A 23.5 kg long journey down the scale

I'm doing really well diet wise but the damn scale isn't moving. It's like my body is telling me that it won't lose any weight if I don't move my lazy ass. Is that what it takes for me to lose any more weight to exercise or go into starvation? Today I had 1300 kcal...

Breakfast: 2 waffles with apple sauce (250 kcal)
Lunch: Blood bread soup (400 kcal)
Snacks: Slice of wheatbread (100 kcal)
Dinner: Bun with ham and low fat cheese, apple (375 kcal)
Drinks: Water, coffee and skimmed milk (175 kcal)

I'm glad that you're feeling better and your food for today does look great, I know how frustrating the scale can be but hang in there and don't give up, you're due for a loss and it will come, just keep with it and keep going.
 
Thank you Janvier! I really hope I'll have a drop soon. Even though people have start telling me that I don't need to lose any more weight, I'm still classified as overweight (BMI=26.3). And I know how much lighter I previously felt at 72 kg compared to 82 kg.

Today I had 1125 kcal...

Breakfast: Big bun with cheese (300 kcal)
Lunch: Fish soup, slice of bread, ½ carrot (450 kcal)
Snacks: Slice of wheatbread (100 kcal)
Dinner: Slice of bread with ham (200 kcal)
Drinks: Water, coffee and skimmed milk (175 kcal)

Really binged out on cookies and milk last night. And I was too ashamed to write it up in my food diary. :blush5: Really bad I know. Well it shows on the scale reading this morning, up 1.2 kg. Hope I'll do better tonight, no more cookies and milk for now.

Snacks: Banana, piece of cake :eek:
Dinner: 4 rice cakes with mackerel

Blood bread soup is a soup made with blood bread in it. And blood bread is a rye bread with pork blood in it. I think blood bread is a Scandinavian speciality.

I'm really waiting for a drop soon...
 
Oh I forgot,

I cant believe there are 175 cals in water,coffee and skimmed milk. I haven't been including these in my count. I guess I should start, I'm a coffeholic and have a good few cups with skimmed or semi in them (no sugar).

Only 17 days left and I'm 3 kg from my target. Looks like I'm not going to make it this time around either. :banghead:

Janvier is very much right! 17 days seems both like nothing, and a lot!! 17 whole days is a long time to work towards your goals! You can do it!!

You are working so very hard, and I know you have the skills, determination, and desire to reach your goal!

Not good! I'll be lucky to maintain my weight till Easter as things are going right now.

I see that it's your second day getting in a 60 minute gym session, that's great!! That should definitely help you out! Don't worry about easter too much yet, focus on your goals and ways to help you get there. The gym is a great start! Have a wonderful day!
 
Things are going from bad to worse, highest scale reading since 15th of Feburary. :banghead: Got to get myself together and turn this around. I've been binging out on cookies and milk for a week now. This have to stop. :cuss:
