Véronique Chapter 3 the 170's one last time!

How do you make a vegi taco salad? Saw someone else post about it recently and wondered how you would make one? I've never heard of it before!
 
I use a meat substitute ( so sorry about the spelling) like tofu, or vegie ground round and use taco seasoning when cooking it ( when using tofu I freeze it first and then I once thawed I remove all water I queeze it like a sponge I prefer the texture that way....I add tamari or soy sauce to the toffu to add a bit of flavor and color to it) I just put it on a salad and voila veggie taco salad!

ok so monday was a holiday and my food choices where not the best but I ate junk in small quantities it's still junk but at least I was able to stop before I over did it!

breakfast

egg, cheese on two none buttered toast
coffee
donut *the kids brought it to me in bed they where so proud I couldn't disapoint them!

Lunch
nothing

Uless you count 1 Mr freeze the small ones and a hand full of chips follow by some pop a few sips.

Diner
home made rosted chicken with 1/2 a cup of rice with oignions and carrots on top.

then another couple of handfull of chips with a few sips of pop.
no water :(


today

12 grain bagel

lunch
1 frozen meal kong pao chicken from VH didn't check the calories it was a last minut choice (if you call craking open the freezer and grabing a box with out looking a choice)


snack
1 sm coffee
1 cup of cherries.

Diner
thai wraps (chicken , lettuce, some cheese, red pepper in a whole wheat bun with a bit of spicy red pepper sauce)
about 2 cups of cherries.

snack
strawberries
as you can see I have major surgar cravings but I am trying to satisfy it with fruits instead of something processed.

I have drank about 1/2 of a litter of water today and am planning on drinking the rest of that liter before bed time ....I better hurry
My work out today was mowing the lawn!
 
Hello forum friends

Ok so I have been away a few days mostly cause I was exausted the copy machine was off line for a week and I had so much work to catch up on...I am loving the new job still and reallly hoping that the 6 weeks turn permanent in September!

Food wise I was doing ok until PIZZA on thursday and thai on friday(celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary) had a bit of wine too.

Tonight I am having a vegi burger 1 and a salade I will weight in the morning cause friday morning I got up late and didn't have time!

will be back on here monday!

So the weekend was a wash veggies burger, home made poutine (fries where made from real potatoes and baked into oven not fried) Chiness food on Sunday.....The only up side is that I ate a tones of veggies on the burger and had lots of veggies in the chinesse grub. Also drank lots of water and danced for 2 hours straight on Saturday evening hubby had to go help out his brother and I stayed home with the kids and got bored so I turned on the I pod and danced.,...my legs are really feeling still today!

I know I will get hungry later I made a salade to eat with diner but was too full to eat it so that will be my snack so I get some veggies in there


I want to find a easy recepie for hummus I don't like the store bought and it would be a great lunch with some veggie sticks!
in other good news I got asked to work one extra week!

I need to go if I want to go for my 3 KM walk / run!

ok so today was freaking hot...I don't want to complain cause I complain so much about the cold but wow compared to last week!

So today I had to get the breaks changed in my van there where like none left....and I found out the front driver side ball joint is in the process of breaking....crap....couldn't that only happen in october...that is when we are planning to buy a newer car...still it's cheaper then 2 months of payement on a new car it will have to do for now! I dropped off the van at lunch at our usual mechanic across town from where I work...they where supposed to drive me back to work but I got there on ther're lunch break no one was there so I walked back to work wich left me very little time to eat...not that I was hungry after spending the morning xeroxing in a very hot room I drank 4 X 32oz of water between 8 - 12 so food today is a little weird!

90 cal pack of caramel crispy mini's

4oz chicken breast
2 cups of sauteed mixed vegies ( peppers, mushrooms, oignions, zuccinni and another vegie who is like a zuccinni but yellow can't think of the name)

exercise....I walk across town at lunch in tongs sandals ...the payless version of the shape ups...my legs are not liking me much this evening!

I will do some crunches and some weight lifting after this!
 
So I didn't work out yesterday....I just to darn tired!

I weighted in at 182.2lb so that is a 2lb loss since my last weight in I am going to be happy with that!

I was outside all day helping my mom plant her vegetable garden and running after the kids! I am exausted !
Drank gallons of water today I think...didn't measure but it was hot so I drank lots of water :)

it was a familly reunion for my mother in laws bday she chose KFC
I had 2 chicken breast one with the skin off, a hand full of fries and a table spoon of mac salade
1 tiny glass of pepsi

no snacking I was full
drank about 32 oz x2 of water

food choice where not great but I could have doner worst!

poutine with some chicken thrown in
(over slept in the morning and too lazy to walk further for a healthyer choice)

I think on sunday it was a mixture of being over tired and stressed about money ( still haven't gotten my first pay check) and the heat!

Once I ate the crakers I felt better until the junky super that is!

with salad (mixed greens, red cabbage, shreded carrots, red oignion)
cherry vannilla yogourt

a hand full of salsa verde rice chips

diner will be an egg white, vegi and cheese omelette
with 1 or 2 toast

I am ok with todays food....probably should have done with out the chips but I ate them I enjoyed them and I refuse to be sorry about eating like 6 rice chips. I think TOM is on the way..I am feeling extra snacky.....gotta wacht it..in a couple of days I will have my very first pay check and will buy plenty of fruits to cover those surgar cravings of mine! I drank 32oz X 3 so I am getting better at drinking my water!....I need to pick up the exercise big time I am planning a sweat session tonight...once I am done I get to give my self a much needed pedicure...at home one for now....once I touch 169 my reward will be a pedi...even if it's mid december don't care!
 
yeah it is so annoying when you have to wait so long to get paid when you start a new job. I once had a job that paid me two weeks a few days after I started lolol I was so shocked!

Food looks good and glad to read that you are feeling better.
