Wittbound's Diary

We all snack emotionally from time to time. You've been pretty consistent with your workouts, so don't feel too bad. Hang in there :)

-Sam

I think I'm going to go to the store and pick up some green tea extract to act as an appetite suppressant. Last night was more of emotional snacking.

Does that acutally work? And I wouldn't worry to much about snacking, it happens to all of us from time to time. And like Sam said you have been keeping up with your workouts... a little snacky here and there wont kill ya!

I hope your morning gets better!

I don't know if it works to be completely honest, but I'm willing to try it because I can't get control of my nighttime snacking.

Just got back from Dick's. I got a loooot of stuff...

-Agility Ladder
-Cones
-Stopwatch
-Pre-wrap for my hair
-Anti-chafing stuff (haha)
-soccer shorts

So now I have to start doing my whole workout for soccer. And by now, I mean literally like today. Today's workout consists of an upper body workout, sprinting ladders, 18 yard box sprints, 50 yard backwards sprinting, cone agility sprints, plyos, quick feet (ladders, jump rope, ball jumps), ab workout, ball skills, and...that's it! haha So let's organize this a little better.

5:00 - Going to the Y for the first time since I bought the membership to do my upper body workout
5:45/6:00 - Out to the fields to do my sprints, plyos, etc.. Here's the order...
*Ball Skills
*Plyos
*Quick Feet
*18 Box sprints
*Cone Sprints
*50 yards backwards sprints
*150 ladders
*Ab workout

Oh. My. God.

I'm gonna die.

I'm going to have to bring an actual checklist out to make sure that I do everything.

And then maybe 5 hours later I'll get to eat?

Fail.

Well, not completely. I did a little less than half of the whole workout. It's soooo hard. The 150 sprints are ridiculous because they're actually 300. No way in hell can I sprint for a straight 300 yards.

Food was good today. I had some bowtie pasta thing that my mom always makes. It has feta cheese, ham, walnuts, basil, and olive oil. Very good actually...and I had it with about 3/4 cup of cherries. For dinner I had a frozen dinner. Healthy choice. It was like chicken with bbq sauce, potatoes, broccoli, and a peach dessert. And of course I had to have one smallish slice of Eric's Digiorno pizza. Delicious. The only bad thing was that I ate my dinner around 11. Ahh!

I got some green tea stuff. It's made by mega-t, and it's a dietary supplement that I'll take twice daily. I hope this helps my snacking problem. Although I was good tonight! :)

Tomorrow is a running day. Thank goodness. I hate sprints. But any way...I have practice in the morning, and then I'm going to come home and eat my breakfast. Which by the way, the grocery store was OUT of my yogurt. Grr. I got a big package of little light n fit yogurts instead. But after that I'm going to go to the Y to do a lower body workout. Around 3, I'll do my run.

Or I won't follow this at all, like usual. haha

Well, any way....night!

It's about 11 and I just took my first green tea pill. Definitely tastes "herbally." Kinda like grass...

May be going to a pool today with a couple of friends, and if I do I don't know when I'm going to run. They said they'd call if they end up going, but I have a feeling that these plans are going to fall through for today.

Eric's going to Cedar Point tomorrow. Boo. This reminds me though that I think Eric is planning on going to Cedar Point with me sometime next week, and then staying in one of the really nice hotels there, and hanging out on the beach the next day. :) Yay!

I've taken both green tea pills for today. I don't know if they are supposed to work right away, or if it is a progressive thing, but I guess I'll find out.

At the moment I feel a tad sick. Not anything big, but just as if my food is just sitting in my stomach.

I treated my mom to some lunch at Panera today, and I had about 530 calories. I had half of a chicken salad sandwich on whole grain, which is delicious bread. And I also had a cup of garden vegetable soup. They gave me a baguette instead of an apple like I asked, and I asked my mom if she wanted it, but she turned it down. So of course I ate it. They're like 150 calories.

Running and lifting soon.

So let's see...

Yesterday was good. The only bad thing about yesterday was the time that I ate dinner. I got off work at about 10, so I didn't eat until about 10:15. No good.

I ran a little over 3 miles yesterday.

Today I am going to go to a soccer tournament with a couple of the incoming HS seniors. I want to see how good my old team is. :( It makes me sad that I'll never play HS soccer again. Our team was so close, and we were pretty good too!

Any way...it's 8:45, and I am about to hop in the shower. I'm going to take my pill at 9:30. And I'm going to bring lots of water to this tourney. :)

I'll be back later!

The tourney was good. Hot, for sure, but I really like hanging out with them, so it was worth it.

I warmed up a little bit with the team, but most of the time I was just sitting and watching. My coaches were surprised, and I think happy to see me. :) I feel like I fit in more with them now that I've graduated. haha

I don't think I'm going to run today. I'm really not feeling it, plus I got burned today.

For breakfast I had a banana and a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese from Tim Horton's, and then for lunch I had a subway oven roasted chicken breast sub on 6 inch wheat. I didn't even put and cheese or mayo on it. I did get a bag of chips though.

Cedar Point is awesome. Do you live close? I went about 5 years ago I think. When the Millenium Force was still the fastest roller coaster in the U.S

I live in Columbus, so about 3 hours away. The Millennium Force may no longer be the fastest roller coaster in the world, but it is still my absolute favorite ride. It's just awesome. I've been 2 times this summer already. Jealous? :)

Went to see Wall-E for the second time. It's such a cute movie. But my brother got some McDonald's, and I was only going to allow myself one small fries.

Guess who didn't have McDonald's tonight...mmhmm.

Thanks! I was proud. :)

Today was soooo good! Well, actually my food was pretty bad. But not in a high calorie way. I just ate a lot of processed crap, and a lot of carbs.

Tonight I am at about 132! :) :) I am thrilled. I went on a 40 minute run also.

Also, I'm starting to do a youtube vlog thing of my progress. I have a few videos already, but here is the link if you wanna see them!

That's what I have trouble with, processed food. I'm doing a little better with that now. That's awesome that you're down to 132 though and that you ran for 40 minutes. What a hoss!

The youtube thing is cool, I remember last year this guy (something opera guy) would update it with weigh ins and stuff. I don't know if he still does it, i'll have to search for him. But i've noticed a lot of people have started using video updates for their weight loss journey which is awesome. Good luck with that!

thank ya! Running always makes me feel better and be in a better mood.

I weigh somewhere in between 131 and 132 this morning! YES!

Great job on the weigh in! You're definitely making some progress!

I'm so dumb... I can't believe it took me so long to realize this is your diary! I looked at the video (awesome abs, btw) and read a few posts and thought to myself, "Wow... she looks and sounds just like a girl named Kristi that used to post here..." so I went back to your first post, and DUH! It is you! You may not remember me, but I remember you!

Heeey! Yeah, I definitely remember you! I'll have to stop by your diary! And you look really good!

Oh and thanks about the abs...that's one of my main focus points. that and my butt. haha

So lunch today was chicken noodle soup, some carrots, and a peice of bread. Can you tell that we have NOTHING to eat here. Mom gets paid tomorrow.

I just uploaded a video of me reviewing my Nike + thing, so if anybody wants to see what it is or how it works, you can go there! :)

Kristi is totally a salesperson for nike + ipod. haha

It's really interesting though, I know of runners that use that. I always wondered how people would quickly turn it off when they had it on the shoulder strap, I bet it seems kind of a hassle at first until you get the hang of it. I have an ipod, maybe i'll look into that someday... when i'm able to sustain a decent run. lol I'm pretty sure I would fall over trying to listen to music and run at the same time. I have enough trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time... just kidding. :)
