I'll remember that T2, I know I haven't been eating much potassium and yet I push it on Megan every time she has a swim meet...

I need to look at the day to day stuff :)

Since I'm finally done eating - I better post my calories before I change my mind ;)

CALORIES 1,110 Goal 1410 - 1760
CARBS 131 Goal 159 - 286
FAT 40 Goal 31 - 68
PROTEIN 55 Goal 35 - 154
Sodium 1,370 Goal 1200 - 2400 <-- MUCH better then yesterday!

Hey M2M must have just missed ya but stopped by
to say hey and looks like you had a good day keep
up that good motivating work!
PS go find ya a quarter scale to make your day lol!

Talk like a pirate day?!?!?!

Nuts, I did not know it was (international) Talk Like A Pirate Day.

I knew something kooky was going on in my hometown, but did not know it was widespread. I heard some silly jokes and was going to post them last night. Wish I had now.

Well here's one:

"Why are pirates so mean?"

"They just arrrrrrrrrr"

hahahahahahahahahaha

Oh, and I love sodium. That reminds me of the peanut joke, which I've already posted elsewhere so I won't subject anyone to it again.

It was a good day - but my weight is all over the place this week!
I average 1100+ calories one day and 1300+ calories the next and they seem to alternate like clock work. Sodium has been within range every day but one. I was down 4 lbs on Monday from Friday's weigh in, then up .5 pounds on Tueday and this morning I was up another 1.5 (which still means 2 down from Friday which is where I'd expect to be mid week.) Anyway, it's enough to keep me wondering ;)

As for my walk this morning...I have done the math differently (now that I have a watch that splits my 2 quarter mile warm ups & warm downs.

The whole 5 miles = 1:03.79 minutes, 12:76 minutes per mile

Lap 1 .25 mile 4.13 minutes warm up
Lap 2 4.5 miles 55.57 minutes, 12:35 minutes per mile
Lap 3 .25 mile 4.09 warm down

It will be sweet to get under 12 minutes per mile for the whole thing!

I had to go back 4 pages to find my last post in here:eek: . I don’t think we will be meeting in the middle on our walk, I think you will definitely be ¾ of the way over here before im even a quarter of the way:D . Your doing great:cool: .

Yeah - these OTHER people are a chatty bunch! 0;^) (that's my halo!) ;)

LOL! It'll be a nice walk all the same! Granted, I still haven't figured out the distance to you yet!

Well, gee if people checked out the off topic forum once in a while.. they'd know it was talk like a pirate day.. :D

Hallmark will be putting out cards for it next year and it'll be a big huge event... though some people were wandering around yesterday in eye patches and parrots in their shoulders :D

your times are most impressive... you'd finish a marathon in under 6 hours at that speed - there are some runners who don't go that fast...

Is race walking still an olympic sport?

race walking, now there is a sport I could compete in.
Great job M2M, and maybe the weight fluctuation is accounting for all the water in your bladder.

LOL! You mean, there are OTHER forums out there?

Honestly, I don't know if it is a sport. I also don't know if I can do 13+ miles at that speed ;)

Thanks Iwan, but ummm...with all my trips to the water closet, I doubt there is ANYthing IN my bladder ;)

Oh, and did I mention that tonight's my wine club party? (NOT at my house thankfully!)

That means wine tasting, appetizers, 3 casseroles and 3 salads that I have no control over.

I do have control over portions ;) (Including the wine) ;)

WOW, M2M,

you're walking has definately upped and gone faster since the last time I was here. You are doing amazing! You could do the 13+ if you trained for it for a while, like you're doing to get under the 12 minute mark, I have no doubt that you could.

Ooo wine night sounds like fun!:D

I love doing wine tastings! Don't really care for much of the wine usually but the atmosphere is always laid back. (all that booze)

Have Fun!

No typing when you get back! ;)

No ma'm :)

But then, I don't plan on drinking nearly as much as I did that other night. That night was an evening with close friends and *very* good wine. Wine club is a gathering with 11 other couples tasting a wide range of different wines. At my wine club, I picked three I wanted to taste and literally had a "mouthful" of each. The hardest thing for me is figuring the calories of what's being served, and limiting the cheese.

Urgh!

HI!
I can't believe how much running you do! man! If I could do a quarter of that, I'd be good!

Your really doing well hun!! keep it up!!

I feel like I should let out a low whistle every time I see a new post with your walking times on it. I jog at that speed, and don't go half the distance you do! Quite amazing!

Good luck tonight at the party-- you've done so well with everything else, I'm sure you'll do great there too!
