Have you tried low calorie desserts? I mean, "low calorie" when we're talking about a lot of desserts is relative, but I find treating myself on this is helping to keep me motivated (and away from things like cake). My favourite thing at the moment is to take a serving of low fat Greek yoghurt, mix a dessertspoon of honey in, and some fruit- at most 260 calories how I make it, and I presume reasonably nutritious. I also put a serving (usually about 80g) of frozen berries into my porridge in the morning (which adds somewhere between 20-30 cal to my breakfast, depending on what berries and how many I use).

Alternately, here's a link to my favourite recipe website's search section (I tried to do the search for you but the link messed up when I previewed my reply): If you search under "low kilojoule" and "dessert", and sort "highest rated", you'll get the ones that are most popular there. (I haven't tried their variety of flourless orange cake, but the concept itself is very nice). Keep in mind that this site measures energy in kilojoules (if you're not used to it) rather than calories, so the energy numbers look very high! (I think it's 4.2 kilojoules to a (kilo)calorie) I figure you're probably better off making this stuff yourself and knowing what's going into it.

Hope this helps :)

Thank you for your input Amy!

Well desserts, in any form, should not be part of my diet really. I'm not doing so good on my diet at the moment but I'll try to start fresh after Easter and be really good. :Angel_anim:

Guess I should be lucky to be under 85 kg for the moment.

Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Fried potatoes and sausage with 2 fried eggs, slice of bread
Snacks: Piece of cake
Dinner: Slice of bread with ham
Drinks: Water, coffee and skimmed milk

Hey Tik Tak,

Have you considered replacing some of your deserts with fruit? I have a major sweet tooth as well and sometimes I just up my fruit intake to keep me from giving into cakes and cookies, sure it's not the same but it helps the scale! Have a wonderful Tuesday and keep your head up!

Thanks for dropping by Janvier!

Again I'm not doing so good right now with my diet. But after Easter I plan to do much better.

And this is probably not all I eat today eighter. Think I take a restart after Easter...

Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Spaghetti bolognese, 2 carrots
Snacks: Bun, 2 small cookies, piece of cake
Dinner: 2 big rice cakes with mackerel
Drinks: Water, coffee and skimmed milk

Not good, up 1.2 kg since last week!
