Take it easy on that leg girl. You don’t want to bugger it up completely.
Better to rest for one week, than end up out of action for three.
Take it from an ex Army medic and sports trainer. Those sorts of injuries were my bread and butter.

WOW... 53 lbs down is awesome!! I could use some lessons from you on exercise too...

Great job!

Susan

By the time I got through all the responses I forgot who wrote the 1st post! Bravo for you...24 pounds. Remember you're doing this for yourself. I'm sure some people have noticed, but like someone said, they are cautious not to offend to you. CONGRATULATIONS! You are doing great.

2 outta 4 ain't bad M2M. don't be disheartened. you did almost an extra 10 miles of walking last week. that should definitely make up for the cross-training.

good luck with this week's goals!

Wow!!!

WOW!! Your daughter is so BEAUTIFUL!!! How sweet! Hey, who's the lucky guy - you said she has already picked out her husband :D!

I LOVE YOUR GOALS!! That is PURE GENIUS!! NO WONDER the pounds are sliding off of you!! I might have to try the goals thing!! I will give you credit though :D!! You are such and inspiration! Keep up the WONDERFUL work! ;)

PS - Did you go swimming? Do your legs feel any better?

Good Morning Everyone,
Well, I am not walking AGAIN today :(
The shin feel better some of the time, but it's clearly not "well". I even wake up to moderate pain. I think I'm going to take an Aleve...

Kaitie - THANK YOU for the push! You're probably right that I need one, since that kind of exercising is SUCH a chore for me. I WILL do one session today!

Rosered - It's SO good to see you posting, I'll have to go look for your diary to catch up with you :)

Diva - The lucky guy is the twin brother of one of her best friends. He just doesn't know about it yet and would be MORTIFIED if he did ;) LOL!

C - the problem with the 2 out of 4, is that it's the same 2 out of 4 that didn't get made last week ;) I think it's a trend!

Fran & Alaskangirl - Thanks for the encouragement :) And Fran, if you went through all those posts, then no wonder you weren't sure who posted first!

Crebbs & Heidi - you guys are right, I do have to rest up that shin, as much as I DON"T WANT TO!!

Cannon, Mem, DQ & OHD - you guys are always so encouraging :) Thank you!

I've iced it a couple of times - but I'll do that now for a bit.
I'm really stunned at how long this is taking to heal - it's been a week now :(

My friend had them last week, not as bad as you but she had to ice them every night and take a pain reliever. She's much better now, but still has to stretch them quite often during the day.

m2m - What an inspiration!

You are doing awesome! I read the first page of your diary and then a few of the most recent pages. Please forgive me for not reading all of it... 52 pages!! Oh my!

I agree that resting up your leg is a good idea. You don't want to be doing anything that will damage it more.

Keep up the excellent progress!!!
Congrats! :D

We can wait to tally our distance, but man, I so can NOT be down for the rest of the month!!

EEK!

Lol well im ready when you are, just give the word but don’t you go saying I had an unfair advantage later on;) :D

It may take you a little longer from them to heal because you were walking on them.. knowing that they were hurting!!;) Rest up and you will be back at'em in no time!

keep up the good work sista, and take care of thoes legs, you are so darn stubborn! But in a good way!!! By the way your little one is a real cutie pie!!!!
