txsqlchick's diary

I saw you post around the forum today and came by here to pester you...but no posts here, lol. I'm currently listening to my husband play "call of duty" and cuss out the other people playing....fun fun. So how are ya?

Sitting on my sofa watching reruns of The Office after eating Wendy's (stayed under 1500 calories for the day). :hat:

Nice job :) I'd be watchin tv too but again, hubby is hoggin the tv set for his game. I'm tired anyway though and fighting it. Welp, tomorrow is another day, talk to you laterz :waving:

I guess that's one of the good things about living alone...no competition for the TV. :coolgleamA:

OH yea...for sure, lol. I love my hubby dearly, don't get me wrong, but I was very happy when I was single, lol. The peace and quiet, no extra messes, stuff still being where you leave it when you get home...but I can't complain too much. He's about the only one I think I could ever live with and he keeps the toilet seat down, lol.

Yeah; for me having custody of the remote is about the only thing I enjoy about being single. The rest of it sucks ass.

It was OK; I had wanted to go gun shopping (for self-defense) but my BF was too busy to go with me and I wouldn't know what I was looking for. I don't want to be taken in by those slick gun salesmen. "What would it take for me to get YOU into THIS Glock 27....today?"

:ack2:

"Well I can see the Glock 27 might be a little too much for you right now....but (I have to clear this with my supervisor first) I think I can give you a great deal on this "Glockie" 21 model (It actually shoots .22 cal bullets!!!), It's a previous years model, but it has some fine upgrades. The previous owner (a grandmother from Ft. Worth) put very low firing time on it, it has an "Oversized chanber" , and it was kept in a smoke free environment". It even has a plastic handle (For lighter weight), and is made from the same plant as the Jennings .25 auto! We can even customize it with Pink grips for you for just a small additional fee.

Yea, watch out for some gun shops. It's so hit and miss these days it's hard to tell. I would suggest starting off on a lighter gun like a .32 cal so you can get the basics down first. Use hollow nose bullets for the stopping power on the lower .cal guns and you'll be fine. Oh, and try to find one that has a shooting range so you can test them out to make sure your good with it before taking it home (after you've been trained in the basics of course).

I fired my BF's big giant Glock...I can't remember what number it was but it was a .44. The other Glock I fired (and scored OK on) was a 9mm. I also fired a .357 but found it too large with too much kick.

I'm getting a shotgun first, though. They're best for home defense. :patriot:

You guys are too funny. If I went to by a gun I wouldn't know the difference between a handgun and a water pistol. My mom used to hunt and was knowledgeable...but thats one of two things she didn't pass on to me. The other was sewing :X. Think I should talk to her about this next time we talk, lol.

Anyway just stoppin by to say hi and see how your day is goin. What's new and exciting?

Well, I AM from Texas. :waving:

I can't sew for shit. I did cross stitching when I was younger, mostly because my mother was totally incapable of doing it but liked the way it looked so guess who got to do it? Me, who had the little fingers. :toetap05:

I'm home sick from work today because I hurt all over and I'm lightheaded. I had a fever earlier today but it's gone now.

Oh yea....I wasn't putting two and two together on the texas part, lol. Sorry your feelin crappy today :( Hope you're over the worst of it and not fighting off the flu. You'll have to get some chicken noodle soup.

Oh and thanks for giving me cravings for mexican food, lol. You're post in my journal sounded SOOOOO good.

Maybe I'm not eating enough fiber because I used to do #2 every morning and now I can go 2-3 days without going #2. It's pretty painful and I don't want to take laxatives because they SUCK.

So, lacking any apples in the house (the ones I bought are in my desk at work) I ate a small serving of raisin bran with 1% milk instead. Hopefully that'll get things moving again, and this weekend I'll have to examine my diet carefully and see where I can put in more fiber and cut out some fat; I hear too much fat can also clog up the works.

Eat more than two pieces of any "sugar free" chocolate and I guarantee you'll be cleaned out in no time, lol. I don't recommend it though, it comes with horrible gas pains as well.

Anyway I've thought the same thing, and I forgot to buy some fiber tabs today...they make them with calcium so I could knock out two things at once.

I just hate not being able to poop, it's really uncomfortable.:cry::cry:

Well I'm sure you already know about prune or apple juice helping but I can't stand prune juice. Prunes are ok. But I googled and there's actually foods you can include in your diet to help alleviate the problem before it starts. There was also a ton of remedies with ingredients I did not recognize, lol. Anyway just thought I'd mention it in case there was something you could eat to help you out. I know how miserable it can be from my own experience :X Hope you feel better soon

Hey I figured out I can see who's logged in...whoa for being observant MONTHS later, lmao. I have to go to work soon but I thought I'd stop by and say hello and gnite before I get off here soon. How's things goin? Hope you're feelin better today. ~Lisa

I feel kinda crappy but my BF was supposed to take me out. He's not taking me out because of yet another last-minute thing with his kids. For someone who is trying to win me back he's not doing a very good job of it. It's not like I want to keep him from his children, but if he's going to date me he needs to make time for me too.

Definitely and if he makes plans with you he needs to stick to them. I can see last minute stuff once in a while but if it happens alot I'd think he wasn't staying on top of things and communicating with their mom. Wonder if you got him a planner if he'd clue in, lol.

I'm ready to tell him to take a hike again. If he's having trouble balancing work, kids, and me...something's gotta give, and I know the first two aren't going anywhere.

That's gotta be frustrating, sorry you're having to deal with that. If you want I can come there and help you give him a good smackdown :D Meh, probably not the best time for me to be crackin jokes but hopefully you smiled. Men can be a huge pain in the ass for sure. Anyway I gotta run but hope you're guy gets a clue and figures out you should be one of his priorities. *hugz* ~Lisa

Haven't heard shit from him since yesterday afternoon. Basically if he doesn't make an effort, why the hell should I?

In other news, I've now lost 25lbs. 25!!!! I'm less than a pound away from losing 10% of my starting weight. That's pretty cool!
