Yes I did skip the workout even though it felt almost criminal. :D I am sooo close to catching up to you. Haha. But a little challenge doesn't hurt, either. ;) Congratulations on losing weight again. :D
 
I'm 264.4 lbs this morning! Holy moly, but this whoosh has been a lovely one. I suppose the fact that everything was going through me like water yesterday and the fact that I only ate 1450 calories does help, though. Come on whoosh, hold on until 259. Just get me into those 250s, baby. You can do it.

The good news is that I had a bowl of cereal last night as an experiment to see how my stomach handled it and it went well. I did not get sick again. I think I'm going to take it really easy for a couple of days and eat only bland foods to give myself a chance to recover from whatever is going on.

Haha. I'm sorry, the silly grin is pretty much a permanent fixture these days, so I'm just going to have to look mischievous. :D Losing weight puts me in the greatest mood. It's the best natural high there is.

Thanks! :) Hehe, we've been using the word "whoosh" around here a lot lately but is it actually a word? I think it needs to be in the dictionary with the definition "losing a happy amount of weight at a happy rate" because whoosh is just that happy. :D
 
I feel so, so much better today. I have felt a little queezy throughout the day but it's completely manageable and I've been able to eat without too much difficulty. :)

I had the most fun today during my workout. I spent an entire hour trying to learn and I managed to get about a third of it down so far. :D I really, really love to dance and I always wanted to do more of it but it was so hard to get my body to respond fast enough to move. I've only lost 20 lbs at this point (though, holy cow, I've lost 20 lbs!!) but my body is already working so much more quickly than it used to. It is simply AMAZING. I'm going to go through one dance after another from that you-tube channel, learning them step by step, and having a BLAST losing weight while I'm at it. :D

When I was about 6 years old I was in a ballet class for a year and I remember that I really loved it. I was taken out of it for some reason though and never went back into another dance class until I was an adult. I wonder... if I'd continued beyond that year, would things have turned out differently?

I just can't coordinate arms and feet at the same time. I love to dance but look absolutely ridiculous. It's a form of entertainment in my family to watch me trying to do our Wii Just Dance game.

I'm so close to the 250s! It's been so, so long since I've weighed that much. Thinking back on it, I think it has been about 5 years. But... wow... under 250... I can't even imagine it. I might cry when it happens, but in a good way. :)

Hey, we can all dance! Some of us just look a bit sillier than others while doing it. :D I'm definitely getting better at it but that certainly doesn't mean I'm not looking my own fair share of silly at times. :D

I really do want to try out that Wii Just Dance game, though. One of these days I will, when I have some extra money to get it with. :)
 
Yesterday was really terrific. My best friend came over again for 40 minutes of yoga and a half hour walk and then I made her dinner! I made whole wheat quesadillas with pepper jack cheese, spinach, red bell pepper, onions and black beans. After that, I tracked the calories of the meal at sparkpeople.com. She was really impressed with how it provided a complete break down of the calories, fat, protein, and carbs in the meal per ingredient and I think she's going to start tracking there, too. :)

I'm really proud that I've gotten her here with me once a week working out and now possibly tracking calories. :) Once I can afford to join a gym, I'm going to see if I can convince her to do it with me and we can go together. That would be so much fun.

It's tremendously funny how much I pine on a regular basis now for new workout equipment. This week I've been just about physically longing for a better set of weights (I only have one pair and they're getting too light for me now). But... really... I'm anticipating Christmas with shiny-eyed enthusiasm... because it is the one time of year when I have frivolous money to spend and it is going to be spent pretty much entirely on fitness equipment! :D The me of last Christmas would look at the present day me as if she were a complete lunatic, probably. But the me of last Christmas was 20 lbs fatter, so there.

I find it hilarious how I long for workout equipment. Last week I treated my self to special weights and webbed gloves to work out in the pool. I was thrilled with them and I'm sure my christmas list will be all fitness equipment. I would never have envisioned this last christmas. :D It amazes me how you can completely turn your life around in a few months. :)

It is amazing! It's only been about two months for me but what has happened in that time is remarkable. It makes me wonder what changes will have come by the time that 6 months have passed. :)
 
Tonight I am going to do an extremely relaxing session (which I access on Netflix Instant View with my Wii), then I'm going to take a long, luxurious soak in the tub, and then finally slip beneath my covers for the night and wonderfully sleep to prepare for the hike I'm going on tomorrow. :)

Off I go to yoga. :)
 
Candlelight yoga sounds nice before bedtime. :)

It was pretty amazing. There was only one problem. Even though I dimmed the lights, the light coming from the TV was pretty bright. But the yoga moves are really simple so I just turned away from the TV and closed my eyes and that helped a lot because I could still follow everything from the instructor's verbal directions for each move without needing to watch the television screen. Plus it's really pretty great to spend 40 minutes making every single move with your eyes closed, completely trusting yourself and your body.

You could turn down the brightness on the TV as well, might help.

I am glad you are enjoying the yoga. not my thing-i much prefer pilates :)
