or a greek salad depends on what happends once I am hungry


drank 4 X 32oz of water....it was so hot I think I could of drank more!
I may attempt working out it will depends on when my hiccups stop (1 hour and no sign of stoping) and on the heat!
 
what does the veggi Shepard pie have?

I make it like a meat sheppard pie but I replace the beef with tofu.

I always freeze my tofu before cooking it I prefer the texture and once it's tawed out I squeeze the water out of it like a sponge...and then I put it in a food processor...cook it in a pan with a bit of olive oil, 1 oignion and 2 branches of celerie...then once it's warm I add a bit of soy sauce to color it (makes it look better and gives it taste plust don't have to add any salt) then I topp it with corn and mashed potatoes

I have been away for a few days ....just busy. Food has been decent even ok. I did exercice in the form of playing at the park with the kids and walking over to the parc....I even raced my dog a few times.....needless to say he won everytime.

I won`t log the foods of the weekend cause my food diary (the hard copy is at home and I am at work so I will just start with todays)

coffee ( home made..so 5% cream instead of 18% like Tim`s coffee)

1 vegie and chicken brochette and one all vegie brochette
(about 3oz of chicken breast, red and green peppers, oignions, mushrooms)
some crispy mini caramel flavor (tom is here and I want surgar!)
Ok so at lunch after being on here I decided to go for a walk I did about mabe 2 km or close to that in 40 min! It kind of reminded me of my job last year in the city when I would walk 45 min of my lunch hour...that is the only thing I miss about that job the nice bicycle path along the river!...I do miss some of the people but I am still in contact with them!

I am very stressed this week...I have barely enough money to pay the sitter this friday and payday is not until the 24th. Food is probably not gonna be the best...not because of the stress but because I don`t really have money to buy fruits and veggies so I will have to make with what I have a t home .

I am trying out this new website don`t know if I am suppose to post that on here but it helps count calories so I started yesterday I will let you guys know how it works out for me...I am still going to post on here.. for me loosing weight is emotional as well as physical so I need my venting space as well as support and motivation from others so hopefully these two sites combine will be the tools I need in order to succeed in my weight loss.

will be a vegie omelette (yesterday I ended up eating 2 cups of cereal instead) I have about 500 calories left for the day and it`s just 12:29 and I am so hungry...it`s TOM I am hungry 24/7 during that week and I want to eat everything in sight but so far I am resisting!
 
I think it's a great idea to have somewhere to keep track of calories etc. Fitday is another good site. I use a local Aussie site, where they have all the local brands. I find if I have a loose plan for the week's menus, then enter my planned day's food in every morning, it's easier for me to stick to my day's plan. But then, I could just be obsessing a little. ;)

I am finding it very challenging to resist....but it helps that I am broke so I go to the store to buy neccessary stuff only so there is a lot less junk in my house!

I find myself suprised at a lot of food I tought where low cal are not and vice versa...I was not counting cals before and I am finding that I was eating way too much...this week I am struggling to stay with in my aloted calories and I am hopping that once I have money and can buy heathier stuff that I won`t be hungry all the time....also I have to get used to the lower calorie intake that I eat...I will give it a few weeks and if I am still hungry I am gonna up my intake a bit....Planning is good!

I might not be able to be on here everyday...my pc at home craped out on me
I think it`s the hard drive...not sure I will try a few fixes tonight and if they don`t work I will either waite a few months and if I have the money go for a laptop...or replace the hard drive...it`s a 5yrs old pc so I know there is better technologie out there.....wish me luck

I weighted in at 183.6 this morning so the is a 3lb loss....I am happy but also know that since TOM was around last friday it`s not exactly a loss....but I am hoping to see similar results next week with the help of the lose it web site!

lol when described this way not so apitising..I wishe I could picture it that way. Yes I am still eating poutine..but I now go for smaller size and I don`t eat it once a week anymore....last friday was just what the office was going for I would have prefered asian!
 
Ok so the weekend went well I finnaly took out all my summer clothes and put away the winter clothes..I just have to wash the winter coates and store them at my moms hopefully this gets done by september lol!


my eating was good and I went walking with the kids a lot we went to the park I was even confident enough to step on the scale on a monday morning
and it read the same as last friday :) Here is to a good week! :cheers2:

Hello Forum friends

ok so yesterday I went over my alloted cal by 36 all because I decided to have to wine with diner,,,and then a second glass :S I am feeling it today...I don`t usually drink alcool during the work week, but I don`t get why I have a head ach I can usually get away with drinking a whole bottle to myself..On occasion lol not often) I wonder why 2 glases would give me a head ach...or mabe my iron is just too low or it`s because I haven`t had pepsi or any soft drink since last week...also this week I cut out processed surgar a lot.

Yesterday I ended up having rasberries and a mango as a snack, with yogourt. I drank all my water and no take out! No exercise unles you count clearing my freezer and fridge...I need to finish this tonight...I will also clear the pantry of all junk food or stuff past expiration date.. they are just taking much needed space.

I will try to go for a walk with the kids after diner before bath time if I can fit it in! 2 km while pulling 60lb should burn some cals!

You are doing such a good job, Véronique! And 36 calories? Pfft, that's nuthin' in the scheme of things.

Well done on cutting out the sugar. It's not an easy thing at all, but will pay off in your health, as well as the weight loss. And raspberries (drool), mango (urk - just don't like 'em) and yoghurt is about as healthy as it gets. I do love me some yoghurt. We grew up with a huge mango tree in the backyard, and my dad and sisters used to go nuts for them. But I was like my mum, she didn't like them either. So for once in my life I wasn't roused on for being picky. :D

ok so yesterday I finished under by 136cal :smilielol5: I have been having such a hard time staying within my alloted cals and without even trying, I ended up having 1 Veggie burger instead of salad but I did put a lot of lettuce on top of my burger so it was kind of a salad...I was just out of most salad making ingredients so I had to go with what I had in the house. Didn`t go for a walk cause my house was a mess and I can`t stand a messy house! My 2yrs old vaccumed for me....he was having a blast...he tought it was a game he did a very good job the only spots I had to redo once he was in bed was under the computer desk and and the kitchen table so he just inherited a weekly job! lol

so far this week the food is going well I am gonna miss this site :( I won`t be on here until I either fix my pc or buy a new one still not sure what we are gonna end up doing yiet....I think we should just buy a hard drive and the next time something big breaks buy a new one.....we changed the video card last year and the power supply may as well go for a hard drive since I can install it myself......I really will need my computer, to help me stay on track!

I will start with the good news weighted in today 176.8 :party:

I think the is worth checking out....my only issues is that a lot of the canadian brand names that I use are not on there so I have to look up item until I find one with the same nutritional value, but I lost 10lb since june 14 using lose it and here together and I have found it helpful...first off I had to start mesuring and weighing my portion size again, and since they input not only calories but also carbs, fat, sodium, protein I have had to really look at the food I am eating, I keep looking at the nutritional info and wondering is it really worth it? The site is telling me that I can reach my goal weight of 130 by Jan 2012....I know that right now I am loosing more because my body was used to more calories and I am aware that the first few weeks are when some one looses more...I am aiming for a 1.5 loss weekly if I lose more then great! I am wondering how I got from 183.6 last week to 176.8 this week...I think it`s my body ajdjusting to the new lower cal and also I did do at least 30 min of exercise X3 this week....sometimes walking at lunch and last night I got my mixed 90`s cd`s out and dance for 45 min followed by abs work out! I think that seeing the scale go down is making more motivated and energised! I am gonna ride that wave for as long as it last hopefully it will be a long time!
