A 23.5 kg long journey down the scale

Thank you Justina! Yes I'm down again today and down 0.7 kg since last week. I am really happy about that since I did not expect a loss this week after last weeks big drop. If I only could repeat this for next week... I have actually started to worry about a big backlash to come. But so far my weight has been going steadily down lately. Keeping fingers crossed!

Breakfast: Oatmeal, one boiled egg
Lunch: Chicken breast with rice, small bun
Snacks: Bun, small piece of cake
Dinner: 2 small slices of pizza, apple
Drinks: Blackcurrant juice, coffee and skimmed milk

Down 0.7 kg since last week! :party:

WOW! My weight is down again today! 81.4 kg (179.5 lbs), I've joined Club 170s. I have been chewing a lot of gum lately. Today I have come to the conclusion that maybe chewing (sugar free) gum will promote weight loss. At least the chewing muscles get a lot of exercise. LOL But then I found an interesting article today about two cases where people had become underweight because of chewing too much sugar free gum. Something about sorbitol messing up the digestion system. I don't know, maybe there is something to it? The downside is that chewing gum has made me somewhat hungrier than usual, but so far I have not eaten any more than usual. As long I keep on losing I think I will continue to chewing. :D

Lunch: Chicken shreds with rice
Snacks: Small piece of cake, 4 small buns :eek:
Dinner: 18 small pancakes (size of 2 normal pancakes) with strawberry jam, slice of bread with low fat balkan sausage
Drinks: Blackcurrant juice, coffee and skimmed milk

Well I knew it! That my weight would bounce up any day now. Part of the gain is probably due to my binging out on buns with skimmed milk yesterday evening. I'll try very hard not to let something like that happen tonight or even in the future. Well I hope the weight won't bounce much higher than this and that the general trend still will be down. I really want to make it under 80 kg by Easter so I can have my Kebab then. :drool5:

Thanks Justina! Yes it should be feasible to get to my Easter goal. And yes I could write my wood chopping work up as exercise but I decided not to do that, I'll just take it as an bonus like other possible activities: :D Well my weight is still a little bit high today but I have already had a number of peek views and it looks like it will be down tomorrow. Probably had a little too much salmon today, salmon is quite high in calories. Hoping for a better scale day tomorrow!

Ok I was wrong, still same weight as yesterday. Probably because I had cookies and milk in the evening :eek:. I'll try not to edit in any more foods for this evening, though. Already had dessert with my lunch. At least it was a healthy one. When I say small slice of cake I really mean small, it was probably about 25 g. :D Still have to wait for better scale days to come...

Snacks: Small slice of cake

Think I had a little too much food again today. I estimated may daily calories at 1725 kcal. Really have to go lower than that if I want to meet my Easter goal, I think. No dessert tomorrow! I promise. Maybe I should start to have water instead of skimmed milk? But then again I think skimmed milk got so many nutrients and I also just love the taste. Think I just gonna cut a little bit here and there...

Lunch: Baked salmon with mashed potatoes (500 kcal)
Snacks: Small slice of cake (100 kcal)
Dinner: Macaroni cooked in milk, slice of bread with ham, fruit salad with whipped cream for dessert (600 kcal)

Not much happening with my weight, seems stable. Though I hope I get readings under 82 kg in the days to come. It would be so nice to start seeing readings under 81 kg next week or at latest the week after that.

Your weight seems stable though...just very little fluctation - so i guess you are maintaining with the food you are having.

i havent popped in for a while... my apologies. :( lol but you seem to be doing well!! you got to the 170's!! thats awesome. while you went back up a bit, that just means that you are able to get there, and you are doing well on maintaining. i am seeing cake and cookies in your food log again, and i just want to say that the fact that you are able to maintain and keep your treats is awesome :)

keep it up. you are doing well. you mentioned a couple of posts back that maybe the milk is too many calories. How much are you drinking? if its one or two glasses, its probably fine. and its good that its skim (if it was homo milk, it would be a different story lol). but if you're having like 5 or something, switching a couple glasses for water may make a bit of a difference in you calorie count, which may help break your plateau. :) just a thought. good job!!! :D

Yes I have a bit of cake and cookies in my diet. But it is always with moderation, I don't have 5 pieces of cake or a whole packet of cookies like I could have before. Looking At my daily weight graph the general trend has indeed been slightly down so far. If I only can get in some lower readings soon it would seem like I still follow a downward trend.


No I don't think it is the Nils Hogersson guy either at least not the hamster?

Dammit! A 0.3 kg gain since last week. Well at least it is a small gain. And today I had blueberry pie again, not good for my weight loss attempts. Speaking of which, I hope I get some lower readings very soon... :(

Though my weight has been fluctuating a lot, looking at my weight chart, it seems like the general trend is sill down. It is a slow loss but thus far it is still there, I think. I only hope that will continue.
