Weight-Loss

I'm supposed to be moving soon, which should help. And I want to buy a new bike that will be fun to ride, maybe even start riding to work again on nice days. So I think I'm just stuck for this month, but come next month if I move to a new place, that could change quickly :)

Best of luck! When you first start it might be difficult to stay committed but once you start seeing results and make it a habit, you'll love it! Bike rides are always a great way to exercise, especially if you are going to have a new neighborhood to explore. You can do it!

I know its a bad excuse, but right now I don't have time for a regular workout routine. I'm trying to get into the position to change that. For example, I don't live in the best area, and theres some pit bulls that run around my neighborhood that never get caught. And I don't like dogs. I have to drive or ride just to get myself somewhere to exercise. I'm supposed to be moving soon, which should help. There's still stuff you can do at home to get moving!! And they're free. Squats, lunges (yuk, hate 'em), crunches, push-up. Any little bit helps!! If you have stairs you can always run 'em too.

OMG I completly forgot monday weigh in! Ive been busy working all day and house sitting, well my weight hasnt changed which is disapointing and expected. Oh well Ive got to hop back on the wagon some time, better sooner than later.

Sooo frustrating, I beat myself all week, and when i go to weigh in i weigh the same, its so disappointing. i yoyo between 208-211. I'm running out of ideas, i'm eating around 1500cals and i only drink water. I'm in my 3rd month, and i have to push my goal weight date from aug to october probably.

What do u guys usually do when you're stuck in a hole?

I added more reps of weight lifting. My weight hadn't shifted even a smidge the first few days of the week so I added one rep of weights even on my non lifting days and I checked today and I'm down another two lbs.

I'm not doing too good this week  the weathers nice (rare over here:eek: ) and i seem to be constantly eating ice-cream. Also i had a curry yesterday and just had pizza...the worste part...i'v only exercised once!

Oh well we'll have to see what the Monday weigh-in brings...i'm ahead of target for this challenge anyway :D :p

How is everyone else doin so far this week?

I drank lots and lots of water yesterday and did 2 hours cardio, got on the scales this morning and i'm down 3.5 lbs!!! I've lost my first stone :D

236.8 today- Down 5.2 lbs from last weeks weigh-in. Down 11.8 pounds from the start of the challenge. Only 6.8 pounds to go for the next three weeks- I should totally be able to do that.

231 today!! Down 3 1/2 lbs from last wiegh in and down 9 lbs from the start of the challenge!! I have 11 more lbs to go in the next three weeks. I don't know if I'll make it. I'd have to lose 3 1/2 lbs every week.

Ughh Im still 169, this is a big plateau Ive hit and its very frustrating, but im still going to continue doing what Im doing, and Im just starting weight watchers, so Ill see if it helps....

Weigh in

I did not weigh in last week so I guess this will be for 2 weeks

Weight today 232.75

So that would be a weight gain for the whole time of 2.5 Lbs.

So just as a quick survey- do you guys feel like 6 weeks is too long of a time for a challenge to be effective? I find myself forgetting that I am even doing this challenge because it has been such a long time... maybe it's just me.

Weigh in

I only lost 1 lb this week

No more slacking this week LOL
