I agree with you on this one...I find if I spread it out, then it's way too easy to keep upping the amount of calories I'm getting.

I also think that the body is not super efficient at getting bulk calories in one hit. If you eat 400 calories a day extra, I think you are going to find more of it sticks than if you go crazy and eat 6000 calories in one huge splurge. You don't gain a couple of pounds the next day in fat, just in temporary weight.
It was kind of nice to eat like that, but I also think that what I considered to be a HUGE amount of food was actually pretty tame compare to what I would have considered to be a huge amount of food three months ago. My stomach is definitely smaller.
