Cate's Diary

First time I have seen the picture, your house is really nice, and I like the mountains in the background. Did you say the rock came from your property?

Your walking is great, probably the best form of exercise.

Such a lovely house! I know that self-sabotaging feeling of wanting to overeat when the number on the scale looks discouraging :(

The rocks all came from our land and are Dolomite or bluestone. I'll try again for some pics...one will have to do!
Thanks LaMa. It is lovely. There is a wonderful photo that I would love to add, but I am getting too frustrated.

Very beautiful house and setting!
I hope to have some other contact with humans, even if it's just a wave.
Yes even just a wave and a hello is sometimes nice. I like it around my place when I can hear kids playing, or see people working in their gardens. It makes it feel like everything's normal...that is until we all cross to the other side of the street when someone's coming our way!:leaving:
Hope the fasting is going well!

What a nice house you have! Great pictures too.

The way I reduce my pictures is by emailing them from my phone to computer, it gives me the option to reduce when I send. I choose large and most of them end up at or below 1 mb. If the photo is still a bit too big I crop it down a little.

650 calories sounds good!

Cate your home is outstandingly beautiful. Thanks for sharing . The scenery is spectacular too . Glad fast day seemed to go ok

Good work!
Thanks, LaMa xo

Thanks, Rob. I'll figure out a better way to resize my photos when I figure out how I'm going to get them all together. I'll get there. Meanwhile, I'll just send them to myself by MMS. That seemed to work fine. Now you may get sick of my photos!

Looks so cozy!! You are so lucky to be near nature. I live in the city and with quarantine, I will there were more nature around.
It is cozy, Misty. I can't imagine living anywhere that would suit us better.

Yesterday was a good day. I got in 2 good walks, one very sociable (from a distance & outside) & ate well. G keeps talking to me & I keep being sidetracked so will head for now.
Weighed again this morning & will again on Friday & will take the average :)

Now you may get sick of my photos!
Not likely, I enjoy all the photos I see here, particularly those of the people on the forum and their environs. Kind of helps me put a bit more substance to the person. And your home and environs are particularly photogenic!

Cate - there's so much in your life! - I'm glad G's finger is mending, and that you weren't in touch with the affected hospital - and very sorry about the family break-up, leaving your son cut off for that time from his children. :grouphug: hugs to you for all you're dealing with...
Your house is beautiful, and beautifully located - the room in the last photos has such a calming, serene warmth to it. and hugs again! :grouphug:
