Valapalooza's Diary

Day 2 of the challenge, and day 2 back on the exercise wagon. I was able to get up and exercise in the morning before I showered since it's a weekend- and I just snagged half a power bar before I did the workout so that I would have something in my system. I think we are going to try to do a nice big salad and grilled portabella (thanks Mal) for lunch. I hope its yummy! Hope everyone is having a great Saturday (In this sticky nasty heat!)
 
Woo Hoo for the Excercise Wagon!!

I used to HATE sweat. Not any more! It's the physical reminder to me that I'm getting RID of the old self.

I seriously need to glue my butt on that wagon too.

and yep... sweat is good for ya. If you didn't sweat, how else would you know u're burining calories right? ;)
 
Val I may need you to come back over to my journal and kick my butt back onto the exercise wagon. I couldn't do it this past week, but I can start exercising now and I intend to. I just wanted to check in here and I definitely second the vote for pictures :)

I love that thought M2M! And great job Val on steering yourself back on course. I'm proud of you! If you can't put in pics of the super cute new hair, at least describe it to us (without sweat :p ). Hey another good thing about sweating is that it helps get rid of all that salt! Bonus! Have a wonderful week please! Keep moving!
 
Hey- I'm back from Chicago and I don't have a whole lot of time to check in here, but I'll be sure to do that later. I was good for the most part! I was definitely good with my food- but my drinking could have been a little better. (OOPS!) I guess the good news is that the drinks were flowing so freely that I spent most of the night on our dinner cruise dancing like a maniac so I burned LOTS of calories.lol But I'm back on track today and ready to get moving.
 
I love Chicago! I just go back from a trip there myself and if I could...I'd live there. I love it!!
 
You had fun, you had some extra calories, you burned most of them off. Good luck getting back on track. I'm sure you'll come out of this trip with memories and no extra weight :)
 
Alcohol calories - dancing calories = not too bad + a lot of fun ;)

I'm glad you are back and had a good time Val :)
