ITA that the weightloss and kids combination is a challenge!
The worst is sleep- Sleep is really important to good health and gives you the strength to hold up under the stress of calories deficit and exercise.
When my kids were little, I barely had any time to myself. It was hard to exercise or rest properly.
Now that they're older, it's easier, but not a piece of cake (LOL!) I still need to spend time with them- mainly driving them around places, it seems. And I have to cook huge meals for them and their many friends (which I love, but sometimes it's hard not to eat the pizzas, cakes and other goodies that i make!)
Anyway, I SO know what you are going through!! Like you, I love having kids, but it really demands sacrifices of us. And having a husband that's ...not very helpful? Been there, too.
I think it's great the way that you keep going, despite the difficulties.
And no gain during the TOM is great! (I always just avoid weighing in then, as it makes me so mad!)
