Thanks! Love that Quote!

It looks like your weight loss is slowing down.

That's to be expected I've already lost 58 pounds. I expected the next 50 to be harder to lose. That is why I set my time frame at 8 to 12 weeks. I am still on target to lose another 50 in less than 12 weeks.

I started to jog too soon and sprained my knee so I am going to suspend my weight loss program until I can exercise properly. I am going into my 4th week tomorrow so I don't expect to be losing any more weight for at least a week anyway. Perhaps that will be enough time for my knee to heel.

I hope you don't use the knee injury as an excuse to binge again.

Hey, hey, dont!!!!! That doesnt make sense. You are losing weight because you eat less - and a tiny bit because of the exercise. You would have to do a shitload of jogging to lose 2 kgs. Really, dont use lack of exercise as an excuse to suspend your weightloss program!!!!!!!!!

Katahn recommended taking a break every 4th week. That is all I am doing. I am still watching my calorie intake. The exercise was crucial to losing a pound or more a day on 1200/1500 calories. I plan to take a week off and if my knee heels then I will start another 1200/1500 rotation.

:iagree:

I agree it makes no sense to suspend the dieting.

Not binging just taking a break as Katahn recommended. I've been dieting and exercising for at least an hour a day for 3 months. I'm tired and I need to heal my knee. I expect to be back on 1200/1500 in a week.

Sounds like an excuse for a binge to me.

Weight stayed the same. Since I am taking a break from dieting and exercising, I didn’t count calories or exercise time but I estimate that I had over 2000 calories so I am very pleased that I did not gain any weight.

How is your knee?

How is your knee?

Still stiff and sore but it is getting better. I am walking very little and doing no jogging or rowing until it heals. I have been biking on a stationary bike and on my mountain bike but half the gears are broken on it and there are hills around my house that I can't bike up. I guess I will have to buy a new bike.

Lost a pound. I’m surprised. I am not counting calories this week so I don’t know precisely how many calories I had but I would estimate around 2400 and I only biked for about 40 minutes. Clearly my modified rotation diet is working and boosting my metabolism rate.
