Welcome Sydney...some people are just snackers (I'm lucky not to be a late night snacker)...but you will have a terrible time trying not to snack...but make life easier by having a healthy choice available, and don't have the
BAD STUFF in the cupboard...I don't know if you are a salty or a sweet snacker, but there are options either way...
the best one I have found for salty replacement is pretzels...they are quite low calorie, so you can have quite a few as a snack and not totally ruin your diet. ( think they are around 1.5 calorie per stick)...
if you are a sweet snacker, try having fruit that you like on hand...cut them up and put into a bowl...grapes & cherries are higher in calories, but most other fruit is okay...
if you are just a snacker...try having some cut up veggies in the fridge pre-cut and ready for snacking on...baby carrots & snap peas are a good combo...
but make it easier on your will power & don't have the yummy snacks in the house...if you have to go out to get them, you will have second thoughts about going out of your way to have a "stumble" moment...
My trouble time is right after I get home from work and start cooking dinner...food smells good and the tummy starts to grumble, having a healthy choice available makes it much easier...most of the time...
These tips work for me, so I hope they are helpful for you.
Later.
