Thanks, I'm putting down deep.. I don't want to F@*$ up every other time.. I can do this.. 76 lbs in one year I think it's achievable... it's 71 now.. hopefully in the 60s now I'll find out tomorrow.. and steal all the ideas you want.. I just keep thinking of stuff that I really want and finding a way to make it motivational for me.. how do you only weigh-in once a month?? I couldn't do that.. I'd have to know I was doing all that work and something was happening.. lol and I'll be sure to let you know how JM dvd is.. I'll probably post about it everyday... i hear the work outs are tough.. but worth it!! I used to be very active so hopefully it will make me want to exercise more.. I was actually considering not weighing or measuring well I was doing the video for 30 days and maybe i'll have a big surprise but Idk if I could wait that long.. I'm debating.. sigh. and I got it on amazon.. if you decide to do it.. its probably cheaper there.. and I appreciate your support too.. I appreciate everyone's a lot.. but it's different with someone your age and in school and working.. and having a very similar situation.. if you understand what i mean... anyways hope your having a good day!!

thanks.. i love that dress best thing it was onlt $15... you can't beat that right? lol i've been working pretty hard but slacking a lot too.. but this week will be better.. it already started off great!! and do you have a diary thread?? I like to stop by and chat with new people it excites me.. lol and my next goal will probably be a pair of jeans.. possibly a shirt i tend to lose shirt sizes faster then jean sizes that way it seems like im reaching my goals quicker.. its helps me to know all my work it paying off..

Yes I am on weight watchers. I did it when I was younger and i did great on it.. in the past few years.. I have tried lots of different diets I figured why not do what I know works.. lol and I am really excited about the JM dvds.. I ordered 30 day sherd and another one.. it was 5 pack.. i spent 40$ total on both on amazon.. i was happy w the price!!

Thanks.. I'm hoping to fit into it soon.. I've thought about haning different clothes all around the room and getting into them but that way I can seem them all the time to matter where I'm looking from.. lol
 
Hi. I saw a few of your posts in other diaries so I thought I would come and check yours out. Looks like you are workin' your system. Way to stay focused on what you are after. I like your "bulletin board" of motivation. Very good idea. I hung my "before" pictures with out a shirt on next to my bed so they are the first thing I see when I wake up, and the last thing I see when I go to bed. Very motivating... how can you roll over to go back to sleep in the morning with those staring at you? Anyways... good luck on your journey. I'll swing by to see how you are doing from time to time. :)

I'm hoping I have a good weigh-in.. hoping for at least 2 lbs.. that would mean I have 60-something pounds to lose.. and I don't think I could put I current pic beside my bed too depressing.. I have an old pic by my bed though.. so I can see where I want to be.. lol anyways nice meeting you!!
 
Well I had a bowl of cereal for supper.. It was yummy I love cereal.. but not the best for supper.. but I haven't exercised yet.. I'm going to walk at least a mile thoug!! Maybe more but I just feel crappy today.. I think tom is coming and it's making me double over w pain in my stomach... so I'm going to do my best w the exercise tonight.. but I'm going to do it in about 15mins... anyways thats it for now
 
Hi Manda, Quick tip... If you want to check out someone's journal (if they have one), click on their avitar and view their profile. Under statistics, you can "view all threads started by _____". Usually you'll find diaries in there easily enough.

BTW, I have a belt that I still wear. It started off at a 50 waist. It is very easy to see the holes that have wear on them. I have gone through all of the original holes and had to add 2 more new ones to keep it fitting. I plan to wear it until I hit my goal. Then I will hang it in my room to show myself where I was... so that I never go there again.
 
Thanks Karl, I didn't know that.. makes it a lot easier then searching for them.. and that's a great idea!! I don't usually wear belts.. not yet at least.. maybe I'll have to in between sizes.. and awesome adding to more holes!!
 
ok well I just finished 2 miles and just under an hour.. pretty good considering how I feel.. but anyways I'm heading to bed.. weigh-in in the morning.. I'll post it whenever I get a chance..
 
also I can notice my jeans are getting a lil baggy.. i know i haven't lost much weight but they werent tight at all to start w and lil baggy actually i don't like tight jeans.. but i can take them off without unbuttoning them.. woot woot

Awesome news! That's the best kind of reward. Seeing a lower number of the scales is good, but noticing clothes are loose is THE BEST!!

Keep your spirits high and focus on the clothes hanging in the room. It won't be long before they will be on you!!! Yes?!!
 
I'd say 2 miles in under an hour given the way you're feeling is great. I just love all the visual motivators you have between your board and the dress(which is awesome by the way)

it great if you can watch a movie or do something else you enjoy at the same time as working out, you will be surprised at what you can achieve :)

I agree with airmanwifey819. If you weren't feeling up to par and still managed 2 miles, that's awesome. It's when we really push ourselves that shows we can do it ANY other day as well. You're doing great :)

Day 15

Well lets start with the good news the weigh-in.. I lost 3.4 lbs.. I'm now at 232.6.. that means 67.6 lbs to go!! AND 12.6 lbs to my first mini goal. Next week maybe I'll get to 229.. thats my mini week goal... 3.6 lbs seems possible but if that gonna happen I'm gonna have to exercise everyday and eat right!!

I lost 4.5 inches this week!! I love it when inches come off.. and that 11 inches total now!

My measurements

Neck: 14/14
Upper Arm: 15.5/14.5
Forearm: 10/10
Bust: 49.5/47.5
Waist: 38/37.5
Stomach (just below navel): 51/49.5
Hips: 50.5/49.5
Thighs: 52.5/51.5
Leg: 30.5/29
Calf: 16/16

So I'm pretty happy my weigh-in this week..

Ok bad news.. TOM is horrible!! I feel like crap!! Ugh and craving coming along with it.. and the worst.. I had chinese food for lunch.. which has probably maxed my points for the day.. but I am on the flex plan and we have an extra 35 points per week to use as we please so I guess that's mine for the week.. I just have to keep the craving under control.. mind over matter.. and after all cravings are only a feeling.. and we all ignore our feelings sometimes.. and I must do so this week!! anyways thats it for now..
 
Other news I got JM dvd today!! I plan on starting as soon as TOM is over.. I hear the workouts are intense and I'm not up for intense right now...

Thanks, I keep talking myself through it.. my first goal was a mile then I said go to a mile and half.. and I told myself just to suck it up and finish the two miles and I was glad when I did!! and thanks, I try to put it in my face So I'm always thinking of it!!

TOM cravings are the worst! Mines chocolate..mmm.. I've done the JM workouts on On Demand, for being "simple" workouts, I'm surprised at how much of a sweat ya break :)
Great job on the 4.5 inches, thats awesome!

Thanks guys, I do hate tom... and I'm cramping horrible bad.. sorry for the men who read this.. but I just feel like poop.. yuck.. I just want to be in my bed and never get out.. and I'm really not that kind of person.. I'm always on the go but I just feel like crap right now.. and I'm so very emotional today to.. but oh well.. so I'm changing my goal this week.. I know I won't be losing a lot.. so maybe shot for losing 1 lbs or just not gaining.. I know this week isn't gonna be great.. but I'm not falling off the wagon just know what its gonna be like til this is over.. I'm not every hungry today I feel so bad.. and Jess393, sometimes chocolate is mine.. but not always.. and Jes, your right this is a lifestyle change and we can't change over night.. it's gonna take time.. so that what I'm going to give it.. but that's it for now I'm at work waiting to get off so I can go home and take a nap.. maybe that will make me feel better... Idk about the exercise tonight.. If I still feel like this no but if I feel better I'll probably give it a try.. anyway I'm sure I'll be on later..

Day 16

Well today was really BAD!!! :banghead: I'm not even going to talk about it.. All I'm saying is this can't happen again tomorrow!! But maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.. anyways I'm up to bed I have to be up early..
 
Don't be hard on yourself Amanda! You have been doing fantasticly since you started your journey. One day went bad, and that's ok. I have had several bad days (including one with ridiculous alcohol consumption) in the last 4 weeks and I had to get back up and try harder the next day! Tommorrow is a fresh new day, and from your diary I KNOW you have the motivation and willpower to kick back on track! You rock girl!!!!
