Yeah, gyms are expensive. I wish I could afford to join one, but I'm lucky to have a small exercise room at our apartment complex anyway. It's something. And I don't blaim you for not wanting to get up at 4! I get up at 5 to exercise and that's bad enough! Hmm... maybe throw the kids on your hubby next time he falls asleep? ;)
 
I hear the same complaints from my hunnie when he is working. That he's too tired to do the dishes or cook dinner because his work is more physical - I just wish he could experience what I do in a day because sitting at a desk all day is tiring and staring at a computer is hard on the eyes and head sometimes. My hunnie's repsonse is just let them sit there and I will do them later but later is tomorrow and I can't stand to see them sit there that long and then they are harder to clean. I can't imagine what it will be like when we have kids!
I agree with Mizzie that running around after kids is a work out and cleaning too! So don't feel so bad for not getting a "real" workout in every day. I think you are doing great for the situation you are in. Hopefully your daughter will start to go to bed earlier and then you will get your "you" time! One day at a time. Ok so today is weight day and I am at 183.0 so it's a loss from last week but I was hoping to be closer to the 170's especially since TOM ended oh well, a pound loss is a pound loss. I didn't work out every day, I have been really good with my eating so all in all the week wasn't so bad! Yesterday at lunch I didn't get to walk it looked like rain and I didn't want to start walking down the bike path and then it starts to rain and have to stay a couple of hours in my wet clothes. I did go out and run/walk, I map out a 2 km route for myself the first km is on the main st and I did some strech before leaving home then walk fast for the first km (I do not want to run in front of people yiet) Then when I got to the back RD I ran maybe 1 min then walk until I could catch my breath I did this until I got home. One of the street on my route goes in between the church and the cemetery I maped out the rd during the day not thinking there are no street lights on here anyways last night is the 2nd time I run there and all of a sudden a group of people come out screaming from behind some of the graves! Holy Cow I thought my heart jump out of my chest LOL Stupid Teenagers lol! Tonight I am gonna go on the rd behind the cemetery it is much better lit lol!!! Less chance of getting a heart attack. I did the 2 km in 30 min (is that good or bad??) Once I got home I did my abs routine and then worked out my arms and legs (My legs hurt so much right now, but the good kind not the bad). I will go running again tonight, Saturday and Sunday but I will have to find another way to do Cardio next week cause the hubby is working the night shift! Too bad he can't be home for a 30 min so I can go run and then go back to work lol
I will have to fight temptation this Saturday since we are joining a group for a UFC, There is always lots of crap food for those but I will bring vegi and dip and some fruits too so at least I get munch too mabe hummus with those vegie so I get extra protein I like this idee. I will let you know how it goes!

Good afternoon!!! I was too busy at work this morning and I still have lots to do but I wanted to check in!!!

So this weekend I remained healthy foodwise and I went running on Friday and Saturday I couldn't last night cause it was raining! I did abs arms and leg workout on friday but not saturday or sunday but I will tonight. I didn't walk at lunch since it's sorta looking like rain....I am going to attemp running up and down the stairs for my cardio!! Hope I don't fall.

Lol!!! the ground is still a bit on the cold side...but yes that would have been great!!! I got a good laugh out of it too,(after my heart stopped racing!) I probably would have done something like this, if I had lived close to a cemetery as a teen!
 
Good work with the running and sticking to the healthy eating this weekend!! I think you are totally on track and making great progress - keep it up Veronique!

Hello. I will have to make this quick they are really making me busy at work this week!! Yesterday I did mabee 15 min workout! No great but since in the past couple of days I barely sleep one day in a row I will take it as an accomplishement. My baby boy is teething and he is cryin day and night and the darn teeth aren't comming out, i had it so easy with my daughter for that.she would cry once and then teeth would be there. It's only a phase right????

Hello and good afternoon!!! Wow I have been busy at work in the last two weeks I don't even have time to come online annymore, I shouldn't complain at least the days go fast. Last night I did have a good workout while watching biggest looser (I felt guilty trying to just sit and watch the show, I had to work out too) I can't beleive the amount of weight they loose in a week...I want to go to that ranch!!! Ok I did running up and down the stair during the commercial breaks! I was only able to do 10 reps each time (10 times down, ten up) and my legs felt like jello and my heart was trying to beat itself out of my chest. That is what I call a workout lol!! Besides that I did arm, abs and I some leg workout, I will try to do the same tonight I would so love to see the 170's this week!

So last night I ate good but no workout, I just to beat thankfully my son didn't wake up once last night so I was able to sleep well, first time in weeks:hurray: I have to get in a really good workout tonight I would love to see 179lb on the scale but that means a 3lb lost and I am not supper confident that this could happen this week, but that is what I am aiming for this week I have had enough of the 180's time to move on down!!!!!!

Happy friday everyone!!!! Yesterday was very stressful a girl at work got fired so that kind of soured the mood, being at reception I kind of saw it comming and tried to clue her in about being late and missing so much work, but since I also have to be discreet about conversation I hear, it's easy to misunderstand when the conversation are around you but your are not really a part of them, annyways I couldn't just go to her and say hey straithen up I think you are getting fired, it was sad but I am sure she will find a better workplace then here!


It's friday wich means I weighted myself this monring! :hurray: I am at 181.2
almost a 2lb so I am very happy with it. I would have been nice to see 179 but mabe next week! If I go down to 175 by the 3rd week of April I will be back to where I was before I go pregnant with my son, wich was somewhere in April 2007, and by May I would love to be in the 160's since I will be celebrating my 4th wedding anniversary on the 27 it would be nice to be the same weight (sure the hubby won't really notice that but I sure will, mabe I could try my dress on!)

Last night I didn't work out. Hubby's was home since he worked on Sunday last weekend he got a day off in the week and when I got home he had bought everything to make Margaritas (my in laws came back from Mexico with tequilla ) and after the kids where in bed I figured I will have one then do my workout! It's been too long since I drank I was tipsy after half the glass! lol I used to be able to drink so much more ( I once drank 1 little bottle of tequilla strait all to myself and was barely tipsy, that is what happend when you have kids right???)

Salade I will put my dressing on the side and dip my fork in it appenrently when you do that you get all the tast of the dressing but use only a fraction of what would be used if you put the dressing on the salad.

I am hoping to get a chance to go for a run on Saturday and Sunday but since weekend can be sort of crazy I don't know!

and since winter made a come back -21 degrees outside
I am not walking at lunch!
 
Doesn't the return of the cold weather suck? I was so excited for Spring and it feels like Winter here again. I think we are even supposed to get snow this weekend. Great work on your weigh-in!!! I hate that winter is back......but we have to admit for the month of March that was really exeptional weather and I am glad we got it but this -21 is more what we usually get so I guess we have to take it and hope that spring returns for good soon and I am beggin mother nature for a normal hot summer not a rainy damp one!
