLENT WORK!Down 4 lbs to 210 this morning, I am happy!
Yes, it was nice. I am trying to ride the bike at least once a week, more if I can.I missed your entry yesterday but this sounds so nice!
I will have to try that, I like hot oatmeal.I usually heat mine up in the microwave
Thanks TM, it felt good.EXCELLENT WORK!
Thank you Petal, it was.Sounds like a great day you had
Yeah, I am happy about that. You don't cure arthritis, but making the leg muscles stronger lessens the effect.great about your knees getting better
Thanks Emily, I am trying to get in at least 20 minutes of exercise everyday. Most days more. So far so good.Well done on the exercise
That sounds like a great goal. To see where you are aiming for, to get a little closer each day...and all done in good outdoor air!still have a long ways to go to get to the top, but at least I have started. And there will be snow on the upper part for a few months yet so I can keep working up to it. I sure would like to be able to make it to the top by the end of summer, we'll see. This is the walk I can do from home.
Ok, I am going to give it a try. Just had a larger than normal bowl of breakfast cereal. I will try upping my minimum to 1,200 calories today. Thanks for sticking with me.I really do think you need to be eating more with your current exercise level.
Yes, but not before the snow melts. Its about another 1,000 meter elevation rise, no small challenge."To the top" meaning to the high still-snowy part on the right?
Yep, that's my current plan.building it up each day bit by bit as the weather gets warmer is great.
It should be, but so far I have been turning around short of the snowline, but its still winter we will probably get more snow, even at the house.walking up to the snowline regularly while it recedes sounds like a fun way to regulate your distance
Yes, but right now I am only doing the hike once a week or so.get a little closer each day...and all done in good outdoor air!
Thanks LaMa, so am I.Sounds like you´re doing great so far. I hope the calorie increase will work well!
I know its not rational, but I do have that fear. I am now trying to eat about 200 calories a day more than I have been. I think it will be ok.I understand your fear of eating more
Me too xoI always feel a bit of relief when i see that you're eating more
I love your positive posts and your enjoyment of life
