Alee's new way of life!

Well,l I'm not having any problem with what I'm eating and staying in a calorie limit, I don't seem t get hungry at all.. there was one day I was kind of craving but I stuck with low cal snacks.. now here is my problem. I get so tired so early on.. maybe I just need to get use to things, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to boost my energy.. so I'm not falling asleep around 5pm everyday. =X
 
Ok so I have a good "routine" down as far as eating goes, so I do not need to post that everyday.. I walk everyday now.. which is good too. Today I found it a little more challenging than normal to get out there and walk, but I did it anyways=)
 
This week has been going extra well :] now that I'm loosing weight, and living a more "healthier" lifestyle... everything else is coming with ease! I have been working harder on my schoolwork - besides loosing weight it was the most stressful thing in my life, and another area I have disappointed myself in time and time again. Now it seems like its alot easier, and I have tons of more confidence than I did a week or two ago, I have a feeling it will only get better.

Well.. this past weekend I kind of didn't do so well.. but I plan on getting things straight again today :) Also, getting my gym membership today ^.^ so I'm excited..

I also am planning on buying a few cute things for when I loose weight:D Just for a little more inspiration!

Ok.. so Id like to share some of my inspiration for this weight loss.. and one is my cousin. I do not know what weight she was in these pictures, and how much time it took her to loose. I should ask her:p.. She said she just lost in naturally not even trying! I am built like her(so I see around about how I will look) although I weigh a bit more than she did in her before pic :)

She is so much happier now, and its such an inspiration, although me wanting it was enough :)

Anyways, my day so far has been awesome. I went walking as normal.. and I wasn't tired one bit. I walked extra laps.. and it felt great.

Some lady down the street also stopped me to ask me how many times I walk my "triangle" she said she sees me all the time, and just wanted to know how I was doing :) It felt great to be the one asked, how many times I walk this or do that-Instead of being the one asking!

Ok. today and yesterday haven't been so great for me. I guess my personal life is affecting my dieting. I get angry and I get hungry.. sad and I get hungry.. and I just really do not know how to stop it. Food has always been my comfort, for the lack of it I have in other places in my life I guess. Anyways.. just a morning rant.

I will get out and walk today , since I missed it yesterday =(

Just caught up in your journal and it sounds like you are really doing good, sticking with this.

Better late than never, but I liked your new hair color. :)
 
Ok, well I'm trying to figure out a reasonable target of weight loss by Christmas.. but here is the catch, I am big dreamer therefore I set my standards wayyy high, which at times is great, but at other times its disappointing. So does anyone have any suggestions?

Also.. I said I have been going for the comfort cravings lately, which I'm trying to fix- but when I do have these, what should In eat? Low cal "snacks' I guess. I'm going to go shopping tonight, and pick up a few more things. Give me some ideas on what to look for!
 
Hey Alee, I think a stretching but achievable and sensible target would be around 65pounds by Christmas. That is right around 2lb a week. SO a weight of 160ish by Christmas how does that sound? I think it is enough for it to be a real dream and aspiration and enough to see a massive change, but not crazy.

Snacking is still soemthing that i am working on, and on days like today when the stress is immense not doing too well with, but i have found both sunflower seeds and peas still in their pods great snacking foods, as it takes effort to get to them, rather than just being able to pour a handful into your mouth and eat mindlessly, so not only are they good snacks but you eat less of them because you soon realise you arent really hungry at all and give up.

Another thing i try to do is when i feel the need for a snack to either have a big glass of water or go on a walk, do some exercise, and normally i realise I didnt need to snack at all.

Thanks about the goal weight thing by Christmas, I wrote down 175 thats 50 pounds , if I do more thats even better! :D

The snacking thing is so hard for me, I know what you mean by stress. When im upset I snack, or bored I snack. Thanks for the snacking ideas, maybe I just need some new hobbies:D I also got my gym card the other day, which made me very happy- I have prob already said it three times in my diary( but it is exciting).

Anyways, time to go to the store and look for some low cal snacks..
 
Today has been a slow day, I went to the gym this morning which was awesome. I really enjoy going to the gym. I am starting to go everyday since things have been calm around here, unlike the previous weeks :jump: hehe.


I have also lost a few more pounds, and I picked up some low cal snacks. The snacks have helped a ton, but I'm getting to the point where snacking isn't as big of an issue as it was before! Anyways, off to take a few tests.
 
So glad you're enjoying the gym aleee, and that the need for snacking is dissapearing too, sounds like you are doing brilliantly still :)

Ok well I picked up tennis, its fun .. but im not to great at it just yet. :p This week has been slow ><
