12packAbs Diary

But I guess with a schedule like that...even if I slack a little...I'll still be doing well

And with going to the gym on M/T/W/F...I'm getting a break from work...and I'm not very focused at work lately, so I think it'll break up the day nicely, get my butt outta here for a while and get a good workout in at the same time. I think it's a stellar plan!

True...but I remember FGT saying something that if you're training too hard....

well...maybe I remembered it wrong ;)

ok...I promise!

Food recap for today:

Breakfast: Protein shake - 1 scoop Protein powder (26g protein), banana, frozen blueberries and 2% milk.
Snack: Banana and 1/3 cup of almonds
Lunch: Tuna wrap (tuna, low fat mayo & some relish and alfalfa sprouts) with a baby spinach salad (olive/flax oil, balsamic vinegar), two homemade oatmeal raisin cookies
Snack: Baby carrots (snack bag) and 1/2 cup cottage cheese
Meal: Tuna wrap (tuna, low fat mayo & some relish and alfalfa sprouts), yogurt and an orange

I'll have something when I get home...I'll probably eat something at 8 or 9...but I may make it just vegetables or a salad...it's the evenings that I usually falter.

And tonight I may have a beer or two. 4 cups of coffee today and some green tea...that is a huge decrease in coffee for me! And I actually feel decent...I'm not as much of a mess as I thought I'd be with less caffiene. And I had tons of water today too. :D

I entered in yesterday's food on fitday.com...excluding the 3 beers I had...to see what the caloric breakdown would be...I did fairly well for the day...but for dinner I had two slices of cheese pizza, two cookies and a glass of milk. Then I had 3 beers later on.

Most of the fats came from almonds, then the rest from the cheese pizza. And most of the carbs come from fruits and vegetables.

So you had 3 beers bor 0% alcohol - or did those and the pizza not get included in the totals?

I'm thinking beer should be a free food ;)

Yes I agree that beer should be a free food :)

I wanted to see what the calorie numbers look like for a typical day (without beer)...

Other than the 4 cookies and cheese pizza, the rest is fairly typical when I'm planning for my meals.

These days I'm not eating as healthy as I'd like for dinner...mostly because I'm not home to do the cooking for dinner at this time of year. Yes...I do most of the cooking at home.

I don't think I have *ever* been cooked for.

Well...without paying for it and tipping for it...
NOT that that's a bad thing LOL!

Kilkenny...mmm....Irish Cream Ale goodness in a glass...

I really have to cut back on the stuff...too many calories
