what is this game/checklist thing you are doing?? seems like fun :) i clicked the link, but it just took me to the main page here.

p.s. you seem to have great motivation. I haven't been on here for long, so wouldn't be familiar, but welcome back :)

I just started it this week its been running since the new year started. But you should give it a shot its fun and may keep you motivated.

snack:Almonds, special K bar, pine apple.

Lunch: steamed clams with lemon, small salad, small fruit cup

Snack: peanut butter piece of whole grain bread 7 a pear.

Dinner: salad with siracha chicken.

walked: 6'' of snow... no walk.
one hour of activity in the basement.

1 min marching in place, 1 minute of shoulder and neck rolls, 1 minute simulated jump roping, 25 jumping jacks [x]
-earn the achievement [Dr. Foodlove, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Gym]
-Rich has a 1 in 3 chance of dropping a valuable item and a 1 in 5 chance of dropping a rare item.

If Rich is not defeated, he will cast "Sweet Tooth" - which will automatically give a one pound disadvantage to three random competitors at the next weigh in.

Wow looks like you're chugging right along there buddy! I remember back in your Newcomer post you said your computer broke or something to that effect. Hope that doesnt happen again so you can remain in the RPG and kick some ass :D

Nah, if it happens again i am going to be so pissed because its new lol. yeah the RPG is a great idea man. im enjoying it. dunno if im going to bet all the walking in though... SNOW lots of snow. i live in the country so im not close to a gym or rec center.

im thinking about doing a hike on Saturday though that should help a bit.

I'm pretty new around here, so I don't know you from before but I'm glad to hear you're back!

It looks like you're not always able to do your walks as planned... Do you have an alternate form of exercise you could do at home if the weather is bad?

Sure thing. my walking club is simple. get out and walk. Walking is SO easy to stick to and its easy on your joints. And well i do alot fo hiking in spring fall and yes even winter when no snow... but walking just keeps me in shape for hiking haha.

Hey, welcome. Yeah when im home i do some floor work and lift in my basement.

Lunch: two red beat eggs, cup of fruit

snack: banana

Dinner: 10 oz grilled Delmonico streak, small salad and half a sweet potato.

well i spelled it wrong its red beet eggs. not beat.. my bad ;)

weather is crap every day its does something. im going to PM you a link to red beet egg recipe from the area i live in. i don't want to post it because of the forum rules etc...

also i can't snowboard worth crap.

I actually tried snowboarding for the first time last weekend...it was scary...VERY scary! I'm going to stick with skiing...I at least know I can make it down the hill alive!!! :)

yeah i don't ski either haha more power to you! i would rather hike down the mountain.

That's good, you've got something in place for the crappy weather days!

Normally I'd go to the gym, or do a workout at home (we have a BOSU, an exercise ball, exercise bands, etc). Lately the project has been to try some of the workout DVD's that are kicking around out there(P90x, pilates, yoga), and also the wii fit plus (it sat there in the package for a year, so we figured we should open it!). So far so good... nice to mix it up & take a break from the gym.

I think this might have been asked already, but have you tried snowshoeing before?

Yeah, its nothing great mind you.

P90X is crazy i have them on my PC someone let me barrow them. i did one of the starting things and WOW its crazy. also wii fit is really cool but i haven't got a wii... i have a PS3 but not the active stuff.

Nope never tried snowshoeing before.
 
So what a very long weekend so far... i am not sure where to begin..

I found out my wife is Pregnant again! :party:

Friday
Breakfast: Special K ( 1 cup ) and 1/4 cup fat free milk.
Snack: special K bar
Lunch: Salad pear, feta cranberry and walnuts
snack: fruit salad ( home made)
Dinner: I Went to a Samuel Adams dinner i had Ticket for. I put my Diet on hold for the night and enjoyed myself. ( lots of salad, veggies and fruit though! )


Saturday
Breakfast: Special K bar
Snack: n/a
Lunch: Salad with 1 red beet egg and greek dressing
Snack: n/a
Dinner: 10 chicken nuggets ( home made ) two spoons of pulled pork & two mini meat balls. Scotch on the rocks. ( added because its also calories ) ( protein hell yeah! )
