What a weekend. My whole body feels just wrung out like an old dish rag. That's a good thing when it's from just too much fun.
Friday was a run around getting things set up. After the kids went to school, I packed up the stuff for camping and went to the site and set it all up. Then I got home for just about the time that they got out of school. We all got dressed in our costumes and went trick or treating on Main Street. Very cool. They shut down the street for an hour and a half and it's just all these kids in costume (and a few parents). From there we went to my mom's to go trick or treating and have dinner. All but two of my siblings were there, which was cool, and all the cousins, my mother in law, cousins' friends. Big party. I ate everything bad for me. Chocolate bars, pizza, chocolate bars, wine, more chocolate bars. Oh, and I found out that my niece won the counties in the 5k. Next Saturday is the States and she thinks that she can take that too.
From there we went to the camp site where things were in full swing. Ate, drank, made merry, had a great time. Went to bed some time around 4-5 in the morning, but had to get up for 9 Saturday. Got up and went home for soccer game, then back to the camp site. More of the same for Saturday except that's when we had the pig roast. Damn, that was some good pig. Good food, good wine, good beer, great pumpkin cheesecake bars for desert, and of course drinking and such all night again. In bed for 4 after changing the clocks, then up at 7:30. Damn, it was cold. Breakfast was bagels and donuts.
Cleaned up the site from the weekend, packed up and went home. The whole family was just kaput. We got Chinese food for diner, and I pigged out on that.
Now I know that according to things that it takes 3500 calories to make a pound, so for me to "gain" the ten pounds that the scale says, I would have to consume 35,000 calories this weekend. I don't know. I just might have done that.

Well, this next week should be fun.
