What do you know...I'm not in the severly obese catagory anymore!
Your Results:

5' 8", 196 pounds.
Your BMI score is: 29.8

Your score indicates you are overweight.

(I'm actually 5'8.5" but it doesn't give room for the extra .5 ;)

Way to go on the BMI score!!

It is awsome that your daughter loves to swim, and is competative at it. My daughter is 9... and I have tried numerous activities, but nothing that she has been excited about, gymnatics, dance, soft ball, basket ball.... There is no swim teams here. The YMCA and the schools neither have pools.

You know...I haven't been at this weight since 1990 and it boggles my mind that I spent over 1.5 *decades* in the severly obese catagory! Geesh!

I've also been looking at the calendar...
I started my weightloss journey on 20 January 06
The first 18 weeks, I lost 19 pounds.
Then I joined the WLF
I've been here for 20 weeks and I've lost 42 pounds since I joined.

On my own I lost 1.05 pounds per week.
Since joining this forum, I've averaged 2.1 pounds per week.

It's amazing what support can do!!

Woohoo! Congratulations on being overweight! (that sounds so wrong lol) 42 lbs, that's amazing. You continue to be an inspiration here at the forum, congrats once again :)

Ohhh...do get back to me on that one...I would LOVE to get some extra calories burned out of this! ;)

And isn't it funny how excited we can get being classified as "over weight"!

Anyway, just waiting for my clothes to dry so I can go for my walk...

Nice Job Debi !!

As hard as you work on this, no one should be surprised.

This reminds me, I haven't done a BMI in forever.

Wooooo Hooooo!!!

I broke my morning 5 record!!!! :)

Total 5 miles - TIME 58:07 (<---I've been averaging 62 to 63 minutes)!!
11.61 minutes per mile
Lap 1 .25 mile 4.16
Lap 2 2.25 miles 24.28
Lap 3 2.25 miles 25.46
Lap 4 .25 mile 4.17

There is this extreme race walker I see every morning - I've said to her in the past, one of these days, I want to get to where I could keep up with her.

Today we met up for the first 2.25 mile stretch and I asked if I could walk with her, but that I'm slower, so if she has to leave me in the dust, not to worry - I did NOT want to slow her down.

She would NOT let me quit!

It was an AWESOME walk - OMG it was good!!
:)

OK - I need to shower, I stink like hell, but I'm very happy!
