Thankyou ladies for your support this forum is great :)

the time realy flies by when your training with a team of fit young male footballers :D

it is 5 am here and just about to have some tuna for brekky and then head into the gym. I am still feeling great after last night training and still realy pumped and motivated that i didn't struggle like i did last season.

You're training with a team of men? Yeah baby, yeah!!! Now that would get me off my booty with the quickness. haha

I'm so glad to know someone so dedicated. You inspire me to get in more resistance training.

I'll bet it does! Phew!
See i'd be in a bind, 'cause i wouldn't know whether to look or run! :D

I read through the work out, and i alsmost cried just thinking about it.
I'm such a pansy! lol, but gee whizz I am so inspired by you, and can't wait to build up to some running.

Keep it up Tru, you're going fantastically!

i am just so much fitter than i was this time last year :) and i no longer need my knee support when i play :D

it's funny you should mention that, i was just telling one of my mates at work that when i first started walking, my knees were really stiff, and now they feel better than they ever have.

In the long run the best thing for old injuries is not to avoid using it as much as posible which is what i did with my knee for a long time but to go out of your way to make it stronger than it was before.

Yesterdays food

Breakfast: Tuna
Post training meal: Tuna
Lunch: slice of cheese
Snack: grapes, 1/2 litre OJ
Supper: 1 mini pizza

Exercize: 1 hour weights at gym (cut down from 1.5 hours so hubby could go to work)
Water: 2 litres

Today should be cricket for the boys but it is still raining so their games might not be on today, if so today is a day to just relax from exercize.

Hey, Trusylver, just checkin' in w/ ya... YOU ARE DOING GREAT!! OMG, two hours of cardio - and here I can barely make it through my tae-bo tape!!! LOL You are such and inspiration! Keep up the good work!! :D

Tru you are the most motivated person I have 'read' when it comes to exercise!
But are you sick of Tuna yet or what?
I know that you need a protien source to fuel your workouts, but you are skipping meals and eating a junk meal the next!I dont mean to criticise you as I said your exercise and water intake is great!
One slice of cheese as a meal is not great, your body needs the right food to burn!I know this because in my 20s I did the same thing,exersized/trained(boxing)like a mad woman. Then ate like a bird, skipped meals, had a junk food binge meal. Then tried to work out twice as hard the next day to make up for it!I came down with the worst cold that I have ever had in my life!I was really sick and laid up in bed for a week!
Tuna for breakfast, lunch you do a huge workout then no tea or just water!
Please dont take this the wrong way,I have been reading your posts everyday with inspiration from your workouts. Please dont take it to heart,I am just worried about you! :( :)

ok i deserved that kick in the bum magenta, i often get busy and just forget to eat until i am realy hungry, i hope things will get back into a better routine again when the kids go back to school on monday, over the holidays the kids have been sleeping in till odd hours of the morning and eating brekky when they wake up and meals in general have been all over the place.

i do like the tuna and think it is better than having a meal replacement drink or protein powder yuk.

I also need to stop eating to late into the evening, but again with school starting again the kids will be going to bed earlier so meals will also be earlier in the evening.

one thing i do make sure of is enough rest if i am feeling run down because i have had glandular fever and CFS after i pushed things way to hard in the past and regretted it badly when i got sick.

I just got back from shopping and picked up more veg than normal and some yummy calamari to cook :)

so far today

Brekky: Tuna
Lunch: 2 X yoghurt
Snack: salami

have also done 20 minute workout with my new punching bag :D

so impressive :D its hard getting everything done when you have kids and they're out of a routine. you're lucky though, mine don't go back to school until feb 6! hope the calamari is yummy :D

I am so glad that you didnt take that the wrong way!I too am all over the place with my mealtimes and kids bedtimes!I cant wait til my oldest goes back to kindy, only a few hours a day but better than nothing!
We went to the pool 3 days in a row, costing me a fortune!Especially when my two step kids are here too!Everything is for 6 of us!Got really burnt today on my arms!I made the kids keep their t shirts on/hats!
It has been MEGA hot down here in Adelaide! Its been days and days of 39/40 degrees!Trying to sleep at night has been hell!We have an evaporative ducted air conditioner that only works well in the low to medium 30s!
Lucky we have ceiling fans, not much help but better than nothing!
A change is coming in tomorrow so hopefully some relief!
The CSIRO diet recommends salmon due to the omega 3 oil content in it!But in woolworths down here its $22 a kilo!Going to the markets in town to see if I can get it cheaper then freeze some.

ouch, thats sounds like our normal temperatures, it has been raining a lot up here so the temps have been down a bit. just after new year we had a reverse cycle A/C installed from by the electricity company that you pay off through your bill which works realy well. I hopy the sunburn isn't to bad :( 3 kids is enough for me i think any more than that would be imposible for me to keep track of.

Hubby and i have spent the afternoon outside in the rain trying to fix the water pipes which feed into our water tank grrr.

i had a look at the PDF file the CSIRO has for download explaining the basics of the diet.

time to go and cook my calamari for supper :)

Yesterdays Food
