Trying to lose 40lbs

Day #9
Lunch
1. Lentils and Salmon mixed together and cooked.
2. Spinach, carrot, lettuced blended with water.

The only thing I am drinking is water. Thats it.
 
Day #9

2. Lettuce, spinach, carrot, chia and water blended together.

2 mile walk with the dog at 4pm.

Day #10
Breakfast.
1. Two cooked eggs.
2. Lettuce and brocolli blended with water and chia.

Didn't have time to prepare/eat legumes since I was running late to an appt. 10am and i'm not feeling any cravings.

Lunch
1. Huge salmon patty.
2. Large portion of lentils
3. Blended lettuce, carrot, brocolli.

Dinner.
1. 2 pieces of grilled chicken
2. Large portion of lentils
3. spinach, lettuce blended with chia and water.

Looking into getting a DEXA scan. Probably this saturday.
My energy has been consistent and overall I have felt healthy, not fatigued.

Probably TMI, but i've also been very regular.

Reading your progress is really helping me to keep it going. We were both close to the same starting weight and seeing you get closer to your goal is keeping it real for me. I am trying to shoot for 190, but I might try 180.

i still cant belive it when i see the scales have gone down, it really amazes me i love it and can see how it can be so addictive. in my heart i just wanna lose 3 stone 42lbs but i`ve put the goal up for 180 so i think i`m gona try go for that, either way i`m enjoyin myself and i think i`ve done really well.

you can do it man, just dont let set backs get you down.

Your weight loss is fantastic! You should be so proud of what you've achieved!

To lose that much weight is a large task! Congrats!!

seeing your success, and your determination to stick to such a healthy diet is inspiring :)

Dinner
1. Lentils and Sardines.
2. Spinach, lettuce and carrot blended with chia.

I had cravings earlier, but I think it was because I didn't eat legumes with my breakfast in the morning. I ended up cooking and eating a small salmon patty between lunch and dinner.

Bought my wife a big chocolate cake to celebrate her birthday. I won't be able to have a piece till saturday (cheat day). Oh well.

Except for yesterday, most of my daily walks with the dog have been two miles every day.

Cheat day and weigh in.
218.4 lbs

A difference of three pounds from last week. I followed the same pattern that I did the previous week, so I know it's reallly not so much water this time. I probably lost some lean muscle mass along withn the fat. Starting I will probably do a little bit of resistance exercise to go along with all the walking I do.

I noticed that my sleep pattern has become more regular this past week and I am sleeping better. I hope that continues.

Just two eggs to eat so far today. Looking forward to some fruit bread and some cake.

Day #14 cheat day
Ate lots of fruit, sandwiches and even got some fast food.
Had two pieces of chocolate cake -- all the sugar had me jittery for a while afterwards.
Looking forward to getting back to the regular diet.

You are very strict with you eating.
For a man, it doesn't seem like you eat very many calories but you know what your body needs.

It's good that you're allowed a cheat day on this weight loss programme.

I did some calorie counting and even with the large portions I am eating, the total calorie count is well under 2500. Thanks for your feedback, you've given me something to think about and research.
