Sushi leaves me craving too. I think it's starchy carbs for me. Lapses do suck but look at them as learning. Take care of yourself, honey , xoxo Cate

Thank you for the support Korrie, Florence, Hana, LaMa and Cate. You are right I have to try and stay positive and consider this a journey.

It was a little bit of a weird week eating wise, I have still not gotten back to a clean feeling of hunger before I eat but I haven't binged again.

Sunday:2000ish
Monday: so much
Tuesday:1200 but ate despite not being hungry at all
Wednesday: 400 but again just wasn't hungry. I wasn't punishing myself for eating too much. Ive yo-yo'ed like that in the past and it was horrible and unsustainable.
Thursday: 1300ish but but somewhat unhealthy (Tater tots)
Friday:1300ish
Today: not hungry so far, stomach still feels full/ stretched from monday.

I want to the gym tuesday, wednesdsy, and friday. Walked a bunch this week as well (8 hrs maybe slow pace) Yesterday got 451 cal/45 min on elliptical, 530 overall.

I went spinning for the first time in years this week! It was great:) I forgot how much I liked it.

Also, it was crazy but despite everything this week I got on the scale yesterday and saw... 160 lbs/ 72.6 kgs!! I was sooo happy :). Thank goodness I didn't allow Monday to rule my life (for too long anyway;))

So impressed Julie. 72.6kgs is wonderful. Just so I know are you floating around your goal weight?
I am so impressed with your exercise as well. From what I understand spin classes are really hard.

I also get what you mean about eating habits moving around. It's a challenge re-training the body to a more normal routine of eating (whatever normal is for each individual). You sound like you're on a great path, so just keep it up; and so good in not letting Monday get to you to ruin the rest of your week. Well done:)

Thanks Florence! :) Yeah spin can be hard but if I get tired I do deviate from what the instructor says. And yea I agree it's crazy how much monitoring is needed to replicate "normal" eating patterns. Got a ways to go to my goal weight of 53kg.

Today

Food: 1250ish cal

Breakfast: 2 vegetable dumplings

Lunch: lots of brown rice, guacomole, tofu, beans, kale, lettuce

Dinner: 1 "meatball", italian ice

Exercise, 451 cal/ 45 min elliptical, 550/ 1 hr overall
20 lat pull downs with 60, 7 with 75
60 crunches, stretches

Overall happy :)

Today was okay, feel kind of sick so I skipped the gym today. Ate about 800 calories, felt much worse after eating though so I'm done for the day. Hopefully tomorrow is better! Still aiming for 158 by the first.

Hi Korrie, yeah I don't make a habit of it but was feeling sick.

Feeling better today!

Food:
1200ish cal

Banana
Ice cream sandwich

Chik'n
Cauliflower
Vegan pizza

Popsicle
A couple chips & guac

Pizza
Ice cream sandwich
Vegan cheeze-its

17 min on elliptical, didn't have time for more. Glad I went for a little though!

Thank you Cate! :) Feeling a little better.

Food:
1200ish
Bread and tofurkey
Ice cream sandwich

Cucumber
Large bagel with tofu cream cheese

2 bowls of broccoli, cheeze, tomato sauce, with some pasta
1 "meatball", tofurkey slice
Snickerdoodle vegan ice cream

Exercise: spin class, it was really fun! I was there on a day pass, it's kind of an expensive gym but one thing I liked was that it showed everyone's bike number on a screen at the front if the room, and during class there was a mini race- eveyone was randomly paired off and there was a relay race - you could see your circle moving across the screen haha. It was really motivating because I didn't want to let the other person down. Came in 4th! Although, I think it's going to be hard to sit tomorrow ;).

That made me laugh Julie. I could see myself crack under the pressure of doing a relay...getting flash backs of little A's :) Glad it was fun for you though. It is always so much easier if we like the exercise we are doing hey.
Are you going to go back to that gym?

I don't have a grain of competitiveness in my body but I WOULD feel bad about letting my "partner" down, especially if we were strangers.

Haha, it was fun! I probably won't be joining that gym because it's so expensive, but I am going to start spinning at my gym.

Past couple days averaged 1300ish calories.

Yesterday I made some soup (celery, onion, garlic, garbanzo beans and vegetable bullion) and beans and it turned out pretty good. I'm going to try and cook more, I think I eat healthier when I do.

Today's food 1300ish:

Soup
Tofurkey lettuce sandwich
Italian ice
Some cheeze its

Broccoli, pasta,and cheeze
Mandarin oranges
Half a almond/date/cherry bar

Half a bagel w/ tofu cream cheese
Tofu scramble
Some potato chips

Didn't exercise. Past 2 days walked a little.

Kind of excited/nervous to see what I'll weigh tomorrow-it will be 10 weeks since I started!

It is much easier to eat healthy at home. Fingers & toes crossed for a good weigh-in, Julie.

Thanks Cate and Florence!

So weighed in today at 158 lbs/ 71.7 kg, I lost 19 lbs in 10 weeks- I'm happy with at that since it's 10% of my initial body weight.

Next goal- 149 lbs/ 67.5 kgs by Sept 6th.

Food: 1150ish
1/2 bagel with tofu cream cheese
Tofu scramble
Italian ice

Cauliflower w/ a little hummus and tahini
Beef-less burger

Banana
Broccoli & tofu scramble w/ tomato sauce
Some cheeze its

Exercise:
1 hr elliptical (455/ 45 min, 580 total. Setting 10, incline 5)

2 sets of 8 lat pull downs with 60 lbs, 1 with 75 lbs
60 crunches
Stretches

Happy August!
