MJ: ok.. don't martini's have calories?? hehe!!

Yes!! They do have some calories. It's just two shots of vodka. lol We can make it one shot and split the martini! haha

I started drinking them because they have no added sugar or mixers.

MJ: All for it!! :)

Blabblings:
Uhm, so my morning has been a little weird. I had a pancake craving (probably more like a syrup craving!) so I swung by McDonalds, and ordered the breakfast of hot cakes & a sausage w/ a diet coke (lol, OH so healthy!) fully intending to eat only 1/2 of it, and not even eat the sausage at all. minimal syrup used. So I get my order, get to work, realize that our cleaning lady has not come yet again  (she tends to be sick often, or delayed one way or another and cleans over the weekend then.. but her original day is Thursday) So I rush around washing all the coffee mugs in our sink, the coffee pot, etc. prep coffee for the day, and proceed to empty all the trash bags etc, since they are now overflowing. All said and done, when I finally get back to my desk and my breakfast 20 minutes later, I realize that its not at all what I ordered!!:( Its eggs, sausage, biscuit and a hashbrown. Uhhh. OK. so I ate the whole sausage, mm. couldn't resist. Ate a bit of the hashbrown and biscuit and in the trash it went. Anyhow.. I have hopes that the rest of the morning rolls along much smoother.:p We will see! And... I get to change my ticker yet again. Sorry I can't resist. I now will wait until Monday to weigh myself again. I promise!! (Pssst Paula come steal my scale!!)

 What a bright idea!!! :) I SO gotta try that. hahahaha. :) and knowing my inability to suck it up with a straw I'd get so little of the martini its not going to be worth actually counting those calories!! :D Gotta love the way you think Cassie! lol

Mornin' NewLeaf :) "Desperate" times call for desperate measures! LOL Growing up with my Mama, you always had to find a way around things ... and it stuck with me :p :D

Your mornin' sure has started out on a slippery slope  Blame it all on the cleaner! LOL BUT you didn't eat all of EVERYTHING for breakfast. Thats a step in the right direction :) Here's hopin' things get to lookin' up for you today. Keep up the good work,

On my way girl! :D
Sorry to hear about the cleaning lady... that is so frustrating BUT you did okay on the breakfast cuz 1) it wasn't your fault they screwed up the order and 2) you didn't eat all of it. Besides, you lost another 1/2 pound so who cares about the little change in your breakfast plans! Good job girl, I'm proud of ya! :)

WOW another 1/2 pound you ROCK!!! Sorry to hear about the cleaning lady and the breakfast troubles. Just keep telling yourself...It's Friday!!!!!

AWWWWWWWW! Thank you, you guys!! :) Seriously I could tear up.. yep, I'm a wee bit nerdy, but I so appreciate all the thoughtful comments!! :D

I do feel pretty good I didn't suck down all of the breakfast. I should of probably gone for the eggs, not the part of the biscuit, but too alte now right.? Why cry over spilt milk.. (and this I know, because as a child, I spilt milk so many times at the dinner table, my parents nick named me Spiller McGee. ;) )

Yes..down another 1/2 I am very geeked. Skyler we should hold hands and do a dance of joy together. lol..burn a few more calories right? :D

Oh and one more announcement, last night with oru meal we got our cheesecake that they missed the first time! I took one bite of it and that's all!!!! I put it back in the fridge to savor bites here and there later on, AND I ate my 100 calorie pudding cup instead. I may be sucha nerd, but I am SO proud of myself. :D FH was too!!

Congratulations! You are doing such a great job!

Don't you just hate it when you order and they give you the wrong thing. Sometimes you wonder if they have any sense at all! I used to work at BK for one summer while an undergrad, and it was pretty easy to get the order wrong. Just because they would have one person make the stuff and hand it to the one who passed it out the window. Sometimes I would get in a hurry and not check inside the bag, thinking the other person knew what they were doing. Anyway, you hand great restraint considering they messed up on you. I mean, come on, you couldn't just throw it all away and not have any breakfast!

P.S. I just noticed you posted while I was typing. Lol! Cheesecake?! Wow, you do have great restraint! It has been so long since I had cheesecake, there is no way I would have stopped at one bite!

Go-go half a pound! *waves a pom-pom*

If all you ate was the sausage and part of the biscuit, I don't think that's too bad. Do you remember those McGriddle sandwiches?! Now, THOSE were bad  But... so good ;)

Anyways I hope the rest of your friday goes good, and I hope you don't have to clean up all day after your coworkers!

haha.. yes those were bad.. well ARE bad, they still have them here! :)

Haha, as for the co-workers, well I emptied all their trash cans, and washed all the dishes. That's it for today!! :D I also wrote a very curt yet professional letter to the cleaning staff, becaues I realized we have NOTHING on file for them... no insurance information, nada  so I requested it by next week. :) Makes me feel a little better!

Thanks HH! I have to admit, the main reason I didn't eat the Cheesecake was because of Sid (my FH). He didn't want his, he was too full, so I thought. well darn it.. I shouldn't have mine either. lol snuck a bite because it looked yummy and was cinnamon (never had that before!) so.. plus.. luckily they were REALLY small portions and circular, cup size.. so it was cool. ;) I might even have just one more niblet tonight! We also eat out at Quizznos, a Friday night tradition, I will have to behave. :D

I love Quizzno's subs, but I really wish they'd make a nutrition guide for *all* their sandwiches. They don't have any in the stores (at least not here), and even on their website, you can only find info for 3 different sandwiches of their, what, 20 different ones available? I'm not very good at "eyeballing" calorie content, so I have to avoid them to make sure I don't go over accidentally.

OOh I know what you mean! It is my biggest gripe about them!! No nutrition info.. which leads me to conclude they don't WANT you to know how many calories are in them! :D Oy.. I'm torn what to have. I might just have a cup of soup tonight and let that be it. :)

I love Quizno's! I always get the chicken milano. I'm sure it's loaded, but it's just soooooo good! Don't they have a light sandwich or two listed? I always say I'll get one of those and then order the C.M. LOL!

What's happening to Team Conquest????

They do list a few light sandwiches, but I do too love the CM, its SOO tasty! Mmm. I will try to be good, honest!! ;)

Team Conquest.. I dunno, not many people seem to be posting on our thread do they?? :( We should go kick some team mate booty!! ;)

So I've been toying around witht eh thought of not going as low as 125lbs. Youv'e all seen my before and during photos. I am only 5'3" but carry a lot of muscular, I have a stocky build. More weight is carried on my lower half, but generally I put it on fairly eveningly, while keeping a waistline.

Do any of you think that 125lbs is too low? I was at 124 years ago, and my mother started thinking I didn't look healthy almost. She never voiced this until years later, when I was yo-yoing again. Just curious for others input. Maybe after I get to 135lbs, I'll start looking at body fat percentages instead of pounds so much. Hmm.

i think that is a good start. to get to 135 and then focus on body fat % b/c for a lot of people, regardless of height, i think, 125 looks tiny. possibly consult a doctor or get to the 135 and see how you feel, get body fat % tested and go from there. Sounds like you are thinking clearly about this. I always hate to read when people continuously move their goals lower....so you have your head on straight...you know your own body. again, just my 2 cents.

when was the last time you were 125? what about 135? (in adult life)

its hard to know how much weight to lose - i'm just waiting to see how i feel at 67 or 66. 65 is my goal, but considering i was 63 when i was 18 and i've had two kids since then, well it might be a bit silly. you change as you get older, too. sometimes you look better with a few more pounds.

anyhoo - good going so far, newleaf!

Gosh its been years since I've been down to 125. I would say... 7 maybe. I'm not sure even! :) Thank you for your opinions. I appreciate it! ;)
