bmo: Hi ya! ~*Welcome*~ :seeya:
Thanks so much. Just checked measurements and they are the same.
End of week 1, so I have to remember not to be so hard on myself...I'm an OCD perfectionist and I have to work on self-approval and love.

LaMaria: :grouphug: Thanks for the pep talk! I needed it!

Chef started a great topic in "off-topic" re: motivational speeches...

I shared:

People think that a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants.
But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that's holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.
A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake.
Elizabeth Gilbert, "Eat, Pray, Love"

"I send you light and love."

I LOVE the book and movie!
So inspirational to me...The true journey of finding out who you are...what do you like/love....what's truly important and how do you really want to live your life...Finding your spiritual compass and worldly compass -then balancing the two.

Just brilliant!

I will be watchin' this movie again Tuesday and I'm actually gonna take notes of all the wonderful quotes, reflections and milestones.
I need to break free of the chains that bind me and live for today no matter where I'm at... I'm always living for tomorrow and that has to stop.
Wish I could watch tonight but hubby is off.. He has tomorrow off as well...
He likes the movie but wouldn't understand the "pausing/note-taking.." lol :p

Another quote/reflection I love is by Joyce Meyer: "I'm not where I need to be, but thank gosh I'm not where I used to be! I'm okay and on my way!"

Today: 1 mile HIIT; 15 minute Aerobic Mile and then BL 8 minute Blaster/ST with 3 lb each dumbbells(Includes Warm Up & Cool Down as well)..
BL Butt = 30 mins .... sounds funny... :D

Feelin' Good and that's a great feeling! :hurray:
Tomorrow I have to have TIME MANAGEMENT & Balance bc I need to get my work out accomplished BEFORE leaving the house!
Gotta long day of driving around in the car and lookin' at rent homes... I know once home, it will not get done bc I will get right to prepping supper, cooking and then cleaning up kitchen..

Prep for tonight.. I will for sure be coloring and winding down properly so I can get to bed earlier... I will also pack healthy snacks so I can grab them on my way out tomorrow. :) I bought a neat rubbermaid organizer that has several compartments and a space for the blue-ice freezer pack if anything needs to stay chilled/cool.

*Thumbs Up*

Good luck making tomorrow a productive and healthy day! I was too tired for Walking Dead last night but I watched today. LOVE that show! My boyfriend actually said to me "you know there's more to the couch than the edge, right?" because I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat, haha.

I love that "Patience" quote! And I wish I take just a little bit of you´re organizational talent away with me :(

If you look up "night splint" on Amazon, there are a bunch of options. The one I linked might not be the first choice, it's kind of a nuisance to put on, and the Velcro-felt interface starts to wear down. I do like the calf cradling and full foot bottom, but if I replace it, I won't go through my podiatrist, just through Amazon, knowing what I know.

Good luck at the meeting. Remember that those cookies are laced with skunk-flavored jelly beans.

Actually... Those gross jelly beans were a real hit, weren´t they? Maybe my favorite enemies could be persuaded to make my favorite poisons really disgusting for a while.

Oaks: :rotflmao:I know!! Especially that episode! It was GREAT!!

LaMaria: I love it to and need to look at it every day! :);)

LJ: Thanks so much!
Talked to the Podiatrist Office and it's a Custom Fitted Orthotic.
SO GLAD to know that bc I will just go stand on Dr. Scholls Kiosk/Foot Mapping Center and get those for $60 instead of $450 at Podiatrist!!
Same thing really....

Well, my day did not go as planned... (What's New?) :p:D

No house hunting bc my niece went into labor with her first baby. :beating:

My 2nd GREAT nephew was born at 5 pm!! He is ADORABLE! 7 lbs. 9 oz

My little Wyatt Earp! :smilielol5:Told her at Christmas if you're gonna name that baby Wyatt Clay, he shall be called by me, Little Wyatt Earp. ;)

My nephew has a son that is now 6 and my other nephew has a daughter that is now 3.. Man.. I'm gettin' old!

Now, I will for sure send his first Halloween costume when the time arrives, bc by darn it, I will find a Wyatt Earp costume!
Can't wait to see a 8 month old with a long curly mustache! Leave it to Aunt Stacy!

I cannot stand to work out in the late evening....BUT....
I just finished my work out since my day was changed around. :)

Tuesday:

1 mile HIIT; 15 minute Aerobic Mile and then BL 8 minute Blaster/ST with 3 lb each dumbbells(Includes Warm Up & Cool Down as well)..
BL Legs = 30 mins

:hurray:

Talked to the Podiatrist Office and it's a Custom Fitted Orthotic.

$450 for orthotics? Nope. I have them, they were $200 or so. Not cheap, obviously, but you might want to find another podiatrist. I'd recommend mine, but I don't think you're interested in schlepping to Connecticut.

Congrats on the new Sheriff in town! Whenever I hear the name Wyatt Earp, I think of a purchaser I worked with who'd say "This guy couldn't sell bullets to Wyatt Earp at the OK Corral"; funny enough on its own, but he had a loud, blunt voice with a Boston-ish accent that made it 10 times better.

Congrats on the nephew!

My first week was rough too. Sometimes we set the bar too high for ourselves. But keep at it. You'll get there :)

Q: Thanks! Listening to my body at the moment re: switching to my 6 lb dumbbells... Not there just yet..lol...
So sad how quickly you fall out of shape when your routine goes down the toilet!

LaMaria: Yes indeed! They are little miracles!

LJ: They say the cost is re: taking molds of both feet and then sending that off for custom made orthotics.
I could never drop that amount of money on my feet...lol... I feel guilty once a year when me and my sis-in-laws pamper ourselves to a mani-pedi day at a spa and spend $80... :smilielol5:
I would LOVE to come to Connecticut. Especially Stars Hollow.. :DI'm a Gilmore Girl's fanatic! LOL... I have watched that series 3x already!
Would also love to visit Walnut Grove.. I can not even express how much I have enjoyed my Little House on the Prairie bluray collection! April 19th the final season (9) will be available. Can't wait to have the entire series!
;)*teehee* re: Wyatt Earp! We love westerns! Tombstone is one of our all time favs along with Kevin Costner's "Wyatt Earp."
Huge fan of Clint Eastwood as well..(Unforgiving) and going all the way back to Rawhide, The Rifleman and Bonanza! :D

Guess it's the Texan in me?!

Baboon: Thanks! He is so sweet! Love that new car smell! :p
Yes, I sure did! I want improvement so badly I just expect way too much!
I have to remember to stay in the real world...especially at age 42.. I waited too long to start my serious journey!:confused:

I saw that you liked Gilmore Girls and was about to say we have the same taste in tv.... until I kept reading and saw Little House on the Prairie, haha! I'll focus on the Gilmore Girls (thank you Netflix for bringing it back!). Rory and I are the same age so the show was perfect for me. Congrats on the new little addition to the family!

kaplooie: Welcome Back! :hug2::hurray:lol, we do to!

Oaks: LOL re: Little House :p I just love it...I love reading about the old west and pioneer days. I have read the ENORMOUS book re: Laura Ingalls Wilder and their entire family history. The series is so inspirational re: the Christian Faith, Family, Friendship, Making Ends Meet, but most of all LOVE. Walking in Love and Loving your family and others. The series did take part in creative writing and adding to Laura Ingalls actual diaries which became a series of children's books that are real stories about their lives and journey.

YES! The Gilmore Girl's are wonderful! My hubby even watched the series with me once. He calls me "Little Loreali," bc he says are personalities, sense of humor and wit are the same.. :biggrinjester:I cannot wait for them to finish the filming for the Netflix Original * return of the Gilmore Girls Reunion!!
I think I read it will be 4-6 episodes(Like a mini movie event)... Hope her and Luke are married and have a family of their own!

Baboon: Thanks! ;)
I'm feelin' it! lol... Pretty sore today!

Whelp, I gotta get back to my cookbooks. I'm doing a Spring Cleaning and throwing out recipes I have not made in forever or that are 150% unhealthy... Also adding to my Healthy one that is nothing but low cal/low fat recipes.
I have 3 huge 3 ring binders full of stuff.. (I use the clear, protective sheet covers so the pages do not get messed up while cooking.)

Oh, speaking of that... I added some new recipes in the recipe section of forum. :)

Polly, since you liked my Mock-Baked Potato Casserole, you may like my No-Mayo Cole Slaw?! ;)
Stay tuned bc I'm going to see if that same method works with Mock-Potato Salad Soon!

Thursday:
**Rest Day** Pretty sore... o_O
Plus, I feel pretty icky... I have NOT slept well all week..
Between needing a new mattress and hubby's snoring I have had cat naps throughout the night.

Had a successful afternoon cleaning out cookbooks.. lol...Added new recipes as well.
Also jotted down some new ideas re: creative/inventive cooking.
I LOVE makin' up recipes..98% of the time they turn out fantastic and become family favs.
I jot down ideas and then take notes when cooking so I don't forget what I did.. Take a pic/write in recipe form and then print out. ;)

Gonna pick up extra lean ground sirloin, zucchini, fresh Parmesan cheese(I just ran out), low sodium diced tomatoes with green chiles and go from there..I'm thinking a cast iron skillet dish.. (love my cast iron and they are so well seasoned!) Thinking of chopping the zucchini and first sauteing in evoo with bell peppers and onions and then adding beef. There is no telling what all else I'll decide to do..hahaha... go to the store Saturday.
Thinking I might serve it over brown rice. No matter what, I will keep it healthy.. Makin' me crave my Zucchini Lasagna which is an unhealthy ole recipe of mine using lots of heavy cream and ricotta cheese with bread crumbs, lots of butter and so on.. :D So freakin' yummo! :p

Okay, now I'm starving..
