Trusylver's Diary

Hey ya Tru! :D Sheesh, I haven't been here in a few days, how did that happen????? Congrats on the loss! For more protein have you thought of wheat past?? I know it sounds funny, but the kind I use had 11 grams of protein per 2 oz of pasta. I use it to keep my protein up where I need it to be when I don't eat a lot of meat. That and low fat Peanut butter, but I try REALLY hard to ignore the summons of that jar since its still pretty high in fat. :D Have a wonderful day and I know you'll keep up that great work! :D

hi tru - looks like you are going well :)

i find it hard to eat enough protein - going by the csiro diet, most days they recommend 150g! i not only couldn't eat that much, i couldn't afford it! still, if i'm feeling tired (like yesterday) i'll shove in a couple of slices of ham or something. it seems to help. i'm still not really sure why you need protein for muscles, but oh well. i'm hoping to do a pump class today - still using the girlie weights for now :p

enjoy your sunday :)

i Just got back from a great workout at the gym, I found out what my max lift for the squat was today

90 kg (198.4 pounds) YAY only 10 kg away from my short term goal :D :D :D and i lifted it 3 times.

one of the trainers said it was the highest squat weight for a female at the gym :D :D

i am sooooo going to feel it tomorrow but the pain will be worth it for setting a personal best lift :)

Congrats Tu!!!! That's awesome! The pain only reminds you of how far you've come :D Atleast that what I try to tell myself! LOL Hope you have a great day and keep up the good work!

Hi Trus! Thanks for posting some pics. You do look very strong and your waist looks small. Go girl. You got some muscles working there. Good job.

You machine! You know, I'm thinking the roosters might be in some trouble this season, how's about you sign up with them and show them how it's done? ;-)

But seriously you're just outstanding! Keep up the great work.

i haven't posted my food for a few days but it has been much the same each day, but i have started having poridge with some of my protein powder added to hopefully get my protein intake up to the correct level.

didn't realy feel sore the day after my big gym day and went to rugby training as normal, training last night consisted of cardio, i think i ended up doing 10 laps, ball and sprinting drills as well as plyometrics (realy felt the burn on those exercizes)

i have gym again this morning.

Tru, you rock!!! Keep up the great work!!! Hope today is a good one for ya :D

yesterday's gym session was ok and food was also ok. today is my youngest sons birthday but he is home from school sick :(

all three of my boys have decided to do rugby union AND soccer this winter, rugby union training starts tonight for the boys just before my training, soccer sign on is next week and cricket is still running    i am gonna be a busy taxi service for the next few weeks getting everybody to the right training sessions on time.

i will be coaching rugby union juniors as soon as i get my blue card and get my coaching acreditation and first aid certificate sorted out.

my blue card application went in yesterday and my boys had a go at the junior rugby training to see if they would like it with mixed reactions, my youngest wants to do both soccer and rugby, my middle son chucked a wobbly and my eldest son surprised me and said he only wants to play the rugby this year after spending 4 years playing soccer.

my rugby training went well but the cardio was extreme and went to absolute failure on one interval exercize (running then dropping to the ground for pushups or situps then running again - repeat) I almost colapsed with exhaustion while hubby and 2 of the boys sat in the stands where we were training eating pizza and sprite where i could see them grrrrr. my eldest decided to do the cardio workouts along side the senior teams and saying "can't you do better mum, keep up mum" at the end of training my legs felt like jelly.

today i am feeling a bit sick and have slept all morning, heading back to bed after i have some lunch and check the forum and my e-mail.

You are doing so great, but please don't drop from exhaustion. We would miss you! I know how hard it is feeling like a taxi service, but one day you and the boys will be very glad that you were able to take the time for them to be able to enjoy these activities.

Congrats on getting the blue card! I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care of yourself.

Aw im sorry you dont feel well. Sometimes I think you just push yourself so hard that eventually your body puts the brakes on and says HEY WE"RE taking a REST!...and phooey on that pizza and sprite! I know what you mean though....the other day we went to Mcdonalds (yuk) and the kids all picked burgers and fries(now THOSE smell good) and I got a salad. In fact my H did too! but man, the smell about drove me nuts in the car. I made it somehow! As did you!

get rested up, and Im sure hoping your doing better today.

Hi Tru, PLEASE take care of you.... You do such a great job, I'd hate to see you get sidelined by exhaustion. Sounds like you will be insanely busy for a while. Hang in there and keep up the good work :D ! BTW, you should give everybody a good swift kick to the keester for eating that stuff where you could see them! LOL Don't they know thats the same as telling a girl dying of thirst that she can have the water if she can reach it and then chaining her two feet short of the it?!!!! hehehe BOY, your eldest sounds like mine!!! LOL When we were climbing a mountain a few years ago (with me at my heaviest), the guys were up front and I was about 15 feet behind, when i heard "Are ya dyin' back there Ma?!?!?!?!". Jerks! LOL Give him a noogie! :D have a great day and get to feelin' better

I am feeling a lot better today, i think i just over done things and needed the extra rest. this morning i will be walking around town with a shirt on advertising womans rugby and trying to get new players with the rest of the team while hubby takes the kids to cricket.

the rest of the weekend should just be lazy with a bit of time to fit in some painting.

I swear just reading about your days wears me out! I wasn't tired until now! Hmmm, maybe if I could get rid of some more of this body fat like you!!!!

Hi Tru! Just poppin' in to check on ya :D Hope you're feeling better and all is well in your area of the world :) Keep up the good work :D
