a Hillbilly diary

Randy watch that sleep. I know sometimes it can't be helped, but this year I've gone from 5 to 7 and it is making such a huge difference for me.

*in her best Marth Stewart voice* Pepper Spray... It's a good thing.
.

guns are much more effective :D If a dog is really charging at you - the pepper spray won't bother them.. kind like if a human is charged up on LSD - the pepper spray doesn't have any effect.

A few years ago-- I had walked out in the back yard.. and the neighbor's family pet (they had 5 kids under the age of 10), a rottweiller, jumped a 6 foot chain link fence and came at me... Now, I'm not a little girl, I'm 5'9 and at the time was probably about 250... the dog knocked me down and latched onto my arm and started pulling... Thankfully, the neighbor on the otherside of me, a New York City detective, was pulling into his driveway and saw it.. he tried pulling the dog off me for about a minute then basically unloaded his service revolver into the dog... 250 stiches and 10 years later I still have the scar on my arm... for an attacking dog... guns rule!!

    OMG Mal!! I'm so sorry to hear this. I like dogs, but not other people's dogs. This is a perfect case of "if they have teeth they will bite." I hate when people say, "Oh it's ok, he won't bite." Did you take his teeth out or something? He may not bite YOU, but he may bite me!

Hi Hillbillylee!

I don't understand why so many people leave their dogs to run around w/out a leash. If my dog were that dangerous I'd keep him in a kennel if he was outside unattended. Not just for the neighbors' safety but for the dogs as well, because we all know what happens to a dog when he attacks someone, and really it's not the dogs fault.

People who don't know much about the more aggresive dog breeds shouldn't own them as pets. Thats why I have a pomapoo, a proper ankle biter. He is very protective though, but he won't attack. He just barks and growls a little...then runs away in fear, lol.

Oh tell me about it with the dogs! There is one dog on my daughters newspaper run that leaps over the fence snarling and trying to bite me. and the owners always say 'Oh she wont hurt you ... shes a friendly dog' and im like 'sure she is ... TO YOU ... on the other side of the fence here all i see is a 150lb dog with a jaw the size of my head trying to guard his home and protect his letterbox!'

He all.... yea I dozed off about an hour before I had to get up. I'm about to take me about a two hour nap here in a minute.
I have been around dogs long enough to tell whey they are raising hell or about to do something.
The walk was nice though my shins are killing me. I did the 2 1/4 miles in 40 minutes.

Hey HB! Hope you get some much needed sleep tonight. We can't have you falling ill, you make my day with your wit! So here's to a good nights sleep. Have you tried drinking just a small glass of wine before bed? That helps me sometimes.:)

Hello all.. Yea my calories are way low but I'm just so tired food is the last thing on my mind. I have to do a bunch of electronics homework tonight but when I get close to being done, I'll brew me some rose petal tea and it normally helps me sleep. The wine wont work for me, when I have something to drink it normally keeps me awake.
