Hi Trev, honey. Send some of that Texas heat and sunshine my way, please.Well, we've got the sunshine, but it's still pretty cold here.
I hear ya about back roads being great. We have a lot of them around here, too, and I enjoy driving down them on a nice, sunny day.
I'm glad you're enjoying your weekend at home, and having great workouts as well.![]()
Hi Trevor, Im new around here and found your journal...just wanted to say congrats on your amazing progress and dedication to living a healthy life.
After several weeks of eating in a caloric surplus, i have thought it over and im still not comfortable with my body fat...so i have decided to cut just a bit more off before seriously putting on some pounds of good muscle! I know some may not agree, but the number one thing i have to be happy with is the way i look before i go and start gaining weight again. Tomorrow i return to an 1800/day caloric deficit, upping cardio and weights, and eating slightly more protein with a bit less carbs! I also realized my bulk wasn't as clean as i thought, and i was putting weight on faster than ever!
Honestly Trev, this was me in September. I decided I wanted to push myself just a little more, for that impending burst of self-esteem. It's five months later and I've still not completely gotten there, but I will eventually. Day by day I'm working towards being happy with myself and the way I look. It's so very, very hard on some days and quite easy on others. It's an emotional roller-coaster of both self denial and acceptance. And you know what? I hate it with a passion.
If you trust this new plan will work for you, run with it and do so with passion. No matter what, you have got to be absolutely dedicated and determined, both of which I know you definately are, so I have the utmost faith you'll be gaining more confidence in yourself here in no time. I'm def. rooting for ya'!
Trev hon, you already know I'm 100% supportive of your new 1800 cal a day plan.
Let me tell you something though, it would drive me crazy to weigh myself everyday. As a woman, the emotional teter-toter of increasing and decreasing digits every-other-day, would drive me up a wall of frustration. As it is, I really only weigh myself about once a week, if I so dare. LOL.
I'm glad you have the bravery to deal with it, Trev. I could never...haha.
Good luck with your workout! And don't work your brain to hard today, if that's possible.
Have a happy Monday, hon!
Wow, sounds like you have everything so under control. Many Kudos to you for having plans in place and doing things in a safer way.
Good Luck on that running and have a great afternoon.
Tasha

This is probably one of the only places in the US where you can be in shorts all day and then in a jacket at night...
