50 lbs Down & 50 to Go!

It is so frustrating not to be able to exercise especially during a break in my dieting, but I know that if I try to resume my regular exercise routine now my knee will not heal and that will set back my weight loss program even further. I should not have started jogging. It is too much stress on my knees. What I have learned from this experience is that a moderate exercise routine of at least 45 minutes a day is crucial to maintaining weight loss.
 
I tried to continue my exercise program by biking on my new Trek Bike but I banged the same knee that I sprained across the crossbar so now I have a bruised and sprained knee.

Oh god you poor thing!!! Have you gone to the hospital? its better to rest that knee, no more exercising for you for a while. I hope the knee rebounds soon. Take care of yourself!!:):)

My knee is not that bad. In fact I started walking again today for 50 minutes and I am dieting again even though it is my break week because I put on a couple of pounds while I wasn't exercising but I expect to be at no gain by the end of this week and now I am super motivated for 2 more 4 week rotations.

When are you going to weigh in again?

Probably not until Sunday when I have started on my 1200/1500 rotation again. The freedom of my break from dieting ends Saturday. Then I will get motivated about weight loss again. My knee is almost 100% again.
 
Do you still think you can lose another 50 in 8 weeks?

All I know is that I am VERY MOTIVATED to go ahead and get another 50 lbs. off ASAP. It is possible I can do it in 8 weeks and probable I can do it in less than 12 weeks.
 
Swam for about 30 minutes last night and walked for about 40 minutes this morning. Knee feels pretty good.

good to know your knee is healing! your making me jealous with all that exercise, especially the fact that i cant swim:( haha

Had only a cigar for breakfast. :sifone:

Had only 410 calories so far today. Will have only 1200 for the day. Plan to exercise for at least 120 minutes and lose 2 pounds or more by tomorrow.
