Had a protein shake. Lunch was a beef taco and 2 chicken tacos from a food truck. BIL job had a caregiving package for troops so twins helped make cards for the soldiers for 4th of July.

Well I’m up again tonite. Mostly my fault since I did take a nap yesterday.

Midnight I made myself a salad of baby leaf greens, vine tomato, red onion, cucumbers, and feta cheese. With sg poppyseed dressing. Then a couple hours later I was still hungry. So I had a hot peppered boneless chicken thigh with 2 keto seeded bread.

That's a sweet crafting project. A real shame your sleep pattern didn't reestablish itself after that solid sleep but it often needs a while of being very consistent with when you get up.

Today I woke up early. I had to clean my kitchen and do dishes.

Tomorrow I have an appt at 11. Taking my bro with me. We have some paperwork to sign.

My sister I is leaving on Fri. She is leaving the twins with sis A. But I have to take them to and from school and their activities. So tomorrow I’m going by sis I so she can write down everything that has to happen in the next week while she is gone.

I already asked about the life jackets for the twins but she said they don’t need them anymore. The pool opens here on Sat. Maybe I’ll get some floaties. Not sure if that’s allowed in pool.

Yes, Llama, the kids had swimming lessons for 5 or 6 years. They can swim on their own now. But I still worry about them. I bought some pool inflatables for them. Should arrive on Friday.

Lunch was a salad. Of baby crisp lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onions, and lite ranch one tbls. Had an air fryed boneless chicken thigh. Dinner was stir fry steak. Had another salad.

Walked on treadmill for 20 min AF. Walked outside my condo for 10 min. Went for a 40 min walk around Castle Trail. I was extra careful around the puddles. I don’t want to fall again.

If they had swimming lessons that long inflatables shouldn't make a difference anymore. Keeping an eye on them is always good, especially when the water is crowded, but any kind of floatation device should just be a fun toy at that point.
 
Can you swim Vic? Are you worried that if something happens in the water you may be unable to rescue them? Is this a private pool or are there lots of other people about? Sorry for all of the questions. If you can swim & you keep a good eye on them they should be safe.
 
Yes, I can swim. And it’s a small pool. I’m not sure how many people will be there. First time since I moved. And yes I’m scared that I won’t be able to rescue them and I would be at fault. I hate having to be responsible for kids.

Oof, I feel that. I love playing with kids, but only when there's a responsible adult around in case there's an unforeseen issue. Which is nonsense: I'm going on 44 and I'm quite capable, but children are the most precious thing anyone can have and even the slightest possibility something might happen terrifies me. One of the families I used to babysit for (which I hated, because of the above, but we're a large family and when you're the right age and available that all there us to say) lost their oldest son to SIDS just before his first birthday (and then had 4 more kids, which were the ones I babysat). I never sat easy babysitting anywhere but that was the worst.

It’s 330 am and I’m still completely awake. I’m supposed to get up in 2 hours. Did not sleep at all! I’m not going to nap today. Hopefully I sleep at a decent time tonight.

Ate some steak just now. Hungry cuz I’m up! Had an over easy egg. Lunch was a bone in baked chicken thigh. Dinner was a salad and some steak.

I think I’ll do like a keto type diet. I’ll try anyway. Made rice yesterday and I didn’t have any. Have keto bread but I might put it in the freezer.

Just protein and a salad. Maybe some other frozen veggie. Got some cauliflower rice and green beans. Roasted some boneless thighs in my oven. First time using my oven.

Did a 20 min treadmill AF video. Have to start getting dress at 545 am. Sunrise is at 513 am. Did 15 min of a treadmill AF video. Walked 45 min at CT.

Since my sis I is gone we will not be getting together this oweekend. So I have plenty of time to do my new keto diet.

Ended up taking a quick nap. Period ending tomorrow.

Drinking plain water for the rest of the day.

I hope that I can sleep around 10 pm or so tonite.

Yeah, Cate. I don’t know what to about it. I need to get on a schedule. I have insomnia. The only thing that used to help was ambien. I hope I can go to bed at 10 tonite. I have nowhere to go in the morning so I’ll just sleep in… I wonder what time I’ll fall asleep tonite.

I’m lucky that I don’t have much to do during the day time. Cate, looks like you do a lot during the day so not sleeping prob sucks. Hopefully we will get sleep tonight.
 
Yay!!! Finally slept before 10 pm. Woke up at 5:30 am. Feeling so good. How was your sleep, Cate?

Did a 45 min treadmill AF video in the morning. In the evening I did another 1.5 hrs on treadmill; 45 min on AF and 30 min watching YT videos.

Have to take my bro to the dispensary this morning. My sis A will take kids to martial arts. Then this afternoon is the pool. Have the inflatables. Just have to blow them up.

Having a Greek 0% yogurt for breakfast. And coffee with almond milk and Splenda. This time I’ll only use 2 packets. Having some beef for midmorning snack. Going to drink more water today. Early lunch was some beef and one plantain piece. Well ended up eating a slice of banana bread with chocolate chips. Yum! Dinner was cauliflower rice with peas and carrots and a spicy chicken thigh. After my workout I had a protein shake of ice, almond milk and chocolate protein powder

Went to the pool after lunch with kids and my sis A. Freezing cold even though a hot day. I jumped in and got out quickly. Ended up at my sis I hot tub. M came too.

I hope I can fall asleep around 10 pm again.

Well it’s 1130 pm. Still wide awake. I hope this isn’t an all night being up again. Now it’s 3 am and still up. Drinking 2% milk.

Had some rice and curry chicken for an early breakfast. Leftovers from before.

When the grocery store opens. I have to get some salad stuff.

5 am and it’s raining. Have to change my plans and workout inside. Actually the rain stopped and I hiked 2 hours at Winnik. This evening I did 45 min treadmill AF and 75 min on YT.

I slept 3 hours! Yay!!! No napping today.

Today I’m fasting until I get too hungry.

Cannot fall asleep again. Moved to the living room. Maybe this will work.
