Yes I will check out the chat more often! It was nice meeting more ppl.. and this is my second chemistry class (3rd if I count high school).. So I'm just sick of it!! I passed w a B in college but I transfered schools and my last school didn't offer a lab with the class and this one I have to take a lab and I couldn't take the lab by itself.. so I'm just sick of it.. So far I have an A though... hope I keep it.. I'll find out about the test Tuesday I'm sure I'll post about it.. and that is a good idea about telling you when I'm supposed to do it so you can fuss at my if I don't.. I plan on Fri, Sat, and Sun FOR SURE!!! and a couple times a day those days.. and the other I just have to make time to do it in the week.. I just plan on walking for now til I get in a bit better shape.. lol

13lbs!! Awesome!! And my days are long.. it sucks sometimes but I need the money.. and I like to stay busy I just moved back home w family after living in a bigger city for 3 years its an adjustment I'm trying to get used it.. lol I couldn't weigh just once a month I couldnt resist.. lol.. But I weigh weekly w no peeking too lol... well it sounds like your doing great!!! I hope your doing good today.. I plan on exercising tonight.. I'll let you know how it goes!

Nice to meet you.. when I first joined this forum I really didn't think people seemed very friendly but now I see differently... I get excited to next this site now. lol.. And I'm sure I'll check out ur page soon too!!

Sometimes the ice needs to be broken a bit is all. Hang around long enough and it will be.
 
Day 12

TODAY WAS HORRIBLE!! My diet at least!!.. I have to start doing better!!! Ok well today I was at work at 8am work til 2:15 then straight to my other job 2:30 to 5:30.. then right back to my other jobs until 9pm!!! I had no time to eat much of anything.. I had some a 100 calorie pack in my car that I had for just incase and thats all I had to eat and snacked on it throughout the day.. until I got home about 930.. UGH>> I overslept again!! I really just have to get to bed sooner I guess bc I'm never ready to wake up.. and sleep in and don't have time to make my lunch.. my first week was ok.. but I just got off on the wrong foot this week and it messed everything up.. well Im exercising tomorrow!! AT LEAST TWICE!!! Well I'm bummed right now.. So I'm getting off for a little while..

It's okay, Amanda. We all have rough days. You have to keep trying!!! Don't be so hard on yourself. You work crazy hours.

Hey Amanda, dont knock yourself to much about your food intake for one day. These things can't be helped sometimes. Good idea keeping a food pack in the car for emergencies ;) This next week will be much better, I just know it!

Yeah, I have the same problem with sleep. I need to get a lot more of it, and it is so important for the body.

Hows the exercising going this weekend??? Did you manage to get a good walk in??

Thanks guys, Idk what's wrong with me I really want to change! But this week just hasn't been great.. I don't want to keep messing up and making an excuse.. blah.. it sucks.. today wasn't great either.. idk i just get so busy.. I can really forget to eat.. and I hate that I don't like starving myself I know it's horribly bad for my body.. and just stores whatever I eat into fat.. AND I HATE THAT!!! Idk my life is just horribly busy right now!! It will get better in Jan.. when the new semester starts! I know it will.. I have faith.. BUT I'M NOT GIVING UP!! THIS IS NOT GOING TO STOP ME>> I CAN DO THIS>> I'M TIRED OF STOPPING WHEN LIFE GIVES ME LEMONS>> IT'S TIME TO MAKE THE F-ING LEMONADE!! I WILL NOT FAIL AGAIN!! I JUST HAVE TO TRY HARDER.. AND PUT MORE EFFORT IN.. I WANT THIS!! SO BAD I CAN F-ING TASTE IT!! BUT I CAN GET THINGS TOGETHER!! I HAVE TO START EXERCISING.. I DIDN'T TODAY.. EVERYDAY I THINK I'M GONNA HAVE TIME TO DO IT SOMETHING COMES UP.. I WOKE AT AT 11 AT LEAST I GOT TO SLEEP IN BUT I GOT BUSY HAD TO GO TO FRIEND'S HOUSE AND HELP HER DO SOMETHING AND MY MOM CALLED AND WANTED ME TO GO SOMEWHERE WITH HER AND WE WERE GONE TIL 9 TONIGHT.. UGH.. I HAVE TO GET THIS TOGETHER!! Well this started as a post to you turned into a pep talk to myself.. but anyways I hOpe everything is going good!!

I also decided to buy a dress that doesnt fit and hang on my door and it's only one size too small to hopefully I'll get into it soon.. well within a couple months.. lol.. so this is what I look at while I'm on the treadmill.. lol

Day 13

Well today was better.. I still didn't eat really healthy but better!! and I also walked/jogged 3 miles on the treadmill.. and it took my 1 hour and 13 minutes.. not too bad since I haven't been a treadmill in a long time.. I walked most of it but in the last mile I would jog for a minute then slow it back down catch my breath and jog again.. and I did that for the last mile.. But I feel great now that I finally exercised!! My weigh-in is tomorrow.. It was Tuesday last week but I want it to be Monday's but I have a little bit of extra time on Monday morning.. but I don't have to work in the AM.. but hopefully it's not too bad.. last week wasn't great... but I plan on getting back on track tomorrow!! anyways that's it for now..

There is a lot of power in visualization. You're on the right track with both the board and the dress.

I'm going to do that too. Put a dress I want to get into on my closet door. Good idea!

You know, Manda, that's a cool idea. Putting up a visual goal, something that you can aspire too whenever you look at it.

I'll have to come up with a couple and figure out how to set it up for my life.

I orderd Jillian Michael's 30 day sherd yesterday.. only $11.. not too bad at all.. but I'm also on another WL forum and a lot of girls just finished the video and most lost 10+ inches in one month.. not a lot of weight but it's the inches that really matter right?? but I should be getting it will week.. and will start this weekend for sure Maybe Thursday if I get it in time... anyways I thought I'd add that tid bit..

Your dress is really cute! I have some jeans hanging on my door that there is NO WAY I can fit in for about thirty lbs, lol, but its great to have that motivation. You sound like youve been doing a pretty great job already, keep up the great work :)

Great idea with the dress, Amanda. Something in the short-term to aim towards. I have a box of clothes that I love (and used to fit 3 years ago) that are ready for me when I hit 320lbs. I can't wait as my current clothes are revolting. Keep kicking it Girl!!!!

I have a few of Jillian Michaels DVDs. I've done full frontal and backside. OMGoodness does she kick your butt! I love her dvds. I just finally bought a step yesterday so I can do her dvd the right way.

Good for you! Keep me posted on when you try it! She's so cute and adorable in a fiesty way on her dvds. It's like she can see you. lol
 
Day 14

Well No weigh-in this morning.. not bc i woke up late bc i just felt like poop.. but ill do it tomorrow just gives me extra day.. well actually.. weighing in on tues would have been a full week.. monday was cutting a day off..but like i said i have extra time on monday mornings.. but it really didn't bother me.. i actually had breakfast.. a grapefruit (yummy)... didn't pack my lunch not bc i was running behind.. i wanted subway for lunch which i just finished.. cold cut trio on flat bread>> have you had the flat bread its really good!! and baked lays chips.. so far i've used 16 points for the day.. but i still have to have supper so ill stay in my points today... but when i get off work im going to get on that treadmill maybe 4 miles today?? idk.. i have to decide but last night i really wasn't too tired after the 3 miles just bored.. lol but anyways today so far so good.. and its going to stay that way.. also I can notice my jeans are getting a lil baggy.. i know i haven't lost much weight but they werent tight at all to start w and lil baggy actually i don't like tight jeans.. but i can take them off without unbuttoning them.. woot woot also i want to brag some more I'll doing do great not eating the food at my job.. I work in a coffee shop.. we have coffee, latte, chai, smootie, blended coffee, pastries, donuts, and the list goes on.. I haven't been tempted all all by the food.. although the chai tea, lattes have been tempting since it's getting cold out.. they aren't horrible in pts.. i figured it up and to bad.. but I don't want to get in to the habit of drinking them everyday.. just on special occassion but anyways I'm certain ill update this tonight.. im hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow.... fingers crossed
