Geez, that's a hell of a routine there, Bruce. I'm in the last 4 days of my routine, and then I take a planned week off from exercise. After that, I start a brand new routine that Steve has cooked up for me. We'll have to get together once I'm familiar with the new exercises.

Yeah, I know it's huge but I like the feeling when I am walking out of the gym.. the feeling that I actually accomplished something! I can already see the results and I figure I can adjust as necessary if I need to. I will tak a week off here at some point too.. at least from the lifting portion.. I'll still do the cardio though.

I'd be interested in seeing what Steve has cooked up for you when you get the routine..

Have a good one!!

Hi Kim! Glad to see you back and running around the forum! We missed you around here! I want to get a Satellite radio in my car as well but I think we are selling it before we move to Tennessee so it won't be worth it. The stereo I want is a little pricey! Sorry to hear you are still listening to disco though.. very disturbing.. there are probably some kind of Disco Anonymous around somewhere.. probably not in Oklahoma though! LMAO!!! :rotflmao:

Thanks for stopping by!! :D

Nice looking workout plan there Bruce!!

When I had a personal trainer, I also did the same 3 sets of 6-8 reps. Usually 8 reps. I would have to count to 3 on both extention and retraction. I got really good results from that controlled movement and focus. I did better than those who do a bunch of sloppy reps and go for numbers. Quality is better than quantity and it looks like you already know that!! Great job. I too find my arms get too tired during routines, especially my shoulders.

My parents had a bumper sticker on their car "Disco Sucks" and they got pulled over and hassled a bit by a highway patrol (this was probably in 1980), and when the cop left without issue, he said, "By the way--disco does not suck,"

My parents CRACKED up at that!

That workout seems exhausting, but I do exhausting weight sessions myself (for me) and I know what you mean about feeling accomplished. have a good one!

Okay, I have to admit, some disco does SUCK big time, but I'm totally a BGEE'S fan, I don't care how bad that is. HAHAHA LMAO!! Night Fever, Night Fever, we know how to do it!! HAHAHAHA OH MY GOSH, how bad is that. Curves cracks me up! And where's the party?? I"m coming with my A Track Tape player, Bell Bottoms and Pop rocks. HAHAHAHHA What was popular back then to drink. Coors. OH YUK!!!! I was way to young to drink, but I remember grandpa having Coors in the fridge. LOL Oh, I think Coke in those small bottles was in back in the 70's is that right?

You crack me up! Coor's.. Yuk! I think the big beer to drink back then for me at least.. Umm, wait.. I mean after I was 21.. yeah, that's it.. was either Mickey's Big Mouth or Lowenbrau.

Pop Rocks are the best! I wanted to get a pack and give it to our dog.. just to see, Beth said no..:( Bee Gee's were the main reason I hated Disco.. that and the way the disco people dressed! BUT, I actually had to wear a polyester shirt for my Senior Picture! UGH!! Not too cool for a surfer bum back then!

Yeah, it's kind of exhausting but, if I feel better leaving the gym than when I walked in, it's a good exhaustion! Weird that the more I kick my own ass in the gym, the better I feel when I leave! Why is that?? Oh well, it still feels gooooood! :)

Pop Rocks and coke Killed Mikey - don't give pop rocks to the dog :D oh wait that was an :)
Pop rocks were soo cool

How could you no wlove the bee gees? didn't you ever wonder how tight their skivvies had to be in order to sing falsetto? the human voice doesnt do that unassisted :D

LOL!!

Kim--my friends and I when we were 13 put on her parent's disco records and danced to "Stayin Alive". It was a great workout, ha ha~!

I love playing dress up! Wouldn't mind it if someone put on a 1970s party.

and a ponytail? :D

No, never had a ponytail.. hair was definitely long enough although you couldn't tell now.. I was your sterotypical SoCal Surfer type.. long hair that was worn however the shake out of the water dried it. Tanned all year long and abs that I wish I had a gain.. oh well, maybe someday! :D

oooo pictures please..must have pictures..

Sorry Mal.. don't have pictures on here from that far back! Shit, my hair started falling out a LONG time ago.. too far back for me to remember!

So, you'll just have to settle for my recent topless pics.. 2 weeks for the next set! Love to keep you in suspense!!

Well, day two of the new routine in the gym this afternoon.. can't wait! Is it time to knock off work yet?

I think I am going to continue to define this new routine by doing different exercises so I am not repeating anything.. hit the muscles from all angles.. :) Happy with the results so far.. probably post new pics in a few weeks! Just for you Mal!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Bruce
