Thank you! One of the things people won´t believe until I make them feel it.which just highlights that there is absolutely no need to do isolation ab exercises If you doing your compound movements correctly.

There´s a thing I´m jealous of, especially in January! Not surprised you´re one of the few people to use those mega-dumbbells: quite a few members may weigh less than them! The joys of after hours access to an empty gym
Was going to comment about your son being a bantam weight - then remembered that one of my BILs has a BMI of 19 on the dot, has had all through adulthood and is quite likely the fittest of all three.there is a good number of members who are lighter than the dumbbells, including my 20 year old son who weighs in at under 60 kg at 5% bodyfat
I love it when that happens. Well, not the feeling in and of itself but the knowledge of having hit the mark on intensity everywhere that comes with it.I have low level DOMS all over at the moment.
the photo shows the main weights area, just out of shot to the left is treadmills, bikes, and rowers. to the left behind me is the open floor area room and behind to the right is weight machines for those doing circuit training. Upstairs is the Dojo where classes are done. Out the back of the gym is another building where the more challenging classes are done with stuff like battle ropes etc.Wow, empty gym! Your gym looks so well equipped, though.
There´s one many of us struggle with... I´m trying to get better at it as well, and have been for a while. For me it helps to realize that even some people I regard as physically flawless have hang-ups about looking at their own pics. If they are insecure about it it´s just an irrational reaction I should try and ignore. Or get used to to. Or whatever.I don't like having my photo taken, working on getting over that dislike, had a photo taken mid hamstring raise and posted on facebook, it is a position that shows every body flaw there is
join the club... i am just getting over a cold (virus, not the flu). i haven't been sick in well over a year or two, so i knew i was due. but this is the pattern... i run a temp for about 24 hours after which most symptoms subside but, due to post nasal drip, the cough starts and remains for a few weeks. what i have found helps is a simple antihistamine..... deal with a couple of other issues, including a cough I cannot get rid of.
