Hello all, i decided to start a new Journal.
-----------current stats----------------

Sex: Male
Age: 25
Height: 5'10''
starting weight: 216 ( 2010 )
Weight: 200.4 lbs ( weigh in on Sundays )

a brief moment in time.

February 2010: I was at the doctors office and they told me i was 216 lbs. this hit me. So that day i went home and went for a walk and decided i would try and walk off some of the weight.

March - June 2010: Walking every day about 1 - 3 miles and cut my calories to 1500 a day.

July2010: my first child was born.

August 2010: I Found this website and upped my mileage to 5 miles a day 5-6 days a week and 1700 calories a day.

- argued with Jericho, found out he is a smart dude just trying to uphold the law of the land.

October 2010: computer died and started getting cold outside again I cut my walking back a bit.

November - December 2010: Fell off the wagon hard went from 194lbs - 206lbs (got new computer)

Jan: 2011 Came back to this website. I see some people are gone that where here a few months ago and i see lots of new faces. I wish i could have stayed in better contact on here it feels lonely again because I only recognize like three people.

Looks like i need to start walking again. My Wife decided after Christmas she wanted to lose some weight. so i Gave her all the info I had for what I was doing but she didn't want to count calories nor does she have time to walk with our six month old because of the harsh winter weather... temp in the teens and precipitation etc. So she joined weight watchers. She really seems to like it i have been helping her and doing it with her but only using her points. I am trying to stick to 1700 calories a day.

To anyone that is still on here that was in my walking club I am sorry we didn't get to finish. I am thinking about starting a new walking club but I will first see who is interested in it.




So any thoughts or comments please share them with me.

Thanks Ladies. Yeah, I think he rep-remanded me for posting a link that was an advertisement for some company or lady. But the point of me posting it was to show how bad McDonalds food is. Then I was yelling back and forth with him for a bit. Then we started talking and he turned out to be a cool dude I was in the wrong anyhow because the video was filled with advertisements.

I got a bad point too on my first day on the site i think....for adding a link on youtube...my bad..i should have read the rules. meh c'est la vie :)
 
So I am not sure if will have time to write my food every day but im going to try.

Breakfast: Special K ( 1 cup ) and 1/4 cup fat free milk.
Snack: one piece of sharp cheese 1 inch by 1/2 12 wheat crackers
Lunch: Salad with 2 ounces of roast chicken breast/ balsamic vinaigrette ( 1 packet )
Snack: 4 Pineapple slices 1/2 banana & a spoon full of peanut butter.
Dinner: Orange and black bean salad.

walked for about 15 minuets. its 35* and raining :cuss:

im looking forward to walking more again.
 
G'day I am one of those faces you may not have seen before as I will disapear from here for month's at a time depending on RL so understand the feeling of only seeing new faces. I will drop in here and check up on ya from time to time :)

Snack: n/a
Lunch: Had Lunch meeting at a Chinese buffet :(
Snack: n/a
Dinner: Special K ( 1 cup ) and 1/4 cup fat free milk.

walked 3.5 miles.

not feeling so good about myself got sucked into going to the buffet and i didn't really want to go. i had a sushi roll and a spoon of white rice spoon of General TSOs chicken two spoons of snap peas 3 onion rings spoon of coconut chicken a spoon of spicy chicken and an egg roll.

Lunch: pastrami and swisscheese on 100 wheat bread.
Snack: banana
Dinner: spinach salad with pears, feta, cranberry & mustard vinaigrette.

no walk to much snow

I didn't know you before but I'm glad you're back! I've been on here off and on for awhile now so I'm used to it, lol. Good luck!
 
Weigh in day: 200.4 lbs ....woot!

So i am thinking about starting up the walking club for February.

breakfast: 1 cup special K 1/4 cup FFmilk

snack: water

Lunch: mixed greens salad with two red beet eggs and four slices of black pepper turkey. six veggie crackers

Snack: string cheese and diet Dr. Pepper

Dinner: SMALL slice of pizza & pastrami sandwich with swiss and 10 crackers.

its to cold and windy to walk :/ i am sort of getting depressed by this. i really want to get out and about but its Really cold. was -4 this morning and about 20 this afternoon with winds... snow tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday.

I hope every one reading is doing well! ( if any one reads this haha)

-Rich has a 1 in 3 chance of dropping a valuable item and a 1 in 5 chance of dropping a rare item.

If Rich is not defeated, he will cast "Sweet Tooth" - which will automatically give a one pound disadvantage to three random competitors at the next weigh in.

what is this game/checklist thing you are doing?? seems like fun :) i clicked the link, but it just took me to the main page here.

p.s. you seem to have great motivation. I haven't been on here for long, so wouldn't be familiar, but welcome back :)
