You can't always get what you want (Athala's diary).

Good job on getting a workout in yesterday and not making excuses! And I think you are on to something there...find things you won't mentally postpone because you are more likely to do it. And while the exercise itself may not be as good as something more intense, at least you are doing it whereas you could have put off the more intense workout. Maybe I need to try that.

Saturday, December 21 / Sunday 22.

This is the update for yesterday (Saturday, December 21).

The scale said 82.9 Kg for today's weight. The body fat measure was all over the place, though, It varied from 29.2 % to 29.0 %. Weighed a little bit later and it gave me 28.7 %.

I can't complain, though! :biggrinjester:

Today was an Intermittent Fasting day, so I had an eating window from 6 Pm to 12 Am. If I remember correctly, last meal was at around 10.
I'm still not counting calories, but I estimate around 1600 for today. I tend to over-estimate sometimes, so I'm pretty lost!

I did 10 minutes of low-impact bodyweight exercises (Squats, modified burpees and the such) and a 30 min yoga session as cardio today.

Did the same workout I did yesterday from Fitness Blender, as well. I only completed the first round (again), was sore today so it was a bit more painful.

As of today (Sunday 22), I'm pretty sore, so I may just do some walking as cardio today, and 15-20 minutes of isometrics, to save me some pain! :willy_nilly:

Weight of today was 82.6 Kg, so I'm back at my lowest so far. Several different measures of body fat again, they varied from 28.7 % all the ay down to 28.3 %.

Today is a grazing day, so I'll be eating small amounts through the whole day. Not counting calories just yet, might consider starting tomorrow.

Take care everybody!

-Athala.

-(Edit)-

Oh! I forgot, 82.6 means 20 Kg (or 44) pounds lost so far!, since my first official weight-in (In the night of August 14, at 102.6 Kg). View attachment 21599

Oh the joy of slipping into a smaller size that one used to wear! I don't think that there are words to describe it!

I am reading a book that you might find interesting of course you do seem to all ready know a lot about the way that our bodies process food, so maybe not. :)

It is called "You On A Diet." Dr. Oz is one of the authors. It is written in a way that adds some humor in, which I like. Since I know very little about nutrition, this has been good for me to read.

Congratulations on beginning to feel comfortable in your own skin. I don't think there is a better feeling in the world...mostly because I am not sure that one can enjoy other feelings and experiences until they feel comfortable with themselves.

Take care and keep up the good work!!! :hurray:

Hello Jade. :)

I would check the book, but it's unlikely I could get it here (Unless I buy it online). But I do spend lots of time reading whatever I can find online.
:biggrinjester:

Still, thanks for the suggestion, I do appreciate it. :)

I'm back at 82.9 Kg for the time being (Dammit!). I don't want to believe it's fat, no. I usually make matters worse when I do that without reasonable time and evidence.

Had a little cheat yesterday at around 3 Pm, a few mouthfuls of rice (not too much) and 1 slice of sweet bread (bread with a yellow color and sweet taste!).

The rest of the day went fine. I did some walking as cardio, and I'm happy to announce the isometrics session wasn't painful at all [Painful as in pain from sore muscles. It did burn a lot!].

Using some rough estimates, I believe I ate around 1500 or 1800 (at most) calories yesterday.

I'm a little bugged about the little spike in weight, but for the sake of avoiding rambling, I'll keep my speculations for myself... :willy_nilly:

Today (Monday 23) is a IF day, so the eating window will be from 6 Pm to 12 AM. I'll probably have another session of isometrics before it.

For cardio, I did 10 minutes of low-impact exercises, and one of the harder yoga classes (which last a little more than 30 minutes).

-(Edit)-

Okay, I managed to do around 15 minutes of isometrics today. I did 20 minutes yesterday, but today's cardio was much more exigent as well, so it's not that bad.

Ate only once today, a pretty big meal; 300g of avocado, and around 500g of ground chicken (I hope that's the right name? Minced chicken? Ground meat ).

Thats around 1400 calories [500 from the avocado + 900 from the (somewhat fatty!) chicken]. Not really fond of ground meat, but there wasn't any other option for today.

I could have stopped halfway into the meal, and was definitely feeling a bit stuffed at 2/3, but I didn't stop because that would have been too little calories, and I didn't want to eat twice today.

Anyways, not much left to tell... Take care everybody! :)

Still at 82.9. But, to be fair, the body fat measure was lower than yesterday's.

I'll try waiting a week before changing anything. I need to fight my impulse to just go and change things once again before enough time has passed.

I'll probably take a little rest from resistance training today. I'm still pretty happy with 4 days on a row. For cardio, I'll probably just walk around a little.

Today is a grazing day. Already had 2 tomatoes and a bit of brown rice.

Gonna make a little exception for today and increase the carb intake a bit. Already had a bit of rice, and I'll probably have a few more carbs later in the day.

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you all have a wonderful day ahead of you. :grouphug:
