July 4 th. is party time not diet time. Is anyone really going to lose weight the next couple of weeks. I doubt it. Do your best to maintain & not gain. If you have a good time eating don't beat yourself up after the fact.

Agreed July 4th is party time but you dont have to be bad; you can still eat healthy and party; remember it is also barbecue time you can eat grilled food and enjoy...remember if it is worth having it is worth working hard for................nothing tastes good as being thin..........
Ya'll are going to do just fine!!! I agree, If you have parties and such to go to do it. Go have a GREAT time and eat in moderation Keep your head up and your legs moving!! Don't forget your WATER
Ya I have not been keeping on track at all, due to graduation, and food everywhere and being crazy busy, lol. So this weeks weigh in, is a right off, but once things start to slow down I can get back on track and do things right.
Okay, I arrived at my travel destination yesterday. I packed the wrong pair of jeans!! I picked up a pair that was smaller and really difficult to button! THEY BUTTON NOW! They have room in the hips and legs - don't look tight at all.
So that's exciting! And, this hotel has a scale in the bathroom. It's like some sort of message to keep eating well - ugh!
Epi- that is awesome news about the jeans! Great job! I've been doing as good as I possibly can about staying on track- and I still can't fit into anything new. Oh well- in due time!
208lbs. I started working out again today after my 1 week break. I actually lost weight the past week though I didnt exercise. I felt lethargic during my workout today though, probably because yesterday morning to mid afternoon, I had a few beers while watching the Manny Pacquiao-Oscar Larios fight. I also bought me some whey protein to support my rigorous workouts. I can just taste the 199 mark, 9 more pounds n im below 200..first time in... 5yrs.
While I know that most of this loss is owing to the fact that I was stuck on a plateau during last weeks weigh-in and the fact that I'm sick... today I'm at 242.6, down from 248.6. 6 pounds!!! Next week I better be posting a weight in the 230's.

Wow all of you are doing great my wt is right there ; I was not good anyway..stuck with excercise but due to being sick could not diet well and excercise enough it has been a rough week...will definetely do better the coming week.
