I hope all your worries were unfounded! And that you ate something delicious yet healthy. I've never been to a Cheddar's, but I can imagine the temptations that must be there.

Quick Update:

Been in hospital.. *sigh* :confused::rolleyes:

Friday Morning I woke up with "Stinging" Cramps all through stomach, "other areas," and lower back..
These stinging cramps were a FIRST for me.. Worse than labor! Felt like I was being electrocuted. Only way I know how to describe it.
Then, started vomiting and couldn't stop.

Hubby rushed me to ER.. We thought maybe my appendix had burst.. ??

Turns out I didn't even know I had a severe UTI...(very strange, bc 99% of the time a woman knows and shows all the typical signs of that!)
It backed up into Kidneys. At one point they thought I also might be passing kidney stones.
They got me all fixed up and I came home Saturday. On powerful antibiotics and will go from there. I was still vomiting yesterday.
My stomach doesn't want anything on it. Today is first day I have kept oatmeal down and I hope I can keep moving forward bc If I keep throwing up I will have to go back an they will do CT Scan bc there could be other issues/complications they say/think...Hoping & Praying I will just Get Well!

:grouphug: To you all! Be Back Soon! ;)

Oh Stacy, you are having a rough trot! I hope your system settles & you get well soon, :grouphug: xo Cate

:waving:

Thanks Cate & LaMaria :grouphug:

Finally well...TOOK FOREVER...

Over the weekend I finally had energy so I have been a packing fool!

My plantar fasciitis in left heel is so bad now, I actually need crutches... (one thing after another for me...)
Going to the Podiatrist Friday for cortisone shot.

Much Needed Positive Outlook:
Hoping & Praying during the rest/recovery on Saturday & Sunday my heel will be pain free and ready to go!

I have figured out my Game Plan and I'm pretty excited!

I ordered Dolvett Quince's book: 3-1-2-1 (diet/healthy lifestyle plan) and 2 new work out dvd's with him and Bob.

Shipped today.. We also start looking for our new place to live next week and I can't wait to move and finally live in a better area so I can LIVE again and be able to walk the neihborhood with ZuZu and alone. Man, that will do wonders for my fitness and weight loss journey to be able to get sunshine and move activity on a DAILY basis! The 2 years we have spent here have been horrible! So happy we will be outta here very soon!

I didn't want to say anything, but yeah...you're a mess lately, HAHAHA.

But, it's good that you have a positive outlook on things and aren't letting it interfere with your weight loss journey. You're stronger than I am, that's for sure.

:biggrinjester: LMBO Chef... I swear I could be a gazillionaire if I could write for Soap Operas. :biggrinjester:

Thanks so much Baboon! ;)

I'm a Christian, so I strongly believe in taking responsibility for speaking so negatively in the past, (Nothing goes right for me * things are never gonna change * I'm sick all the time * This is just my luck.......) and being so angry...

Haven't passed any tests or trials in the past, but that will NOT be my Today or Future!

I'm through with bein' stuck at the bottom of the mountain and wondering lost in the wilderness.. Time for me to be powerful and not pitiful! :hurray:

I have been doing a big Bible Study on the MOUTH ....:eek2: Gotta get mine in order! hahahahaha!

Gotta get my heart and mind cleaned out and while I'm doing that, things will look up and blessings are on their way!

I have been so TEMPTED to just say..........."Omigosh..I'm too old for this crap...I'm just gonna eat what I want and I don't care how fat I get..I GIVE UP!"

NO!! Most important.... I feel my age & older bc I am overweight and unhealthy at the moment... My health is going to improve with each pound I lose and by taking excellent care of myself. I care for my family and everyone else with excellence and it's time for me to love myself in the same way.
I'm going to FINISH what I Started!
Plus, the Lord wants me to be in the best shape I can be bc HE lives in me. I have turned this over to Him and He will help me keep the motivation and strength to win this battle. I will be the Goal Weight He says is me.

I have a new attitude!

I feel like putting on 80's music and dancing through the house now.. **Note to self** When heel is well I will blast footloose and boogie down!

Experiencing God: Day By Day (Daily Devotional)

The Living Word

Daily Devotional for Thursday, February 4th, 2016

And they said to one another, "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?" Luke 24:32

Jesus joins those who are earnestly seeking Him. Two men walked along the road to Emmaus discussing the confusing events that had just occurred in Jerusalem. They thought they had understood the happenings of their day, but the death of Jesus had left them disoriented to God and His activity in their world. They had hoped that Jesus was the Messiah, but His death had left them perplexed and discouraged. They needed answers.

God reads the heart and knows the honest pursuit of His will by His children. Jesus drew near to these men, walked with them, and opened their minds to what the Scriptures said about Him and about the events of their day. As Jesus was speaking, their hearts burned within them! As they listened to Jesus relate the Scriptures to what they were experiencing, they knew in their hearts that they were hearing God’s truth. Their doubts vanished, excitement overcame them, and they raced back to share the truth with their friends!

If you become bewildered by circumstances in your life, Jesus can reorient you to Himself through the Scriptures just as He did for these two men. From your human perspective, the situation may be confusing and discouraging. It takes the presence of Christ to open your eyes to the truth of the Scriptures. Have your circumstances confused you? You need Jesus to give you His perspective. Once you’ve heard from Him, you’ll be like these two men, excited to join God in what He is doing around you and eager to include others in the experience.

YES!!

LOL... Love this devotional (like a Christian horoscope so-to-speak)

This lines up with what I just expressed and was thinking today!

Amen!

Sheeewwww... My anxiety is on the high side at the moment.. My appointment is at 3:15 and I dread that shot in my heel!

Wish I had time to color to bring down the stress but I don't.. lol

LOVE my new Dr.
He was so GENTLE and his technique for the shot was SO MUCH BETTER!
Wasn't too bad at all! Thank you Lord! :beating:
:frown: Sadly, my arch is collapsing and the plantar fasciitis is worse/growing. He said I should never walk for exercise any longer...
I just don't know how I feel about that at all. ????? I LOVE Walking and my Leslie DVD's..
Of course, indoor walking aerobics on carpet would be much better than outdoor walking.
I have to learn how to tape my foot though which is going to be a huge challenge! lol...
His opinion is to find an affordable gym w/pool for water aerobics and of course ST.. He also said I can cycle and that way I can still enjoy the outdoors. On an anti-inflammatory for a while as well.
Gotta figure out how to tape my foot next! lol

Oh gosh, you must have such a bad case of it! So glad this doctor made it easier for you.

I'm glad that your doctor was really good giving you the shot Stacy. Water aerobics would be good. I have trouble with my feet too (arthritis) but don't have any trouble on my exercise bike(except that I am currently going through a lazy patch :blush5: )

Water aerobics are great and so is biking. Did he show you exercises to help rebuild stability?

He did LaMaria. ;) The stretches he showed me are helping already.
Today, much less pain! The cortisone is taking hold and of course the meds are helping.

Thank you Oaks! Indeed!! Been a Server most of life and that just destroys your feet! No breaks, no sit down/rest time and run-run-run!

Cate, I hope I can find an affordable gym.. What worries me is Feb - June ( a couple of weeks in July) is the "slow season" at hubby's job and less hours.. The move is going to make a solid punch re: $$ Just have to wait and see. The dr. did say that the Bob & Dolvett dvd's sounded better than the walking aerobics so I will stick with those for now.

Just in time: My 3-1-2-1 Dolvett book came in yesterday and it's such a great read, I'm almost done! (For the exception of the last chapter which is re: Maintenance.) my BL Cardio Crush dvd came to..The other dvd will arrive Monday.. Don't know when I will actually start plan/exercise..
Can't go to grocery store right now bc the dr. said I need to stay off foot this weekend...

Taking it one day at a time. :) I have more to read, work sheets to complete and need to start "planning" menus/grocery list for this new plan.

:grouphug: to you all!

Wow what a crummy time you've been having. I'm glad your over that UTI thing. Hopefully you can find something for exercise until you can get into a gym. I was going to say that it was tough timing with your husband's work being light, but when is it good timing to feel crummy?

I was at a point with my back where I shook all the time from the pain and couldn't stand up straight or walk right. I never thought I'd get past that and now I'm better than ever before. It may not be easy, but you will find a way as long as you don't give up. You have positive and supportive friends here and a great attitude. Hang in there and keep moving forward.

:hug2: Thanks so much Q!

I get the darn UTI issues often bc I need a hysterectomy...My uterus dropped and tilted and pinches bladder. Our ins. is not very good and that is holding up surgery. :frown: Hoping we can figure something out this year!

Bless your heart! Back pain is the worst! I have had pinched nerves and I know that was just miserable!
So happy that is in your PAST!! :hurray:

*******************
Well, I have no choice but to go to store today.. We are out of everything. My foot has had 2 solid days of rest and I hope that will be enough.
At least I will be able to start new plan tomorrow! Still wait and see re: exercise. :)

I hope your foot is healing with the rest Stacy. Take it easy with exercise. If it causes pain don't do it.....please.
Take care,xo Cate
