ok, onto the boring stuff....

lunch - lentil soup and diet coke 300 cals

dinner - refried bean enchiladas with rice and yoghurt 1000 cals

snacks- (and here is where it all went to hell....)

4 slices toast and butter 600 cals
3 bags crisps (not at the same time tho!) 360 cals
one sqaure choc 30 cals
3 celebrations 100 cals
hot chocolate with cream and kit kat 200 cals

total cals - 2600 ish...dammit

i need to stop snacking. at least my chocolate consumption is down! now if i cut down the crisps il be home and dry!

Exercise

1 mile walk with dog
50 push ups
50 crunches


I have even ordered a proper outdoor waterproof jacket so that i cant use the rain as an excuse!
 
Rain coats are great but umbrellas are more fun :) Especially when they get with a strong gust of wind and turn inside out pulling you down the street :X

But seriously, I have one that is so big it could fit 5 people under it...if that thing ever caught some wind I'd probably get hurt, lol. So what's your new coat look like?
 
lol im afraid it's nothing special - just a blue fleece lined waterproof...saving all the pretty clothes for when my chunky ass decreases!

The most awful month has just passed and I cant believe that it is all finally over.....literally births, deaths, marriages and school inspections. Very stressful and it drained me of all energy. So now Im back in the game and determind that i wil not ive in to the temptation to bury myself in crap food. It def wont help me and will make me feel a hell of a lot worse!


Back to 1600 cals per day, daily exercise and 3x classes/sessions at the gym per week. I really have let myself go and allowed myself to out in the salmonella weight which i am really annoyed at myself for! But it will be gone by Christmas and i will be down to 210 by then if it kills me (which it might actually do!) At the moment Im weighing in at a higher weight than i was before i went on holiday, and much as it kills me i will adjust my ticker accordingly...:banghead::banghead::banghead:


New start weight: 229lbs ...aaarrgghhhhh!

So i need to lose 20lbs in 7 weeks! Might be a bit unrealistic but so long as I keep going then I dont care if it feels like hell!

I'm back and I'm re-starting!

Well.....it all kinda went wrong there for a while. I could do the usual excuses but I'm not going to! I fell off the wagon quite spectacularly and I really hate myself for doing it. Earlier this year I went from 248lbs to 213lbs between april and july....then it crept back on, thanx in large part to my VERY bad choices, too much wine and far too mant take aways. I know that I have let myself undo a lot of good work as I am currently sitting 235lbs ( only 13lbs away from my start weight :(:(:()

So the very cheesy new years res is to get back into shape! Starting from right this very second I will be back to eating healthily, watching the cals and exercising. I know exactly how to do this (thanx to many very clever people on this site who helped me so much the first time!) so no excuses - im shifting the weight back down the way!


There are six big things happening this year to motivate me along

February - Valentine weekend in Paris

April - 10 year anniversary!! Adventure weekend away in Perth

July - My birthday and my best friends 30th (so BIG party)

July - Summer holiday (probably somewhere very hot!)

October - My hubbys 30th (weekend away to Amsterdam)

December - All the xmas parties that i felt so fat and frumpy at this year....i cant do that again next year.

Throw into the mix the usual weekends out, etc and i can pretty much have at least 2 things to really look forward to most months. I am determind that I will feel better about my body by the time we leave for Paris. So i have exactly 6 weeks until we leave.


Here are my optimistic targets

Friday 13th Feb 220lbs (15st 10lbs)

Friday 20th March 210lbs (15st)

Friday 10th April 200lbs (14st 4lbs)

Friday 15th May 190lbs (13st 8lbs)

Friday 19th June 180lbs (12st 12lbs)

Friday 18th Sept 160lbs (11st 6lbs)

I am roughly aiming for abt 2lbs per week, and allowing myself extra time towards the end as i know that my weight loss will slow (which was why I failed this time...:banghead::banghead:)

Oh well, I'm back on the wagon now!
 
An added incentive for the summer - we are booking a holiday to St Lucia tomorrow!! I am so excited as i hav never been to the caribbean :D:D:D totally delighted and will def have to get into decent shape for all the hiking and beach photos!

I'm feeling motivated and i KNOW that we will keep on going!! New year, new start...and there is no way that I am going onto a gorgeous St Lucian beach with all this insulation!!

Food

My sleeping pattern has been weird (fell asleep at 7am and woke at 3pm!) so eating was also strange!

Lunch/Dinner - 200g beef curry, 100g lamb curry, 2 pakora with dip, serving of rice, chapati and a little piece of naan bread (9000 cals at most)

Supper - 2 slices toast with low fat soft cheese (300 cals)

Snacks - Small piece of banoffee pie (400 cals), one chocolate (30 cals), 3 diet cokes.

Total cals - Around 1700ish (over estimating to make sure i count them all!)

Exercise

(I am starting slow! I have allowed myself to get pretty unfit so im building up slowly)

Toning exercises (20 mins)


Tomorrow I will be doing a 4 mile walk and using the WII dance mat - so much fun!!

Still insomniatic and decided to set goals for the remainder of january...it keeps me on track!

January 2nd Weight was 235lbs

Target for Jan 9th - 232lbs - perhaps ambitious but i always lose a few extra pounds at the beginning

Target for Jan 16th - 230lbs

Target for Jan 23rd - 228lbs

Target for Jan 30th - 226lbs

By the end of Jan I hope to be 226lbs or less!


The holiday has now made me want to lose as much as i possibly can by 10th July. In my original targets I had put 174lbs, which i would be happy with...Realistically, I can lose 52lbs by then if i lose steadily at 2lbs per week....so that would make me 183lbs (13st 1lb) i think if i push myself, I can lose more so i will be aiming hard for that 174 mark!

I am not going to be a size 8 on holiday, but i can damn well make it to a 14 or a 12! This is a beach holiday - with hiking involved too - and i want to feel good!
 
Completed the 4 mile walk really easily! Feel quite chuffed that Im not quite as unfit as i thought i was :D:D:D

The poor puglet is exhausted!
 
Welcome back Tink :). Good job on the 4 mile walk! That holiday is sure a great incentive. No one wants to be on a beach at their heaviest weight so you really dont have a choice, do you now LOL. I'm also motivating myself by my planned summer trips. My friend just moved to Bermuda and has a 2 bedroom condo overlooking the beautiful ocean and a beach, so I will be heading there in May. I used to live there and will surely be running into some people I knew when I was around 25 years old and VERY in shape (now I'm 40 eeeeeek and a chubette haha). So I want to look great when I go! I also hit up the beach locally literally every single weekend in the summer, practically rain or shine that's how much I love it. So yeah, time to get started NOW.

wow just been on the dance mat and what a workout!!! soooo much fun and i set it to battle so that i had to try and beatthe WII but i couldnt do it - even on the beginning stages! chue mega competitive allie! I am totally exhausted now!
