Yarm's No More Excuses!

Ah, job interviews. No matter how prepared I ever went to one of those they always find to ask a question I did not think about and get me by surprise. Such nerve-wrecking. Hope everything will work out for you guys.
My hubby's dream is to be a stay at home dad!! He would be so good at it too!!!
Way to go with counting the calories!! And getting the exercise in.

Day 55 (Wednesday)

Just another day in the life :). Got up and knocked out 40 min on the NT. Slow day at work today, so I did a little Halloween decorating in the office. Ate well, drank my water and exercised- its all good! AFter I got home, I started dinner and ran the mower a bit in the front yard to mulch the leaves a bit- its SO DRY! Having a bit of a draught in MD atm :eek:. Resolved myself to creating a Christmas Countdown if Tammy is unable to, as I really think the challenges and support are key in my success thus far.

Looks like another great day.I love Halloween
decorating I did my yard like 2 weeks ago because I was so
impatient to wait for OCT lol! Before I knew you were intersted
I brought it up to BIKINIBOUND about a xmas challange because
I probally will take a break on this holiday challnage(not from dieting)
anyway maybe you 2 can team up and share ideals ect or can have
2 different type challanges like 1 a team challnage the other a single
challange?Just ideals.....
I really thing challanges help ya get to your goals and tthats part of
the reason I lost what I have lost so far so WE need to keep them going.

Day 56 (Thursday)

Cleaning day YAY! . . . NOT. Well, it IS cleaning day, but I'm not excited lol. Another on program day today. As I posted in the Caspers thread, I snuck a peak on the scale and it was down, HURRAY!
Did well today with diet, water and of course, got my exercise in early= 40 min NT. This weekend I may head to my folks house for a fall fun day with pumpkins and corn maze, etc. I'll get some bonus walking in anyway.

Well, as posted in the Caspers thread, today started off quiet wierd with the walk that never happened due to finding a 4 yr old wandering the streets at 6 30 am. Other than that, the day went well. I ate well, drank MOST of my water and did eventually get my exercise in @7pm. Work is gonna become interesting as there is a girl out on maternity leave and the other receptionist (my sister) just gave her 2 weeks notice.

Did you ever find out what happened with the 4 yr old? I just can't imagine that happening to my kids and me not coming by to thank you - or sending a note of some kind.
 
Day 58 (Saturday)

Well, a mildly disappointing day. As psoted in other threads, I am only down .4 at weigh in and was expecting close to 2lbs after checking the scale a few days earlier. Oh well, not gonna let it bother me- I'm like the stock market, little ups and downs but a general trend in one direction . . DOWN!

After tryin to sleep in, I got up and knocked out some laundry and other chores, then headed to my folks (over an hour away) for a fall fun day with the kids. Did ALOT of walking in a corn maze, picked some pumpkins and played in the yard after having a cook out and bon fire. Not a normal eating day, but within my calorie limit anyway.

getting up eat,lay back down,get up take a hot shower watch some
TV and have lunch,take a nap lol wow this is a fairy tale for me lol!

I had days like that before my DD was born.. oh good times.. LOL. Now I am lucky if she sleeps till 6.30-7.00 on a weekends.
Your menu looks yummy and your are right on tracking the calories!!!
Agree with Tammy we all need a day of rest from exercising!!

Day 60 (Monday)

Well, I'm still tryin to get used to this "going to work thing" on MOndays. Got a call from my parents with rather bad news= seems my dad has a tumor in his back and will be hospitalized a few days for testing to determine what the next plan of action will be. Couple this with the fact that my folks live over an hour away and my mom dosn't drive means life is gonna become quite complicated I think. I will keep chugging along. I missed my work out this morning, but was a good girl and got in 40 min on the NT after I got home. For some reason, I only got in about half my water- I blame the whole working mondays thing :rotflmao:.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Keep us posted on the situation Okay.
Don't you hate it when you realize that you didn't get in all your water for the day but by the time that you realize it, it's like 8-9 at night. So it's way to late to try and chug it all down. Otherwise you would be up all night peeing!!!

I did try to follow up on what happened with the littel girl. I called my local and county police and got no where- they told me to try the state police, but after pressing 1,then2, then 6, then 8 etc and not ever getting a person, I had to give up as I was at work :mad:. I'm assuming all worked out ok, as I did not see any story on the news about it, nor did I get a call back.

Day 61(tuesday)

Today was kinda stressful. I was irritated that I did not get my exercsie in early. Also Tuesday is supposed to be my day off and I was not happy to have to work. And for whatever reason, today at work just was a bit stressful too. Then I go to leave, and there is an accident so i got home late, no time to cook dinner before the eldest had piano so we didnt eat until almost 8pm! I did however get in my exercise before dinner anyway.

Day 61 (wednesday)

YAY! Today my door came! Hubby and I finally invested in new windows and a front door, and the door was installed yesterday. Looks nice, and I can't wait to see how much it will help lower my energy bill. I did great with my diet (which is usually the case anyway), but was glad to get my exercise in early and got all my water in by 5pm. Dinner was taco tortillas- yummy! Also, I calculated my BRM and other factors to make sure I'm in the right calorie range, and it appears that I'm right in range. Guess I'm just a slow loser- at least I'm losing !:)
