Aloha & Howzit!
The "best minds" are those who understand and recognize that intelligence is of two kinds.
There is the intellectual-knowledgeable mind and the emotional-understanding heart.
"The positive mind listens to the words of the soul.
And when the body feels right, the mind understands."
(from: The Yin Exercise System - The OFFERING ONE)
The right kind of health educator/fitness trainer will not only show his or her socialized degress or certificates but more so their credentials of humanity and humility when actively teaching/instructing physical exercise.
Instead of taking charge, we must take part when teaching/instructing.
Why we teach is far more significant than what we teach; that, which does make how we teach an expressionof our own understanding of the "nature" in exercise that is innate/inborn human health and the body's organic functional process.
There must be deep respect for the actual, the real and the potential abilities of all human beings in genera, not just of an "elite individual."
In the realm of Health Education/Physical Conditioning Exercise, our real understanding comes by the observation of "body-language".
Many fitness trainers get lost-in-translation, not being able to interpert this.
" Bad technique comes only from bad body mechanics."
This random unaware action usually starts not by how one thinks but what one is thinking while doing, that transforms into physical action, exercise.
There is too much focus on the mind's fitness and less on the present health of the body. Active physical exercise is to "feel more and think less" while doing.
We should not think to become healthy and fit from exercise but be healthy while exercising.
These are some of the healthy points that makes health educator/fitness teachers either good, excellent or master teachers in their respected field.
Here in the Hawaiian Islands we were taught long ago that we can look at the human body with a microscope but to see human life will must use a telescope...seeing the insight of "the big picutre."
Good health to you & Aloha for now!
