your doing great. you havent posted to much on your diet. just make sure your body doesnt go in starvation mode and start storing everything you eat if your just having juice. Im so jealous of everyone under 200. I need to join a gym. Ive modified my diet but have not been excising very much. I hate running. I run like 20 feet and get tired. maybe I can find something else at the gym.
 
I am jealous of the running.

I have a dream of starting to run some in March if I stay on plan and hit my goals. Then maybe a 5k in late April or May
 
Off day today, will run wednesday and saturday.


Size 32:

I don't post my diet because I really don't keep track like I should, I try to keep to 1500 a day but really I keep track in my head, I do need to shape up here, the last three days I haven't been doing 1500 because needed a break from eating the same foods. My focus has been running and or trying to run haha.

You said you needed to join a gym... why? GYM is a waste of money. I would say start walking... My grandfather started walking in 2003 he was a pretty big guy, and he counted calories. He would walk every day first just around the block.. less then a mile then he added more and more. he is 70 years old and walks about 4-6 miles a day in summer and about 3-4 in winter. when he started walking and eating better he lost weight like crazy. If your hell bent on not walking or running find a local gym and ask tell them you would like a tour prior to joining and you would like to try it for a day. See how you feel working out in one. I enjoy the freedom of running when I want to without having to drive to a gym to use a tredmill or I do P90X. As far as running goes in one month I went from walking as you see from my journal to running almost 2 miles with out stopping.

Sorry about the lack of updates this week, Life decided to kick in full gear, I did run 1.2 miles Thursday I forgot to log it though.

can some one help me? Im kinda down in the dumps, my food is slipping back to unhealthy options... I need/will to correct this tomorrow.. I am going to keep a food journal on here, Can one of you be a friend and keep on my about it?

Also I'm getting sick, my wife and kids are all sick now im getting it :/
 
Good catch noticing that you've been starting to fade a little and taking action now. Post away on the food journal and we'll chip in what bits of advice we can but I have a strong suspicion that by starting to keep the journal you'll find that your food choices start to get a whole lot better on their own.


Keep with it and remember to listen to your body and not overdue the activity if you're starting to come down with something. Better to take an extra day of rest now rather than trying to push through and turning it into something more serious that could knock you off your feet for a week or more.


In short February is starting to suck but stick with it both for yourself and because we'll all need you around in a week or two when we start to slip...
 
Hi Top sorry you and your family are sick, my family and I are just giving the infection back and forth to each other too. I can just whisper and sometimes I can't speak a word: I - - - - you - - make - - - cu- -- cof----, lol. The doctor has me on Z Pack and PredniSone.


I will be back on here soon, I will be keeping your back, but if you are getting sick you won't be eating much. Hey 1500 calories don't sound like much, with doing exercises and working! When you get better try eating three meals a day and watch how and what you cook and use portion size. I started back today trying to eat something besides jello and chicken noodle soup, lol. I am trying to count points today, I have 11 points left, but I am not counting points for fruits and vegetables this time. I want to make sure I am getting enough calories, and work some of the calories off, by exercising. I was walking 15 minutes one way and back home again, but I got sick. I goofed by taking the flu shot 2010 & 2011, I am not taking it this year! I stay sick way too often now; before I just took a little cold from allergies in March. This is crazy!!


My weight is back up to 161 with clothes on. I was able to eat a pack of plain Pop tarts this morning without getting sick and drunk 1 cup of coffee. I have had two fruits, so far (1 banana & a helping of green grapes), and for lunch I ate 1/2 cup of left over Home style Campbell's Healthy Request chicken noodle soup and some crackers.

SO here is today food


Breakfast: one apple, two pears & 2 and a half carrots ( juiced )


Snack: Yogurt & granola bar & water


Lunch: Small salad with an egg on it and some french dressing( was all that was there) & Water


Snack: home made beef stick ( with cheese in it ) & Water


Dinner: Beef tips fried in pan with werchestersire (sp) & spices, corn & half a baked potato (plain)... water


Extras: ( spoon of honey)
