Holy Jesus. I do believe that I might realllly love this season of Nip/Tuck. Yup. hahaha... How was beauty and the geek?? I've never watched it, but I will admit that a few times in the hotel room last week I ended up watching The most smartest supermodel, or something like that... it was friggin hysterical! I always avoid watching stuff like that, but now I kinda question my judgement.. hmm.
Anyways, I agree with you that we should set a lil goal for Christmas... I don't even know what would be reasonable, but yeah, good idea!
 
so this is lame I totally made a post yesterday but I got an error message when I submitted it and it looks like it didn't go through. Oh well Ill cover both days here.

Yesterday was bad we had a Halloween office party, sort of a pot luck type. People here are so touchy when it comes to the food. They were actually getting upset that I wasn't going to eat. I gave into peer pressure and had all sorts of things that I shouldn't have. argh oh well.

Here's the thing though I got really sick. I ended up leaving work going home and feeling miserable all night even having to make a few trips to the rest room. It was a horrible evening. And I haven't eaten anything since. Not good on that either. But I am feeling a bit better today. I have a mild cold I can tell im a bit stuffed up and my throat is sore. I hate winter time.

Anyway I fully intend to go on my run this afternoon in addition to my basketball game this evening at 7. I have to find a happy medium for dinner. I think when I get home I'll star the oven and go on my run. When I am back ill toss in some turkey and make a salad of course after my shower and clean up. HA-HA

That should give me a enough time to digest and get ready for my game. I think my goal is going to be close this week. With the bad day yesterday I think that's going to punish me. Oh well right I just hope for some sort of loss.

My next door neighbor commented the other day that I looked like I had lost a lot of weight. It was a really good feeling that some are noticing. I still cant see a difference but I see myself everyday.

Yeah Jess I think this season of Nip/Tuck is going to be really good. I love that show lol its so over the top.

Catie I am not sure what my goal for the end of the year is. Lets see that's what 2 months/ 8 weeks. I am going at a 3-4 loss a week I think so I'll down 20 pounds to 272? That might be tough but if I can keep my current pace I think I can get there. Wow that would be 60 pounds total I wonder if I would notice then I should hope so!

Ok all I should get some work done. Tomorrow is weigh in day lets hope for low numbers!

Sorry to hear about what happened at the party. That sucks. I totally understand that feeling of giving in to please people. People just can't seem to grasp a "No thanks" when it comes to food. They look at you like you're insane for not wanting any.

Anyway, it's good for you that you're still gonna exercise even though you feel a little under the weather.

Hey Travis... Sorry about the party yesterday.. that does suck and is a way uncomfortable situation.. And it sounds like you are quite the nice person and don't want to upset anyone..

But today is a new day :) and the start of your wonderful goal of twenty more by Christmas. You can totally do it.

So as you can see I missed the goal of under 290 by the weigh in, im pretty pissed about it but hey its still what a 2 pound loss which is still rather good. And I am sure if I just weigh in tomorrow after another run and light dinner that I will be rocking the 280's. I blame the office party on Wednesday. That was tough to overcome. Oh well at least it wasn't a gain.

My basketball game last night was good, I kind of cut things short last night. I got home at about 4:35 and started my run. Home from that just after 5 at which time I started dinner. The turkey took like 30 mins since it was completely frozen. So I didn't sit down to eat really till like 5:45 giving me 1:15 mins to digest b4 my game. In retrospect I should have just had like a granola bar to tide me over but I really was feeling drained so I did dinner. Luckily I was able to digest and had no cramps or anything at game time.

We won by 20 even though we only had 5 guys for 3 quarters lol. It was a good game. The other team played zone almost the entire time which takes the post game out, which is where I play. So I spent most of the game at the high post distributing and cutting. Ended up with 10 points and 15 rebounds so a decent outing. I am feeling quicker on the floor since the weight loss which is giving me confidence in my games. Not feeling sluggish is a huge key in basketball lol.

Tonight I am getting a new haircut. I am actually spending more than my usual 10 bucks or free when I do it myself lol. I am going to this Gentlemen's Barber Shop. I found it online I have created this whole new me file on my favorites tab. I figure since im gonna change my size lets just do a whole overhaul on me I think it will make me feel better. If the haircut comes out all dapper ill post a pic for some criticism lol.

Today for lunch I had a cobb salad and for breakfast a smoothie so I am right around 700 cals for the day. I will do some sort of chicken, although I am craving steak tonight with lots of lovely veggies. Should be a good weekend and this one im really shooting to not stray.

I was a little let down that I didn't break the goal for the week. So I had a nice lunch and after work went on a long hard run. After my shower I thought to myself lets just check one more time just in case. Low and behold 289.4!!!!! Its still weigh in day right? so yes I fricken did it! Woo hoo that makes me feel so much better!

Greetings on another Monday! Yawn yeah its the same old crap different week right. I really didn't want to get up this morning was really tired. Oh well the problem with my job is that there is so much work and we are so under staffed taht I really cant just take a day off. If I did that today's minor problems would be come major events.

Anyway the weekend was good until Sunday when I wasn't so great with food. It seems to be a common theme with me is taht I do so well right up until sunday. Its ok though one bad day isn't gonna kill me out of the week. I just have to keep working hard.

It was really great to reach my goal last week and now just to get further under that mark. The next tier, the 170's is within site and I think if I can get there by the end of the month I will be really happy.


Today started out bad I skipped breakfast which I know is bad so I need to make some cals up. I will have a afternoon snack and then run. My roommate is making dinner, he said it was going to be pork chops salad and potato which is good. I need to get to the store for my dog today he is out of kibble so I will also pick up some granola and breafesty type things.

Thanks for the words of encouragement peeps it does mean a lot. I hope all is well with everyone.

Lets see goal for the week lets say 286-285 right in there? I think that is doable.
 
Yesterday was good, I am still battling the remnants of a cold, lots of gross flem and stuff. I seem to get this every winter. I will catch a cold and while I don't feel sick I am unable to get rid of the coughing and flem until spring. I feel fine now but yeah always coughing and nastiness.

Anyway went on the run yesterday and was doing great but my legs just got tired. Its weird it use to be I would run out of breath and lately that's not the case. I am totally fine cardio wise but my legs just get to tired to keep going. Oh well it will all come around.

In 10-15 more pounds I am going to begin lifting again. I think it may slow some of my progress but in the long run I really think it will help me.

Dinner last night was a nice pork chop and some veggies. Today I woke up had a small bowl of granola and a orange. Lunch was a turkey wrap with a banana and a Apple. For dinner I am going to do chick with broccoli and some brussel sprouts.

I will do my run of course especially since today is the last day this week we are expecting to be dry. I can't wait for the gym across the street to open. It is going to be huge with all sorts of great workout stuff. I was thinking of picking up a spinning class when its open, that's a massive cardio and then if they offer it some yoga, never done it but I hear it is fantastic for you.

So anyway work is hella busy I hardly have free time anymore, its always like this this time of year. And what's worse is that I have to cover for all the other people who are taking time off. it sucks.

Anyway feel good today so that's great news. Hope everyone is doing well.

Another day in the books, well almost still have this afternoon of work lol. Yesterday ended really well though I went on my run and really felt great the whole time. Lots of energy and such. When I finished I felt like could have gone and done it all over again and still not be tired. If I feel like this for the next few runs I am going to lengthen the run.

Sunday's debacle with food ahs put me behind this week but I am confident that I will still end up with a nice loss. I am going to go light on dinner tonight just your standard chicken and veggies and then tomorrow I will have another run and basketball game. That should put me over the top as far as the loss. Thursday's game is the start of the playoff's, me team seems to falter in the playoffs so lets hope that we come with our A games tomorrow.

Anyway not much else going on but work it seems. Hopefully something fun will come along this weekend but most of my friends are on call. The hawks do play a Monday night game this week so that should be an event.

both lunch and breakfast today were good. I had granola and an orange for breakfast. a 100 CAL pudding pack for a snack and then lunch was a turkey ham sandwich. Pretty solid. Looking forward to my run even though its raining I need to seriously get some running rain gear cause the weather isn't going to get any better.

Sounds like you are off to a good start this week. I'm so glad you have something to look forward to exercise wise (the playoffs)! You have to keep us updated about how your team does. A few nosy questions... do you weigh yourself everyday? How long = a normal run?

To answer that I try not weigh myself everyday I would say 3 times a week on average the one I report though is on Friday's. I did end up measuring my complete run that I do. The entire route is 2.66 miles. .66 of that is the warm up down the hill and then I climb to the top of queen anne before I start the actual run. The actual run is 2 miles long. I feel like I could go further now so I might try to do so starting next week.


Today was pretty good eating had granola for breakfast with a smoothie for a snack then a chicken sandwich for lunch. Tonight I have to fit in dinner between my run and my basketball game at 7. Its going to be close I really need the energy though. I was thinking of just going to the store and getting like some granola bars or some string cheese. We will see. Last week I tried to fit the dinner in between and while it ended up working out alright I don't know if its something I wanna make a habit out of.

I was really stressed about work yesterday so I got some wine I hope that doesn't hurt me on the scales I don't think it will.

Well its almost Friday! hopefully this weekend will be good to me I seem to really struggle on weekends. and I hope to post some happy news tomorrow after my weigh in. Here's hoping for 286ish!!!
 
Holy crap, Travis! I get sick, come back, and you're at friggin 289??! I need to get my butt in GEAR. lol. So did we decide what a reasonable goal for us would be?? Ya gotta help me with that... Cuz I have no idea. Anyway, hope you had a great weekend, I'm finally all better, so this week I'll be getting back into my diary and diet again :)

Its been a rough stretch the past few days. I eat horribly didn't run just was a complete waste. I suppose times like this will happen and the important thing is to get back on the wagon and keep trucking. I am refusing to weigh in till Friday I don't want to really see the damage I have done. argh im pretty pissed at myself.

Oh well though I am fully confident taht ill straighten it all back out. This week is going to be tough too. I will run today but tomorrow is a run and a basketball game as well as Thursday. So my cardio should be excellent this week.

Today though being back on board I had a good breakfast of fruits and a granola bar. Lunch here in a few going to get a turkey ham sandwich then tonight im going to go with chicken and veggies.

The run tonight will be interesting since I haven't in a few days hopefully my body hasn't forgotten ha-ha.

It has been a bad week of chiming and for the diet. I have had a lot of stress at work as well as just not eating good. However I started back in on Tuesday with a solid run and decent on the food. Then Wednesday I had a heated basketball game which I played 3+ quarters of. It amazing after the past few months of running how much better my cardio is. We won that game and played again last night which I played all of except for 3 mins. We won again and now we are in the championship game this Sunday. Its going to be hard to get there as I have a Seahawks game earlier in the day.

Anyway back to the weight after this 2 week hiatus I was really afraid to hop on the scale. I was afraid I would see huge numbers. Reluctantly I jumped on the scale this morning and found a much better number than I thought I would. 290.8 basically up a bout a pound from my last weigh in. Not to bad and now that I am back on the horse I should start to see some numbers falling off again.

I am taking all next week off from work but I am going to make a point to post everyday on here while on this fake vacation. I took the time off to get away from the stress at work but it sounds like I am still going to have to go in a few times. The good news is I can come in in pj's and an ipod and just hammer out paperwork not have to worry about regular stuff.

I am going to make a swing past a few diaries now Hope all is well with everyone!
 
Hey, we all have those weeks. Keep up the exercise and motivation and you'll be back down in no time... I'm at a plateau myself (blah) but those things happen. Hope all is well with you and have a great week!
 
Hey Travis :) Your right- we alllll have those weeks, and I seem to be having more and more of them... honestly(and I KNOW this is a bad excuse) I think not having my computer every day is a big part of it. Alright, well I'll be back pretty soon hopefully, so keep going!! I'll talk to ya later.
