50 lbs Down & 50 to Go!

Lost a pound. I’m surprised. I am not counting calories this week so I don’t know precisely how many calories I had but I would estimate around 2400 and I only biked for about 40 minutes. Clearly my modified rotation diet is working and boosting my metabolism rate.

:auto:

I must say that is impressive. Perhaps your new rotation will work without the binging.

mmm i dont think that suspending the excercise all together is the best idea... u can still do weight training even if u hurt your knee
u can still work out core or arms :p

but keep it up sweets

Sweety,

After 3 months I needed a break.

I am still biking about 40 minutes a day. I am not going to resume weight lifting until I have lost another 40 lbs because I don't want to add any muscle weight right now.

I am thrilled that I lost a lb. since I had about 2400 calories and only biked for 40 minutes. Also now that I am eating more I am smoking fewer cigars.

:iagree:

I agree suspending the weight loss & exercise program is not a good idea.

Had some Swiss Cheese and bread last night with a glass of Merlot. It is so nice to get to eat some of my favorite foods for the first time in 3 months.

Wow, you stayed completely clean for 3 months? In that case, congrats to you, in your case giving your body and mind a week off dieting and exercise will workout for the best, :)

Thanks! My objective this week is to not gain weight and not necessarily lose weight and heal my knee. So far I have accomplished it.

You know your body and mind best...and learning how to not gain weight is just as important ...if not more...than losing weight...I'm sure you will be back on track when your body lets you!! Way to go on your successes so far :)

I read your blog regularly just to see what 4LoFat will hit you with next. Is he/she your grumpy pessimistic surrogate parent? hehe!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! tetemcg!

I couldn't agree more because I have learned as a result of my injury that I can maintain my current weight with little exercise as long as I eat healthy without binging.

:cheers2:

When are you going to weigh in again?

No, I am not going to start weighing in again until Saturday at the earliest when I start my next 4 week rotation. My primary focus right now is getting my knee healed so that I can start my exercise regimen again.

That's fine as long as you do not use it as an excuse to binge in secret.

I tried to continue my exercise program by biking on my new Trek Bike but I banged the same knee that I sprained across the crossbar so now I have a bruised and sprained knee.
