Ok, here goes.
I started seriously with the weight loss attempt a week ago today, and just today decided it was time to start writing things down. I use SparkPeople to track food, which is really a very cool site. If I had to try to track calories on my own - forget it. I know I'm too lazy to do it, but I'm on the computer a lot, so just tossing it onto a website where I can go back and look is great.
I started last week at 217 lbs, wearing a 1 or 2X in clothes. I was tired of looking like I did. I wear scrubs to work, and most people, when they found out that scale would scream when I stepped on it, didn't belive me, but scrubs hide a lot!
Old Navy had their tank tops on sale recently and I bought some, both for around the house and for under my lab coat at work. I bought them to fit in a way that I was comfortable - not too tight across the tummy so that people can't see the roll. Well, after getting to wear them all once, the hubby washed clothes. And shrank most of them. But I'm determined to get down to the point where I can wear them and they fit like they did before he helped! LOL.
I've told some of the people at work that I'm working on loosing this weight, and now I'm telling y'all.
So far, so good.
